Great White Toys - Comics - Games

Prices are unbelievably high for everything in the store. They are ripping off parents who want to buy comics and games for their kids.
The big guy who works behind the counter is always less than excited to see a customer.
He is quite rude on top of that.

I have been here couple times with my kid. The staffs are friendly and if you are looking for some toys or even gifts for kids this place is great. Sometimes it is worth taking a look. Kindly staff.

Went in one day found what I was looking for no problem but when I went up to purchase my items and asked for a few packs of cards was the problem and was told “uh no” rudely but he grabbed them anyways and continued my purchase but very unprofessional and rude staff for me to consider spending my money else where

One of the best tou stores I have ever visited. Not a huge space but filled with things I have never seen. Amazing Lego and game selection.

The Magic the gathering section is directly at the till at a busy store, felt a little rushed and in the way when trying to view the cards, other than that great selection

Helpful staff, they will look up any games you're searching for. Wonderful comics, crafting, and gifts as well. One of my favorite places to go.

I used to play magic here post pandemic and it's always a nice fun place to go, I've been back since but have neglected to play since I'm not sure if I'll get back into the game but I know that If I were to play again this would be the place id go.

Great service, the staff are all very knowledgeable about the different games they sell and always have great recommendations. If they don't have what your looking for that moment, they can order it quickly!

Love this store, so many childhood memories of comics. Selection is amazing for everything else as well. Santa photos there were set up perfectly

Yo, I wanted to buy 6 packs of Pokemon cards but it came to over $125 just for 6 packs? Holy moly. $22 a pack is just insane prices. I do like Great White and I believe they offer a really fun environment of toys and collectibles you can't find anywhere else in Prince George, but the prices of some things especially Pokemon cards make it almost impossible to shop here.

If you don't know what to buy for a child's birthday, go here. You'll be glad you did.

We always have a great experience at Great White. There is an older lady that works there that is super friendly and helpful everytime we visit. We never leave without something because there's always a great selection. Kind of like Costco.go in for one thing, leave with a lot more!

Great selection of many different items, ranging from comic books to board games to statues. I bought an Alan Moore book and a Neil Gaiman book, both part 1s of a series I hope to continue.

A little bit blown away at the pokemon card prices.
Was in there today to see booster boxes that should be about 180$. For well over $300 +tax. And Elite Trainer Boxes that are 76$ at wal mart, going for 160$+ tax

With the big boom in pokemon right now, this is absolutely price gouging.

Other local shops in BC blow great white out of the water on pricing.

Pretty insane.

Edit: Now it's obvious they insult clientele intelligence when all major source books for tabletop (such as all the Wizards of the Coast books) have CAD and USD clearly printed. Yet Great White puts sticker over these and claims they have different costs.

Very misleading business practices. They mark up cover prices on books, especially source books for table top games. When asked about this they use the "local business" excuse despite the fact that 3 other local game/book stores sell these same books at cover price because it's a cover price for a reason.

Waaaaaayyyyy overpriced compared to other stores that carry the same merchandise. As an example a Rubik's cube is $9.99 at WalMart, the EXACT same cube is $17.99 here. However if ypu are looking for hard-to-find gaming items that you cannot wait to order-in, this is the place to go. Staff are always helpful and friendly and they have an incredible selection.

This place has anything you could want a huge selection of LEGO which is why I go there all the time and other choices for everyone else. A bit too expensive but still a place I would always recommend checking out.

This is a hugely fun store to walk through. All kinds of toys and games. Lots of throwback type toys too. All kinds of comics and books too.

Very nice store, I know the store owner very well and he puts his blood, sweat, and tears in his store. I would recommend if you are going there as a Magic the Gathering player it is great for newcomers and returning players wanting to start in community events and tournaments.

Amazing selection, from Legos, puzzles, and comics along with many other things. If you have a hobby in kind of nerdy things or looking for gifts for kids, this is the place to go.

Great selection. I live out of town, so I have a box where they reserve my comics for me. Every time I come in I have a selection to take home and enjoy.

This store has somehing for everyone but the layout can be a bit confusing. Like a maze getting to the checkout counter.

Awesome store with all kinds of games. Board games, lego, model cars and trucks. Everything for a big kid and small ones as well

I've always loved this play even before they moved it to spruce land mall but other than that they need to fix the labeling for the comic books Its always been a pain if you ask me

Recently went to buy some cards from here I figured the packs were to expensive being $22 bucks a pack so I figured I'll just buy the box since it's worth 100-120 including shipping. I asked for a box and how much it would be, so he grabs a pack of cards and runs it through 8 times for the total of the box and tells me that will be 180 plus tax. I would rather order offline for none on. Even there cheaper cards that a box is worth 80 bucks is sold for $17 per pack. This place is a huge money grab. If you see it here odds are its somewhere else cheaper 9 times out of ten.

Was in the store with a buddy of mine to purchase some action figures for his nephew for Christmas. Ended up buying a thor action figure even though it was quite expensive. We ended up finding 2 better action figures at london drugs for quite a bit cheaper. We rushed back to great white to return the action figure only to find out they have one of the worst policies I have ever seen, especially seen as how it was christmas. We literally were back within the hour and couldnt get our money back. We were told that its been their policy for 27 years. They seems to be more concerned with taking money as opposed to satisfying customers. After discovering this policy i most likely will not be spending any money there. Really dissappointing.
