Great Wall Restaurant

Every time I go to Prince George I make sure I stop in for a meal.
The Great Wall has great food and the best value for your Money.

Food was fresh and hot, great selection at the buffet, great place for the whole family! Layout makes it a little tough to navigate when it’s busy, but not a huge problem

Food used to be not too bad and reasonable but now everthing is expensive and corners being cut in some dishes to save money. Almond gai ding poor, big chunks of celery & carrot and very little chicken or almond, sauce flavourless and watery. I worked in a chinese restaurant for 5 1/2 years and know when quality dishes are being put out. IT seems to be indusrty wide. I think a combo of not having skilled chefs and also compromise on quality to save money.very disappointing only one or two decent Chinese food places left in Prince George. If I want quality Chinese food the its a trip to Vancouver where competion has kept most restaurants at the top of their game.

Out of the two Chinese buffets in Prince George this is hands down the Best of the two. They however don't have a lunch Buffet since COVID. Prices are reasonable for smorg, staff are always friendly, service is great, food quality is good and delicious. Selection of items is great. It's my go to when I'm in town.

Ordered take out for a few people they sent 1 fork, 2soya, 2 plum sauce. Ribs were solid bone, greasy, asked for for chop seuy they chicken n vegs. Pitiful

We picked up dinner for my teens birthday this week and it was delicious. The past few times we have ordered have been great and that's why we keep on ordering

Took my Grandsons for dinner. A couple of them are Football players, they ate well. We are pleased.

I ordered the chicken chow mein combo with sweet and sour pork and a spring roll. Where do I start. The sweet and sour pork was the saving grace of this meal, since the noodles and chicken from the chicken chow mein were basically boiled to over cooked-ness and not even seasoned or sauced. The noodles were awfully bland, stir in your sweet and sour sauce and you at least have some hint of flavor. Spring roll was greasy, the little bag it came in was saturated.

Food was Okay, Selection was kind of mediocre. Prices are steep. 90$ for 3 people buffet.
Atmosphere is friendly and bright. Service is friendly.
They have some weird '' hello, welcome '' automated robot voice that is right by the seating area.and it was extremely annoying to hear it go off every 10 seconds, it sounded like it was broken, Defiantly should get rid of this as it is clearly pointless.

Always such a great experience here, great customer service, friendly staff, delicious food and clean well maintained environment, this is our spot lol.

Pretty respectable buffet options. I thought the meats should have been cut a bit more bite-size, but tasty.

Also had food poisoning twice from The Great Wall.
The first time, I didn't think the food here was the cause, but, when I got sick again the night I came for dinner here, I confirmed that it was the food that made me sick.

This is without a doubt, " The Very, Very, Best Chinese Restaurant in Central B. C. That I ever had the Prevaldge to eat at and Home Delivery is the quickest in town. The Freshest, always on top of things that we want from a cook, and Staff. So! Take my Advice and make it yours to enjoy. Thx. GWR.

Was surprised. The food was very good. Hit and miss on a couple of items but overall I would recommend.

I thought the food was great. The price is good and the staff were very accommodating. We went for the buffet. Great selection. Will probably go again.

I really like the take out here but the 2 times I ate in the restaurant I was not really impressed with the food. The srevice is always good though.

Went there with a group of friends for the buffet and it was all very good. The sushi was legit, all the food was fresh and stocked at the buffet. Will be returning for sure!

Nice buffet with a good selection. Very good food if you order off the menu as well. One of our go to spots for Chinese food.

Spent 75 on a take out dinner to take to hospital to welcome first grandson (stayed at Ronald McDonald house’. August 15). Chicken chow mien so dry.beef n broccoli blah, deep fried prawns could not chew batter, almond chicken more like rubber chicken twice deep fried, war won ton in fish tasting water. Down the toilet. I have never written a review or take. Food back but I did take chicken back to ask what it was.that’s almond chicken! It’s a rubber mess I said. I said the food was terrible. I did not come to get my money backI came to say the food is disgusting. She quickly scurried to the back. I left. But felt I needed to do that, maybe smorgasbord is better, I do not live In the area but was very very disappointed in our family celebration dinner

A awesome place to come for all you can eat. Especially in the evenings, as they offer both a Canadian menu and Chinese

Food was terrible 2 day old Chinese food in the fridge was better! Definitely won't be coming back anymore.

May 29/19 I found the food quite bland tasting. Chicken balls too hard to cut. A good variety.just not executed very well. Rice pudding was runny on top and just packed into the pan so I recommend the puddings. We have definitely had better.

The only food that was hot was the few things that had just come out of the kitchen. Everything else was cold (at a temp that could potentially make people sick) we let them know on the way out and they argued that everything was steaming. It was not. I wonder how much was left over from the lunch buffet as everything we had that had breading was also soggy.

Love their food, and the service was so great for the birthday party we celebrated for my younger cousin <3 I'm sorry about only getting a photo of their Koi fish and gold fish ('^^) they have a fish tank

Bland food. Not enough soy sauce to at least try to hide how bad the food was. Didn’t send utensils with a delivery. Just overall really bad. Who messes up Chinese food? !

Not very good food sorry to say most of it seemed over cooked and dried out. Really wanted some good Chinese food cuz we don't go out much. The service was great though. Very nice lady!

Consistent with their orders and nice portion sizes! The Steamed Garlic Spareribs with Black Bean sauce is one of my favourites. Oh ya and great online web based ordering system. Simple and easy to use; even granny can do it!

My husband got food poisoning from here. The food was cold and tasted gross. The chow mein tasted like cigarette smoke. They would bring out new food and just mix it with the leftover old stuff. Who knows how long some of the food was sitting out. The selection wasn't that great and it was expensive. The service was okay, but considering how ill my husband was, we will never be back.

Poor service rude staff waited over an hour and forty five minutes for my food and it was cold and when i sent it back i got attitude and they refused me and my family I'm unhappy about this
