They served 20 people first before me.they put me to the last.the food not even tasty not worth.

$8.50 for a Beef Brisket Noodle Soup, including a drink, is a real bargain. Nowhere else offers anything close to this price point. It's definitely very cheap but not necessarily good. We can not figure out what type of noodle it is. It's unlike what we are used to for a Hong Kong style noodle. The noodle's texture is horrible. Anyway, expect very long lineup at any time of the day, especially during lunch or supper.

I've been there a few more times trying different selections. I think I originally gave it too much credit than it deserved. The "Stir Fried Flat Noodles with Sliced Beef 乾炒牛河" has got to be the worst I've ever tasted in my life. Flunk cooking this dish, you lose all credibility as it is the most basic dish a chef must aced cooking & preparing. It's like you, a regular Joe, screwing up fried egg. BTW, it wasn't so busy when I ordered it, so no excuses there! Once, some of the beef were 75% raw. The other time, the noodles were extremely soggy it's unedible!

The "Crispy Fish Fillet" in the "Make Your Own Combo" is anything but crispy it's embarrassing. And the "Sirloin Steak" is actually a sirloin fillet I kid you not!

However, something they consistently did right is the Hot Hong Kong Milk Tea 港式奶茶 and the hot coffee. Both are unusually good. Tried a handful of Chinese noodle restaurants, and their instant coffee were simply horrible. Grill King's are better than most. Not great, but quite good, in fact.

Anyway, 2-stars.

This place definitely violates sanitary/health protocols. The drink I've got smells really funny. I would never go back to this place.

The price is good but the staff is really rude! Also, the HK style milk tea is not good enough!

An unassuming spot for tasty Hong Kong comfort food. The lineup is always long but the service is very fast. The food is delicious, and the pineapple bun was one of the best I’ve ever eaten.

Cheap breakfast for $7.50! Eggs made to order, tender chicken steak with noodles. Noodles were a little salty. Came with a hot drink. At the Lansdowne Mall with seniors exercising daily early morning.

I ordered the "Make your own combo" with 2 choices of meat, pork chop and chicken steak. The portion is decent and the food is good. It just comfort food. The plate comes with drink for $13. It's consider inexpensive meal. It also come with your choice of sauce and you xan pick either with spaghetti or rice. I picked the mushroom sauce which I don't recommend it. I think it is better off with black pepper sauce. I will definitely come back again for the combo.

My go to place at this food court.decent priced and portions are good. I've been a customer there for years now

Short haired woman (owner) has such a trash attitude. Acts like customers owe her for ordering food. Asked for an additional pair of chopstick and she proceeded to throw a pair onto the table.

I guess it’s hard to have some courtesy when you look like a dog

This place is as disorganized in the front as it is in the back.

Expect to wait 30 minutes and more for your food.

Used to be good but now its slow and unorganized the guy on the grill looks like he wants to be anywhere else but there. That's the last time I eat there. Many better options.

It doesn't get more affordable when it comes to breakfast than Grill King. Food is good, I need to come back and try the rest of the menu besides breakfast.

They start by 08.00 Monday till Friday. Fast in order execution at reasonable price. Quality, acceptable. Really good for a quick breakfast, Hong Kong style.

Pros: I ordered a MAKE YOUR OWN COMBO with chicken steak and beef steak with spaghetti on black pepper sauce. Good portion, okay meal and cheap price.

Cons: Their baked seafood on rice with cream sauce is pretty mediocre.

Be ware, Please don’t go.it will take more than 30 min to get your food. Also, they will server your good in random order. The experience is a nightmare.

We always miss the HK style milk tea whenever we hit Richmond and it is very temped to drop by the restaurant to grab a cup of milk tea to cure home sickness. I believe this may not be the best HK milk tea in town but definitely the best value for money choice.

The milk was insanely good and the food was great, too! The prices were cheap, but it was way too crowded.

Ordered an all day breakfast. The chef grills the steak and the eggs on a grilling panel in front of you. This demonstrates that the chef is full of confidence in handling food before the customers.

The steak is soft and tasty. The iced Hong Kong style milk tea is silky and not too sweet. Not too much ice is put into the cup so that you can really enjoy a big cup of milk tea.

The quantity of food is just fit so that there will not be any waste.

The staff is diligent, polite and welcoming. Although it is a fast food shop in a shopping mall's food court, your merry feeling from interacting with them will not subside fast.

All their below-eight-dollar items are cheap Hong Kong breakfast dishes, not full-sized meals, just keep that in mind when you’re looking for lunch or dinner.
The free drinks on the side are above average in terms of quantity and quality.

Not sure how long it’s been here but those who enjoys Hong Kong breakfast needs to be here! Frankly doesn’t take much to impress me but doesn’t take much to make Hong king breakfast either. They do a good job! Opens at 8am during weekdays too!

Wasn’t impressed with this place at all. Food didn’t seem fresh at all. Service wasn’t too pleasant either. Based on other food that is within walking distance, I would go elsewhere. Will not be back.
