Tried a laser hair removal package (6 sessions) a few years ago and didn’t see even 1% hair reduction!

Ill share my experience and a warning. I have been going for about a year doing their ineffective laser treatment. Today an incredibly rude old lady was working there giving attitude right off the bat. I waited over 10 minutes in the room before going back out to inquire about the hold up. I was met with a loud voice angrily asking me to go back in which I refused. She then said i need to reschedule or she’ll call security. Unbelievably neurotic and seemingly unstable. In general the attitude of workers there is hostile but this has to be one of the strangest incidents ive dealt with in any professional place. Clear signs of mental illness there.

I have been going to this place for over a year to get waxing done with Lena.
First time I found out about this place was through Groupon.
Lena is very fast and thorough and the price is reasonable.
I also had Elvira do waxing for me and she was good too.
I tried IPL here once as well, that was also a Groupon promotion

I’d like to share my experience recently I had at “Green leaf medi spa”.
My friend gifted me a certificate. The lady from the clinic called me so I booked my appointment. I was rushing in to my appointment and by accident ended up at mentioned above clinic. The receptionist was annoyed right away since she was not able to find my appointment when asked me to show email confirmation. I opened email and realized I’m at the wrong clinic. I apologized for inconvenience and mistake I have made and hurried to leave. The response was shortly after I left the door barely closed behind me, frankly was shocking. She made an inappropriate comments towards my mistake, laughing loudly and in general was rude. The clients in the waiting room were clearly surprised by the co-owners reaction on such a simple mistake. I can’t believe what kind of services she provides interacting with customers if she is so rude to who is not and won’t be after that greeting. I believe what’s inside is coming out and being so bitter and annoyed in the middle of the day, she does spilling that negativity to the clients.
In my opinion the spa should bring joy and happiness. My feedback for others to share my experience not as a client but accidentally interacted with bitterness, rudeness and unprofessional behaviour. Be aware.

I got laser hair removal for lip and chin, 6 sessions on groupon. The technicians were inconsistent. The 1st session, the lady took very little time and covered very little of the areas. The 2nd was better. The 3rd I told her I hadn't noticed a difference and it was very painful but felt this was necessary to get rid of the hair. The 4th session didn't hurt much and also took little time to cover all areas. I booked my 5th session and had to cancel the day before as my work shift had changed. They sent back a polite email thanking them for letting them know. They however are not replying to my emails now. I am supposed to have 2 more sessions. The sessions would probably be a waste of time now as it's been too long since the last session. Would not recommend for laser hair removal.

Avoid for waxing - I have burns and raw lifted skin - areas were okay waxed repeatedly (like 10+ times) with burning wax - stray hairs were just waxed over and over again or plucked with fingers (not tweezers?) - really do avoid at all costs

SCAM! They advertise laser hair removal but they use IPL which is NOT a laser. Please educate yourselves if you want laser hair removal. Go to clinics that use a Diode Laser, Alexandrite, or YAG: Nd if you have darker skin. I spent $1400 here 0 reduction in hair. You pay for what you get, if it sounds too good to be true IT PROBABLY IS. Please don’t make my same mistake. It is intense pulsed light (IPL) NOT laser. Big difference.compared to laser hair removal, IPL uses a broad spectrum of light with multiple wavelengths. The Diode laser uses an only a single spectrum of light and the IPL uses multiple wavelengths that means IPL is weaker than the Laser because your hair follicle does absorb all the heat.the energy is scattered meaning more sessions are required compared to a diode laser which works wayyy more efficiently.

The owner is going to try to come at me for this but it is the truth and is backed by science.

Real laser hair removal allows you to space out treatments 6-8 apart so your hairs are in their anagen phase. This place scolds people who leave reviews for waiting too long in between sessions. They are incorrect and performing sessions even 16 weeks apart will still thin your hair. Not leave you patchy.

Even if you do not believe me, saying you have laser hair removal is false advertising IPL is not a laser and that you simply cannot deny. If you have nothing to hide why are you false advertising? It’s like saying I do botox and then giving you fillers.

The ladies here are so incredibly sweet and patient! They always maintain a clean and professional environment all while making you feel so comfortable there. Could not recommend them more!

THIS IS HANDS DOWN the best MEDI SPA GEM IN VANCOUVER AND AREA! I have attended this spa on 4 occasions and the service is the BEST I have ever received and I am very particular. Elvira is exceptional and beyond professional. She truly knows her stuff! So savy and simply LOVELY! I would highly highly recommend this spa for anything! It is the best in North America and I have attended MANY over the past 20 years. Top shelf in results and professionalism.

Sofie did a great job today on my Diamond Hyrdrafacial with Oxygen Infusion with Face+ Neck Lift Dermal Collagen I purchased on Groupon.

Sofie was warm and personable, I enjoyed the massage, and my skin looks soo refreshed, smooth and glowy!

I've had a buildup of congestion and rougher, dull-ish texture beginning to set in as it had been a year since my last professional skin treatment and this REALLY helped.

I will be looking into microneedling with Sofie as I've heard nothing but amazing things about this treatment in general, and I appreciate how comfortable and welcomed I felt when I came in today.

The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was that the lady booking me in sounded rather inconvenienced and. I'll leave it at that. I do appreciate her squeezing me in the day after I called to fit in with my schedule.but tone of voice is quite apparent on the phone.

Did a couple of treatments here before. All was well. Bought hundreds of dollars worth of credits here before COVID-19. I didn't know they closed temporarily until I showed up to my appointment to a closed door. No calls, no emails. I know that businesses are trying hard to stay afloat, but with the inflation, customers are too.
After they reopened, I called regarding my credits. They simply responded with a "they're expired" and that was the end of my experience with this clinic.

I bought a groupon for laser and after 6 sessions I still have the same amount of hair I had before. Don't waste your money there in laser at least!
Staff seemed stress but once the treatment begin they were nice. Some of them not too professional but average.

Asked me what session (of laser) I was on as they couldn’t keep track, I was continuously confused with another client thus not receiving the correct amount off 1. Laser sessions 2.laser level.
After about 4 sessions (months) and about half way though my treatment I was told laser doesn’t work for my hair color….
I now avoid anything associated with Groupon.

Response to owner; last time I shared my experience, I was confused with another customer and send an abusive email from staff.

Would 100% recommend. Booking was super easy, lady at the reception was friendly and the lady that did my facial was absolutely amazing! She was very polite and informative. My skin feel so hydrated and glowy!

Asked by email if they do a specified service for men. Was told that yes in fact they and to book a consult. They booked me in the next day and sounded like it would be great. Till I arrived; and was told by a shocked woman that they don’t do that service. Wasted two hours of my day coming and and wasted my money coming downtown. Gained a start back as the woman at the front was helpful with directing me to find a place that will do the service for my hair colour

I stumbled upon this place on Groupon and have been a client for many years, although haven't been there since the pandemic started. The staff were great from day one, but the more I visited, the friendlier they got as I was able to build rapport with them. Over the years they have had some staff come and go, but Maryam and Lena have been there pretty much since day one! I don't know how they manage to keep their prices so low, but I'm honestly super grateful that they do as it has allowed me to have treatments that I would otherwise be unable to afford.

Booked a Brazilian wax here and confirmed via email the appointment time. Upon arrival they got into an argument with me that they were full and was told to come back later. I showed them the confirmation and they begrudgingly told me to wait for a room.

The room itself had no place to put my jacket or other belongings. The floor was filthy with wooden sticks and wax papers. They also only gave me about a minute to change down and opened the door without knocking - anyone in the waiting area could’ve seen me half naked!

I left with wax still on my skin which was super uncomfortable. Wouldn’t recommend as service and cleanliness were concerning.

I have never been treated like this in Vancouver. Absolutely terrible experience. The receptionist Lena was extremely aggressive because I asked her not to touch my phone. She proceeded to imitated me and use a very aggressive tone. I highly discouraged you to visit this place. It is run by a very aggressive and bitter Russian lady who makes you feel very unwelcomed. She did not sanitize their hands or the machines. Absolutely zero stars. Will never come back to such a hostile environment.

Ask for Olga! Olga helped me clear my acne, and I used to have really painful acne and my skin is clear now and the scars are fading incredibly fast with each facial. Olga is my favourite because she is motherly, super sweet, has gentle hands, and is really knowledgeable. She also always goes above and beyond in every session and makes sure I am feeling okay and do not feel any discomfort.

Microneedling:
My skin is so smooth now and a day after microneedling, I already noticed my acne scars were much lighter because I couldn't see them when I video called with other people and in pictures. Really stubborn scars also peeled away within weeks after the session too!
I just did my second session and I can't wait to see the results.

Ive had several services done here including waxing, ipl and intimate whitening. Really great staff, professional, and nice cute location!

I went to this clinic for IPL. Some girls did the job and didn't burn my face, but the woman I post also a picture burn my face twice.she goes over your face like 3-4 repeatedly on the same area until burn the skin. She even told me need to be hot to be effective. The first time She burn my face I thought was part of the treatment. My skin felt so bad couldn't even touch it.but this second time she burn my face I went to another clinic to check what happened. And what she did was wrong. Obviously burn my face letting my skin scars and the pigmentation looking horrible. I email them for an explanation or help about it. And they totally ignored me.
No I have to live with marks on my face just for trust this woman that Obviously doesn't care if you are in pain or getting burned. Not professional at all. I asked even the other girls they suppose to pass the laser once only. Be really careful who you trust your face. I was so ignorant I trust this clinic and my face got damage. It very sad go to this clinic to get better skin and they ignore you if they do mistakes.

Go with a professional. Pay more but worth it. They have low prices but I totally regret I went there.even they own me 3 hair removal laser. I dont even want to go back. So upset to see these people unprofessional

I bought a package from groupon, reception is horrible. Laser job makes it worst than before and the appointment are horrible u book at 1 pm they serve you at 2

The lady at the front desk who is also the technician is super sweet, nice, and hard working. They are professional who do a clean job when it comes to waxing. I always come back to them for spa treatments. The price is reasonable too.

The customer service is fast and efficient. I've been going to Green Leaf Medi Spa for over 2+ years, and I have had great results!

I recommend going here and using Groupon if you're a first time customer:)

I love this busy medi spa! It's beautiful and stark clean, treatment prices are very affordable, and Maryam and Elena are amazing aestheticians who always make sure my skin gets the best treatment.

I have done a few IPL facials at this spa. It is clean, bright and lovely! They apply a facial mask at the end, which is so relaxing. I am starting to see some reduction in pigmentation, and am happy with the results.

I finished my 6 months laser sessions and after a couple months the hair was back as before the treatment. I also got some dark pigmentation on my armpits and upper lip. I told the manager about the situation, but she is so rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. She didnt show any care towards me. Her atattitude is always awful, you can tell how unhappy she is doing her job since the first time you talk to her. I dont recommend this place at all. No good results and bad service from the manager

I have had nothing but great service from all the girls but my go to person is Maryam she explains things and is patient.

I've been going to Green Leaf Medi Spa for a number of years. Their service has always been excellent! Today I had a hydra facial there for the first time and the results were fantastic. I highly recommend Green Leaf and it's always nice to be able to support a small, local, woman-owned company.

I don't like to to write negative reviews but I was super disappointed when i bought the Groupon Brazilian laser treatment early in the year only to find out after that the bikini line isn't included in the treatment and you had to pay extra to get this added. It doesn't even make sense that the bikini line wouldn't be included. Also was offered a special price for a IPL treatment which I ended up getting and then they never took my make up off properly before they did the treatment which is a big no-no when your getting any kind of facial treatment as your pores are open and exposed. I would have washed me face myself I had known. Never would go back here.

I had a pleasant experience at medispa but when it came to the payment part, something seemed off. I just want to clarify with any of you who bought the Groupon, did you pay anything extra at the site? Please let me know:)

Overall good experience, first time trying IPL and the lady seemed professional and reassuring when I told her I was scared. The process has been so far so good (noticed a few sun spots lightened already), and will be going back for a future appointment!

Best Brazilian in Vancouver and lower mainland! I have been to many places and have been visiting Green Leaf Spa for years. LENA is amazing. The office might use a little updating, but what really matters is the quality of service offered at a REASONABLE price, it’s hard to find a top quality Brazilian wax under 50 dollars ANYWHERE. It is the least painful wax I have experienced EVER. Thorough, without making you feel embarrassed by asking them to wax your butt crack as well polite and respectful staff. I travel from Chilliwack to Green Leaf Spa, and will continue to do so for my Brazilian wax.

I have so far completed 3 laser hair treatments at this spa. I find each appointment to be very efficient and the technician always makes sure that she has covered the treatment area properly. They are nice and make you feel comfortable, which I appreciate. I am already seeing great results with their service!

Green leaf medi Spa has been the only place in Vancouver that I can trust when it comes to cosmetology and beauty services. Amazing customer service as well as reasonable price for the services that they provide. Highly recommend if you are looking for a way to relax and take care of your beauty needs.

I would have left more stars but have had a few problems here in the past. I'll leave the rest out for now though. Recently really disappointed I only got half my last session done today. Would have taken 5-10mins to finish but they could spare that at 2: 57pm on a Saturday. Instead they want me to drive back out from Mission. For what would have been my last session in my package. If you ask me that's not good business.

Their facility is clean, bright and smells fresh! The staff is very pleasant!
They may not have the best English, so as you can see from other reviews people take it as rude. In my opinion, there is just a slight language barrier. They work fast and get down to business. I like that. I love getting in and out within 10-15 mins. I've seen results with their laser hair removal on both my arm pits and brazillian. The price is ridiculously cheap, and worth it. 85$ for 6 sessions! Hello! Also, something I was very pleased about, I had bought a Groupon from them almost 2 years ago, became pregnant and had to stop treatment (only 1 session completed). They had no problem honoring it, and re found my file. Now, I have almost completed both treatments with results I am happy about.

The ladies are very pleasant and gentle. The wait isn't long when you arrive for your appointment.

I purchased 1 year unlimited laser hair removal package and it did not work AT ALL.
I see absolutely no difference after 1 year (about 6-7 sessions) and few years later my bikini area is still hairy just like it used to be.
Sessions are very quick and rushed, and the ladies were not very friendly at all.

I have fair skin and dark hair so laser hair removal works very well on me.
When I did underarm at other place I immeditely saw result after 1 session. After 3 session there was no need to go anymore because hair did not grow at all but I went anyway (because I already paid for unlimited 1 year there as well).
I still have no underarm hair after 3 years. I think I will go back there.

I just didnt use all my groupon treatments because people working in that spa were arrogant and rude. There was a technician who seems to be nice.but she didnt cover all the areas she supposed to. If she happened to miss a spot.she did not do it.just went on
