Greek Village Restaurant

I was regular at this place for my favourite food. I went there last night. Food is just bland and portion is too small. We ordered chicken and lamb souvlaki which was total fail cuz the goat was too hard and chewy and it doesn’t taste good anymore. Won’t eat again: (

The service is exceptional though

(Take out order) $17 for 7 pieces of shrimp tastes bland, also ordered calamari, tziki sauce (overpriced for the portion) and pita bread, calamari is also very bland. Overpriced, don't know how they're still in business. Would definitely not recommend for a greek food experience. Also they automatically placed a $10 tip for a appetizer order (above) for 2 people, only thing that was decent was the tziki sauce.shouldve ordered from "my greek taverna" on 152 and 64. Last time we'll be ordering from here again. There's a reason why they're rated 4.3 Ordered June 3rd 2023.

Came here for dinner on a Friday and the place was very busy. Our service was great, no complaints there at all. The food was pretty good but not the best Greek I’ve had by a long shot. Portion sizes are pretty standard. Overall, good experience and I’d eat there again.

A good Greek atmosphere greets you in this restaurant. A healthy portion of food was served, but it wasn't one of the best tasting Greek meals that I've had. They also put on a mandatory tip for a small group of six.

We ordered for pickup. Everything was hot and SO tasty (as usual). The serving sizes are big! (Plenty for the guys and enough for lunches for the next few days for me!) Love this place!

We had a very bad experience. I really felt that we were not welcome there (just because we are brown, not white). There were people entered after us but still got served first. Their order were in the kitchen and we did not even had water yet. I really felt very left out. I am sorry but I was my worst restaurant experience.

Due to BCs new single-use reduction policies, they must charge for paper bags. Remember to bring your own bags for takeout if you have a larger order.

Food was pretty good and takeout service was great.

Service was good but the food was average. Not the same as it was when I went a number of years past. Maybe new ownership or management?

This place has changed. The food had very little flavour and the portions were smaller than I remember. I guess thats why it was empty on a friday evening. I noticed atleast a couple tables were there because The Keg was closed (water main issues) There wasn't any sort of options for children other than ordering them an app. Maybe there never was. Paid $4 for pop and was never offered any refills. The server was nice though.

First and foremost, the service was great. I recognized the lady that served us from the last time we where here and that was almost 5 years ago. I know that management have changed and I am glad they kept most of their staff. She made it a point to go around to all the tables and took the time to actually talk to everyone. Most restaurants nowadays you'll never see the waitress again once they have taken your order.
The food, on the other hand was a bit of a let down. The ribs were dry and bland, and the lamb was inconsistence. Some pieces were perfectly cooked while other were overcooked and very tough.

This restaurant has been around as long as I can remember. Delta side of Surrey, North Delta border.

Grew up in N. Delta. Had been several times back in the day.
They even had belly dancers

Been at least 20 years since I went back the other day. Same great little restaurant & delicious food.
Excellent staff & service

We got 2 beef souvlakis for take-out spent 55.00 on the 2 orders and the portions were very small and very disappointing for the money we spent.

Have lived in surrey all my life and have been coming to this restaurant for years. Food and service have always been excellent. We have been here for birthdays, family get togethers, and have ordered take out many times also. The staff here really seem to care, there's even one of their waitresses that always remembers my mom's favorite which is mousakka (delicious). Always a wonderful experience, highly recommend this place, don't go anywhere else for greek food!

One of the best greek restaurants in town. Large portions and delicious food that is cooked perfectly every time. Highly getting the calamari, roast lamb, or beef souvlaki!

However, customer service is inconsistent - hit or miss with every visit.
