Greenacres Golf Course

I've been playing Greenacres in Richmond for quite a number of years. It's a flat course with a number of fairways that have severe doglegs. Tree-lined and narrow. They used to have a lot more trees but cut quite a few down to speed up play. What I really don't like is a lot of times you don't get a decent lie because the fairways are patchy or dips in the ground. In the fall, lots of leaves fall, so it gets hard to find your ball. The best part of this course is the greens. They're well maintained, so they're nice to put on. Greenacres is cheaper than the other courses, but it's not as nice. It has 3 stalls to practice hitting and has a chipping and putting greens. Like all courses, it has a restaurant. It's too bad you have to go to the clubhouse if you want food after the ninth hole.

Very rude and hostile staff you have! We were grouped with two other people and they wanted to separate in the middle of the course which is against the rules. However, staff came and yelled at my family without asking us for the situation at all? ! When I try to explain, he tells me to shush? ! Zero respect, straight up pointing his fingers at us and telling us to either get out or group with the two again. Please come to this course if you want to be silenced and belittled by some bigots.

Our group of 25 had pre-made arrangements and also let them know our choices in their menu. STILL the food came out very late and disorganized. Wait staff was ok but kitchen prep NOT good.
Quite disappointed.

This is a great golf course in Richmond. It’s reasonably priced and great condition. Overall really good value and very friendly staff. I organized a small tournament here this past summer and everyone had a really good time.

I golfed at Greenacres yesterday and had fantastic experience. Tried to get back to golfing and last time I golfed there was 20 years ago. The course was well maintained. Staffs at the pro shop and the Marshall are very friendly. The green fee is reasonable. I strongly recommend this course. Well done.

Flat and a bit monotonous
It's not that it's not well maintained, but it seems that only the greens are well maintained.
The greens are just dirt.

Gets the job done. Its not a bad course - is pretty comparable to Carnoustie in terms of quality/conditions, which I'd put below courses like Langara, Tsawwassen Springs, etc.

Track is in good condition. Decent shape. On hot days there’s a guy goin around with cold water. Honestly one of the most reasonably priced courses around.

Boasts as Richmond’s only 18 hole course but it’s simply too small, with narrow fairways and shared roughs, and in combination of new players equating to myself getting hit right on my head by another party. Staff advised there were more than a dozen people getting hit in the last two weeks. Didn’t see any marshals either

My wife and I played yesterday. Course was in good shape. Pace of play was good and Marshall's on the course, even carrying coolers of cold water to refill our bottles. That was very much appreciated. Greens were good. Average in speed and in good shape. We will definitely play more this season.

My go-to golf range in the evening. Open until 10pm and the bays are heated in the winter.

Great course. Well kept, simple-perfect for the beginner golfer. Managed to shoot low 80s for the first time here.

Good course to get back into your summer swing. Well kept greens, open and flat, you'll keep most of your balls. Lots of walking, sometimes slower pace as gets busy on weekends. Very reasonably priced.

Horrible value. Overpriced and the pro shop employee is extremely rude. Would not recommend
