Unfortunately after 3 years I'm changing my review. Used to be the best tacos in Vancouver but not now. Not sure why but they got rid of their two best tacos they had! Still like the place and love the delicious bucket of Margarita

Only reason this place gets 3 stars is because the last time I was there, I had a server I had never had before, and we waited 15-20 minutes average for her to come around to order more food or drinks. The service was so slow and frustrating to the point we didn’t even order our mains because we had been there for 30 minutes and had only managed to order nachos and 1 round of beers. It seemed she was too busy socializing on the busier side of the restaurant.

I otherwise love this place! Have been going since I discovered it last year. I typically have a great experience each time with other staff, this last time was unfortunately horrible.

If you go nowhere else to eat, stop here. Tacos are great and the price is really good. The bowl my husband got was fantastic too. The service and atmosphere were both great. The hot sauce that is the most spicy is perfect. Will come back!

Very bad service. We got there and one of their servers told us to wait outside.
A couple came after us and were waiting outside and another server asked them to come inside. When we told that server we had been waiting before them she just ignored us and when we told her we were leaving she didn’t seem to care.

Very bad odour inside the place as well that turned us away

Tanner is the best server I have had in my life. His energy and gusto is infectious.

We wandered into the alley and we were so close to turning back but thankfully we went and stood in the queue. It was well worth it. Best tacos we've ever had and what a great place to hang out. Very friendly chaps running the place and some great chill music.

Great tacos, decent (and cheap) beer, fun ambience! I've been back a few times since a restaurant like this is such a novelty.

Pretty cool place! We had this place marked as to go for a while and decided to give it a shot today. I was a bit discouraged when I walked in the alley to get there but we went in anyway and I’m happy we did! The place has special ambiance, you feel like you’re eating by the beach. The food was pretty good too. We’ll be back!

Id suggest entering the alley from Carrall, not Abbott.

This place is lit, and my kind of place open late night and after party snack is good, way to go gringos

Absolutely love this place. Tucked away in an alley near Watwr Street in the historic Gastown. Cats with frickin lazer eyes and the best tasting tacos in town. Tasty lager or pale ale on tap. Be sure to measure your priorities in life and make your way to taste bud heaven. Top quality meats. The purveyor of this establishment certainly loves what he does, it shows!

I came here late at night since I live do close, so far the experience has been amazing. Lots of happy people, having a great time at a location that may be unknown to some people. Blood alley restaurants need to be checked out.

Thought I'd check out the best rated taco spot in Vancouver so I came to give it a try, and the good reviews didn't disappoint. I was blown away by the rich authentic flavor of the pork tacos which I highly recommend. With a delicious side of chips and salsa and a cold beer brings it over the top. Definitely check out this place! It is a small shop so at busy times you will have to wait, but don't let that stop you from having some amazing tacos! Would recommend go and get some now!

The taco's were great tasting but way too over priced for the size of the tacos. The size of the tacos are akin to if you were to make an "O" with your index finger and your thumb.

This is such a cool spot. Reasonably priced food and beer. Great vibes. Their brisket tacos (Austin) are the must have. The roasted chicken tacos are very good as well. Friendly staff with great service
