Greater Victoria Public Library - Goudy Branch

Not very good people are eating in the libary not many books to choose from

I used to love this library with the coffee shop but now you can't even use the washroom without people doing drugs and spending half hour in them: (
I prefer to take my daughter to juan de fuca now hopefully that lasts

Fast and easy Library to navigate and use. Not a huge selection, but for its size, it's great. Wife and I come here to print forms off time to time. Wish it was bigger!

The Greater Victoria Public Library, specifically the Langford branch, is a popular and well-liked library in the community. It offers a range of services and amenities, making it a great resource for both recreational and educational purposes. The physical amenities of the Langford branch are also noteworthy. It provides a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for visitors to enjoy.

It’s literally a shoebox.
There’s also this ambiguous corridor that connects to neighbouring Ponchos Cafe where people will eat their burritos and drink their coffee at a long study table with electrical outlets on it clearly meant for computer or desk work. Nobody wants a public library private business crossover. Thats two bags of empty milk jugs left by the table in the picture.

In this particular branch I never take kids there and me personally don’t feel quiet safe. There’s always someone sitting/ sleeping inside with a very bad odour and a barricade of huge bags.
I feel very bad about homeless people but when it comprises the safety, some actions should be taken.

A very small branch, so not a huge book selection, but great to pick up books I put on hold. Happy to have a branch within walking distance from my place.
