This is my go to Greek. Always delicious and great sized portions. I love the lamb and Greek potatoes. The Kalamari is also bomb.

Best Greek food I've ever had, by far. Waitress was super friendly and the service was awesome. I got the lamb souvlaki lunch skewer with Greek salad. The dressing was AMAZING, I think they also sell it so next time I'm there I'll have to buy some lol. The roasted potatoes and vegetables were SOOOOO good. I could eat it everyday and never get sick of it.

Our server Makayla was great we had lots of questions about certain items on the menu and she took her time to help us. The house wine was good and at a reasonable cost. The food was tasty and very enjoyable. Those are all the qualities of a GREAT restaurant! We will be back!

This chain has existed in the city for decades, and the longevity is a testament to the quality of the overall experience. They are able to accommodate vegetarians, and the bar selection is pretty good. Service has always been good when I've gone. Delivery is also a viable option.

Greeting staff was nice but server wasn't; couldn't answer questions about the food. Calamari tasted bad, like it was cooked in very old oil like other reviewers have noted.

Their food seemed generally low quality, priced medium-high, with large portions. Way more grease and oil than I want or expect. Ceasar salad was nice but again it had an insane amount of dressing so yeah you throw enough lard on something and it tastes good. But that isn't what I want to go to a restaurant for.

I always like going to the Greek Islands ever since my first visit. The service is always kind to the customers and the inside of the establishment is clean and looks high-class. The food is top-notch, down to their side salads they serve before the entrees. If you ever come to either locations in Abbotsford, I recommend their schnitzels or the Chicken Oscar.

Absolutely hands down favorite restaurant EVER! The food is always amazing. The staff are friendly, kind and willing to accommodate anything. You can tell the pride the owners take in everything they do. Food was delicious and went home with left overs that I am already excited to eat. Please go and eat here! You will never be disappointed. Very beautiful and a warm and inviting place. I will continue to go over and over again!

Consistently Great food at this restaurant. The service is friendly, quick and the decor is very nice. We enjoy their lunches and the huge menu selection. We tried the Chilliwack location and found it didn't compare. We've gone often enough now to give it 5 stars without hesitation.

I am probably the wrong person to ask. I really don't like Greek food, so I won't comment on it.
Service was slow. Really slow. I ordered a Greek beer. A bit later the server came back and asked if anyone wanted another drink. I still had not received my drink. She did not ever look at me. Then she took our food order. A whole later, a server came back and said they were out of the beer I ordered, and suggested another, which I ordered. Then the food came out. Then, after we had been eating for a bit, I got my beer. Probably 20-25 minutes from the time I ordered it. It was warm.

Also, they had set up tables in the parking lot. I guess they call it a patio. With folding plastic tables. It was so slanted thati had to hold my beer glass constantly or it would slide off the table. Chair was a plastic folding chair.

I would call this a dive, but an expensive one.

I would like to say I will never be back, but my wife likes Green food so I may be unable to avoid it.

I really want to give 1 star, but the second is me giving the benefit of the doubt. The food may have actually been good if you like Greek food.

Tried Take out, called waited 7 minutes then got hung up on. Called back ordered. Went to get food had to ask for help as no would make eye contact. Apparently they have a shortage on Cesar salad as we got half lol and same with the pita got 5 quarters for 3 full meals. Vegetables overcooked, rice dripping In oil. Please save your money go to the amazing Greek restaurant on Immel in Abby.

Honestly, best Greek food I have ever had. I have probably had their food from the Langford location over 100 times and I can say it's always been great. Never been disappointed.

A popular and busy restaurant that does incredibly well for the amount of people they serve. Their dishes might not be the best you'll ever have but they do a damn good job by comparison to other far quieter (and more expensive) places. The decor is appealing, a real effort has been made to convey a modern Greek theme and the staff are eager to please. Don't expect a quiet, intimate experience though, the place buzzes with activity. Probably one of the best restaurants in the Fraser Valley for the atmos and the value.

Amazing food and quality overall! The fruit-flies ruined a lot of the experience. Trying to enjoy a drink/food with an endless amount of flies buzzing around was not what I paid for

My family and I have been going to this restaurant for almost 25 years. We LOVE this restaurant. They have the best food, customer service and atmosphere. You truly feel like family when you are there, as the owner goes out of his way to ensure that you are truly satisfied. We are going to miss Greek Islands so much when we move, but know that when we are in town that we must make a stop there. Also, if you're wanting to try something new, the Greek Islands Style Schnitzel is so delicious. Highly recommend.

Locally owned. Great service and great food. An excellent menu with all the typical Greek dishes you would expect. Will definitely go back very soon.

Excellent service from entry to exit. The food was some of the best Greek food that I have ever had. The calamari was soooo gooood. The Beef Tegania melted in my mouth. Our entire party enjoyed their meals. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning.

Super disappointed. First take out from this restaurant (have always dined in). Will not order again and unfortunately probably will not return. Potatoes and rice, greasy and under seasoned. Chicken souvlaki dry, green salad basically Greek without dressing and hummus awful (what happened to garlic or any seasoning for that matter?), vegetables undercooked. Three diners all concur, I cannot recommend.

The service is always amazing and so is the food! I'm glad they have added patio to the Abbotsford location because I have missed sitting in. During the pandemic, we've been enjoying the "Platter For 2". It offers a bit of everything which is awesome!

Had a craving for greek and found Greek Islands online, great reviews. Called up and placed an order, owner Yianni is such a sweetheart. Ordered platter for 2, easily allowed a substitution for Prawns with additional fee. The portions were more than enough that there were leftovers of rice, salad, pita and hummus. Yianni even helped me bring the food to my car. Also if you want a good place to enjoy the food outside with a view, go doen the road to Mill Lake Park, it was a lovely date night. Will be back again.

This has got to be the worst tasting calamari I have ever had. Not sure if it was the quality of the calamari or the way it was cooked. There was an overwhelming taste of deep frying oil that needed to be changed ages ago. For a place that prides itself with authentic Greek cuisine, this dish was oceans away from the Greek islands. I had to throw what I didn't manage to eat in the garbage. It was my first time there, it probably will be my last. I ordered there based on the reviews but I am sorry I will have to give a negative review. I gave it two stars because the service was on point.

Beautiful restaurant with creative and decorative dividers to keep everyone vivid safe. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, they make you feel like family. The food is fantastic and the portions are large. I would very much recommend this to all my friends and family.

Great place for Greek food. We tried Kalamari, veg lasagna and Thallasopita. Everything was amazing for great evening with family. We definitely going to try other items on menu in future.

Greek Islands Restaurant is a personal favorite even though a Greek menu is not my first choice. I'm never disappointed with the quality, consistency, or service. In fact, not one to rave about a business, I always comment when leaving about how well they've done.
On the single occasion I'd received a substandard steak, a supplier issue, the owner was immediate in offering remediation even though I had accepted the one I'd been given.
Customers are not always right but I've never seen or heard of an instance the owners didn't personally attend to the customer and do everything possible to send them home satisfied.
As a small business operator myself I strive to give the customer more than they expected, something I don't see much in practice anymore. Greek Islands is the exception. Great place!

This is the best place to go for authentic Greek cuisine! The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are so friendly and the food is AMAZING!

The service was good a bit of a wait for a waitress but they were busy and it was not that long. The Calamari appetiser was a meal on its on very filling and lots of delicious Calamari, The rack of Lamb was the best I have ever eaten. Now the down side. The Tzatziki sauce was a tad on the thick side and lacked a bit of lemon. The Greek salad had only 1 yes one olive in it C'mon who puts one olive in a greek salad really? And the absolute most revolting action was they served my Calamari on a dirty plate, I was not impressed even though they quickly replaced it I am still shocked that a restaurant of this calibre let a plate out of the kitchen with soup stuck to the side of it.

We come to this location when the other on is closed as the other one is closer to us. They treat us so good here. They have these stuffed mushrooms that are UNBELIEVABLE! We usually get the dinner for two which is a great deal. Our service has always been amazing. Highly recommend.

This is my favorite restaurant. We always go to the Langdon location and the service is fantastic. The staff are amazing and the food never lacks. I recommend the lasagna and spanakopita dinner!

Not impressed, thought it would be nice being Valintines day and all. They packed us in like cattle, they had a limited menu, things off their regular menu, and hiked the prices up. The food was just slopped on the plate. The bagged frozen veggies were over cooked, same with the potates. The chicken was dry. Terrible meal! I wont ever go back thats for sure, and anyone who asks I'll definately tell them not to wait their money!

Best quality and tasting Greek food in the lower mainland from Vancouver to Hope! You will not be disappointed by the Greek dressing (BEST EVER) WE BUY BOTTLES OF IT TO TAKE HOME! Prices are a bit high but you get what you pay for and won't leave hungry. My husband and I go here as a treat at least once a month and are never disappointed. Make reservations before you go as they are always packed out the door! Have been going here for years and will keep going indefinitely!

The food is always great! Good wine selection! Service is fast and friendly. Amazing Tzatziki. We were with a group of friends and the Servers were super helpful. Everyone loved their meals and we had a great time. I have been to this restaurant quite a few times over the years and have never been disappointed in the food. Their chicken souvlaki is always delicious and I seem to always leave there with half of my food as their portions are quite big!

Very delicious lamb chops. Their Tazaki is so-so. But their food makes up for it. Fridays it can quite LOUD. Not a romantic spot, but great for a gathering of friends or family.

Went in to get a $70 gift card and was given a $70 gift card. I asked about the additional 10% and was told it’s only on $100 or more. I said the website says $50 or more and the guy said no. Sure enough, on the website it says $50 or more. Not impressed and not a place I’d suggest going to. Quite disappointed.

I had my chicken souvlaki which was really good. I'm crazy about the roasted potatoes. My waitress Nicole L did an excellent job as a waitress, she did everything right making sure that my meal was good and having my water.
If she is working next time, I think I would like to have her as my waitress again.

We went to Greek islands on a Friday night and it probably took about 2 hours for our food to arrive, the food was pretty good but we ordered a dinner for 2 and we had a fair bit of left overs and we asked to take them but we didn’t give us any of our lamb or vegetables for some reason.

20 guest for my husband Birthday dinner tonight. The staff and food as always were excellent. Thank you to Greek Island for making it a great night with family and friends.

We had heard good things about this restaurant.they are all true. The food, service, and atmosphere are all great. My wife and I ordered the Greek Platter for 2; lamb, calamri, spanakopita, chicken, keftedes plus vegetables, tzatziki, humus and pita. We came home with enough food for dinner tomorrow night too. Our waitress, Kim, was very friendly and attentive. Considering the volume and quality of the food, the prices are very reasonable.
