Rude, lacks understanding, know-it-all. Grunts at you when he comes into the room then sits in front of his computer and ignores you what you say to him. Been waiting 8 months for a simple procedure. After several emails, still no procedure. I could have died waiting for them. Now I find out he's leaving in August and hasn't even told his patients to start looking.

I work in the care industry so usually I am a lot more sympathetic, but the experience I had today was so disappointing I feel like I have a responsibility to make it common knowledge.

Disclosure - I have been a patient here for 12 years. My entire family were all at one point patients but I believe I was the last of 2 still attending due to poor experiences so I guess it was overdue. Dr Greyling referred me to a specialist. I paid a $300 consultation fee with the specialist and received a recommendation for medication. I scheduled a follow up with Dr Greyling. She didn’t seem to know what I was discussing when I first walked in. I don’t even think she’d looked at the report the specialist had forwarded her. She started asking me who I’d seen (? It was on the report? I had a copy as well and can confirm, plus SHE had referred me to them?), and then she said “ok I’ll have to talk with them and get back to you with a recommendation. ” The recommendation and medication specifically (including dosage) was in the report. I had been told that all I needed to do was take the consultation report to my GP, and they could prescribe the medication. When I was trying to explain this, she started to cut me off and asking “Why are you upset? Why are you being so angry? ” (For the record, I am wayyyy to anxious to raise my voice and I don’t cuss. I was visibly cross, however). I explained I was disappointed I had paid a $300 fee to see a specialist she’d recommended, booked my follow up to get my meds only to find out that she hadn’t talked to them/looked at the consult ahead of time so it would be more of a wait (it’s already been a 3 month process to see her, fill out her questionnaire, schedule with the specialist, get the reports back from the specialist), it was frustrating. She proceeded to start to tell me “everyone thinks that they’re more important than everyone else, my next patient after you has cancer, that’s a real problem. Why don’t you go to a walk in. ” And then she walked out. I DID go to a walk in and get my medication, but sheesh. Why even enter the medical industry if that is the attitude to people who come to you for help?

The receptionists have always been nice for the record. I just don’t think Dr. Greyling has the empathy and care needed to treat every patient. Or maybe she’s got too many and was deliberately doing some “thinning” and I didn’t make the cut. But maybe if you have cancer she will take you more seriously.

Very rude and unprofessional. Will refuse to serve transgender patients and tell them to go elsewhere, even if the ailment is unrelated to transition. She will actively urge trans patients to stop transitioning, and will gaslight people about the treatment they receive from other care providers. A complaint will be sent to the college, as well as to the human rights tribunal. If she does not get with the program, she should not be practicing.

This doctor WILL NOT listen to her patients. Even if this is the last available doctor…do not go!

Rude. Unprofessional. Does not care about your health or issues at all. She will walk out the door as you are talking to her and she is usually 40 minutes late. Dr. Greyling is the worst doctor I've ever been to. I am honestly shocked as to how she has patients. Driving out of town for a new doctor was worthit.

Dr Greyling is the worst Dr in town. Only cares about vanity issues and her vacation time. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
