Excellent service! Brought my car in to get the engine checked, they fixed her up and even vacuumed and cleaned the outside of my car, wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I went here to replace my headlight (electrical for my Toyota Camry) since it was burnt out. The experience was fabulous and organized. I really appreciate the easy booking system, set appointment time, and confirmation text prior to the appointment. They replaced my headlight and even washed my car and vacuumed the interior! Such an amazing perk, my car definitely needed it. I’ll continue going here for any of my car needs!

Found this place thru another shop. Spoke with Steve and I must say I've never experienced such genuine customer service over the phone and work in my life. Steve went above and beyond on many occasions and did everything he could to make sure I was happy with the tires in my tesla. I highly recommend this shop to anyone getting tires or servicing!

After looking at my tire to first see if it could be repaired (which it couldn’t), GRIP ordered me a new tire and installed it on my rim. I then came in the next day and they replaced my spare with the new tire and I was in and out in less than 30 mins. They were very professional and pricing was competitive. I will be back.

No Mechanic has ever made me felt so at ease during a difficult time. I was really freaking out when my car started to shake uncontrollably. They went above & beyond to make sure my vehicle was fixed properly. I was not charged any extra fees for bringing an import for service. The labour cost was beyond reasonable and the courtesy car that was offered was the icing on the cake. I recommend these guys for everything.

One of my tires was losing air and they removed a screw, fixed the tire, checked the other tires and last but not least they vacuumed my vehicle!

The waiting area is comfortable, the coffee is good, the staff are friendly and the price is right.

Waited 3 hours on site to get a quote of $4000 to change my rear differential when in fact they just needed to change the 4 seals that was leaking. Which was do e by another shop for less than $1000.
They may be good at putting tires on but not a car repair shop.
I felt they had no idea what the problem was, how to quote it and deal with it with the customer in mind.

It’s great to have an automotive place that you can trust and they know you. I always find they communicate clearly, take time to explain the work and just care about you. Consistently top notch-plus they give your car a mini detailing even with an oil change!

I have a y model Tesla therefore any kind of purchase of tires or repairs is extremely difficult. I went to a few places 8 to be exact with a flat tire they all denied any possibility of a repair for the flat. However Jordan and Steve definitely saved me a few big bucks 3000$ to be exact and that’s why I will be buying all my winter tire needs from them. Try them out on St. John’s.great group of guys

Thankfully my dealership didn’t have the time to put snow tires on my vehicle, or I never would have discovered the guys down at GRiP. They were very communicative every step of the way, gave me options and did what I asked in a few days. I am so happy with how the new tires look and feel. I appreciate the care taken with my tires and thought the vacuuming was a nice touch! They also are just great guys with a sense of humour and that goes far with me. Great neighbourhood business! We recently needed to have our vehicle looked at and inspected immediately due to a distressing noise the engine was making. Lee and the team at GRiP were exceptional at ensuring we were supported, our vehicle was seen (as soon as they could, without over committing to a timeline, which was much appreciated) and all info shared both verbally, and in written format.
While our outcome isn't what we hoped for - the team at GRiP did a great job - and even washed our vehicle, changed the oil (paid service) and then documented all other work recommended. There was never an upsell, and they took the time to ensure that I had a clear understanding of what was happening and what the issues were. We would happily come back to support this local business and it's team!

The professionals at Gr! P are efficient, knowledgeable and fair. They never suggest unnecessary repairs or maintenance. If there is a problem with a repair, they quickly snd effectively rectify the issue. They are my reliable first choice for VIP service.

I would not hesitate to recommend Grip Tire. The work and warranty are superior. The service is friendly and efficient. They went beyond the standard service to help me with my brake job and also to sort out a warranty issue with another car that I had the brakes done on from another business! Hate to post this as the guys were friendly, but there were a couple of issues worthy of a relatively poor review. Summary: no call backs for updates, didn’t keep to scheduled appointment times, did a replacement job they thought would work but ultimately did not work, and left me with a $650 bill for a vehicle that is no better off than the when I brought it to them. Friendly guys who seem knowledgeable and likely can do routine jobs very well, but I have to note that my job (camshaft position sensor issue on a jeep) was too much money for too little result.

Firstly I brought the vehicle in on a Friday for my appointment, and didn’t hear back at all. I called them later in the day to follow up, at which point they did the diagnostic I required right at the end of the day.

They were good enough to allow me take the vehicle home that day without paying, which was a great sign of trust on their part that I appreciated. However, we agreed I could bring my vehicle back on Monday first thing to get the actual job done.

I drop it off again Monday for the work, don’t hear from them again all day. Call back end of day, they do closer inspection and believe camshaft position sensor replacement will do the trick. They do the job Tuesday. Don’t call me again until Tuesday end of day, and while they did get the job done, it actually didn’t resolve the problem. They say the sensor was covered in oil (I couldn’t see any evidence of it, even the photos sent to me it does not appear unfit). They consult the schematics and conclude it might be an issue with the pcm computer, which they can’t operate on as only Jeep can.

I am charged full price for the job, which I can understand and paid in full because I am sure it took a few hours of work by their service technician and mechanics deserve to be paid for their time.

However, as you can expect, I am disappointed with the outcome and feel like my job was delayed due to the difficulty in diagnosing the issue, and ultimately a job was done just for the sake doing one and getting paid for something. Hopefully the guys understand why I’m giving this review.

Edit: went to a dealership. It was a loose wiring/bad connection issue.

We had our snow tires changed over by GripTire. The next day we had the tire warning light go on. We contacted the tire shop to deal with it. They said they couldn’t possibly fit us in until after 3: 00 the next day and we probably needed new sensors installed. Unfortunately we were unable to get the car there then. We tried to take it in on Saturday and they were closed. We decided we couldn’t wait until Monday so we took it to our dealership instead. They checked and found that Grip Tire hadn’t reset the sensors after the tire change. We didn’t need new sensors.
What upsets me is the fact we emailed Grip Tire and never got a response. After a week I texted them and was only thanked for my feedback. No apology for not completing the job they were paid for. Very disappointing.

Courtesy Cars on offer, roadside assistance, great location, great local knowledge including a complementary tourist map of the local area that can turn a routine tire or mechanical service into a nice afternoon! They serve the community well alongside running their business. Very impressive operation.

Had an excellent experience with Lee at Grip Tire & Auto.stopped by without any notice as an error light appeared on my dash for my tires. I was mildly panicking it was a flat tire or something more dramatic, however it was just an air pressure issue. He had his team help me right away at no cost, even though I hadn't actually purchased my tires from there. I would definitely go back to this location if I need anything in the future. This place is great and I will definitely return. I thought I had a screw in my tire, they fit me in and checked it out. Turned out it may have been a rock and nothing was wrong. There was no charge even though they spent some time on it AND they vacuumed my car! Very impressed.

They were able to get me in quickly for a tire repair, did great job and were very friendly and explained everything. Cost was reasonable. Will definitely go back here vs some of the bigger chains around.

Do not spend your hard earned money here. These guys mark up on parts can be 200% -300%. I questioned Lee about it and he said he would get back to me. That was a month ago. Hourly labor rates no problem. Mechanics should be well paid. Mark up on parts is a complete rip off. Change name to RIP Auto as in Rip off.

Don't normally post a review unless I have an extraordinary experience. This is the third time I have been at Grip Tire, and definitely will come back again. Besides being professional, and providing a quality service, they are ethical, you can tell they prioritize on the service before the dollars. I am sure the whole crew is great, but have only really treated with Lee, whom has been fantastic every time. So, if you are looking for an honest, well-done shop for your tires/services/repairs, don't hesitate to visit Grip Tire!

Great bunch of guys! We got a flat on the day of our trip to the Okanagan and they took us in right away and repaired our tire for free! They also shined the tires and vacuumed our car. An amazing experience. Will be back for sure!

I really enjoyed and appreciate how I got treated. So I am writing this review about my visit to this place. The warning light on the BMW car turned on while driving. It was scary because we thought to fix it, it will cost a lot of money. But John Lee, Korean worker who works for Toyota, said it is not a big problem. We visited Auto Tire for the first time last Friday. The service advisor checked the tire pressure. There was no big problem. But for safety, he told me to come and check the tire air on Tuesday. We made a total of 3 visits on Tuesday and today which is Wednesday to remove and check the tires, but he didn't charge me. Thank you for checking it out every time we go. Else where, repairing a flat BMW tire was expensive. By the way, he said car tires are under $45. He gave me the cheapest, kindest and best service. We will end the service next time. If you have a flat or have to change your tire, you should definitely visit Auto Tire. Because they were kind and very sincere. My daughter helped me translate because I couldn't speak English well.

Came in for a tire repair. These folks were very friendly, fair priced and went above and beyond to make sure I got back onto the road safely.

Great, knowledgeable people doing a great job. Went in for an oil change and got a free vehicle service overview. They found some things that I wasn't aware of and their report came complete with photos of the things they found. At the end of the process they washed and vacuumed my vehicle. All for the price of an oil change.

The items they found need to be attended to or there may be more damage. GREAT Service!

Great service and friendly! They always try to make room for me even when busy and get me in and out as quick and convenient as possible.

I do not recommend this business to anyone, they will try scare you over the phone and tell you whatever you need fixed cannot be fixed. Grip Tire will try and up-sell you and lie to your face.if you value your time, money and honestly you will not find those values here with Grip Tire. Go down the road for a better mechanic that understands how to treat people.

If you come in with a flat tire that can repaired they will sell you one brand new tire and make you wait for days for it instead of fixing your flat tire like other shops in the area.

This place is a scam, I just wanted to get my flat winter tire repaired as I have work and need to get around for my life. I was looked into my eyes and told by one their employee it was not fixable due to having too big a slash and it would be $180 for a brand new tire and it wouldn't be ready until Friday. Thankfully another shop patched my tire for $30 and i was on my way in less than 20 minutes. & i had another local shop inspect that work and it was told it was safe. GRIP TIRE wanted to put 1 brand new tire on a REAR WHEEL DRIVE vehicle I was even told by another mechanic that would have ruined my rear differential! PLEASE DO NOT GO TO GRIP TIRE THEY WILL POTENTIALLY RUIN YOUR VEHICLE.

I'm really happy I found this spot! Had a flat tire this morning so my daily commute to work became a problem. Couldn't find the right tire replacement in other spots around. These guys saved my day, replacing the tire with a new one from the same brand so within an hour or two I was completely free! The price was very fair too. Yep, I can definitely recommend this place.

Bought snow tires for my car before the big storm. The team at Grip had me setup and back on the road within hours. They vacuumed my car and put my all seasons in storage for me too! Tires were excellent in the snow, passed many cars that should have gone to Grip!

I just recently had my truck serviced by the professional guys at GRIP Auto & Tire and I will recommend them to everyone I know. They are so friendly and knowledgeable; it took me looking around at a couple shops to finally feel confident once they addressed the issue properly with my Tire Pressure Sensor. 11/10 service! I will be back!

I went in with a flat tire, i was told to leave it with them and they would phone me later. Time passes I get a phone call later about my tire how they can not repair it because of a "slash in the tire" I was told over the phone it would be $180 for a brand new tire and it wouldn't be ready until Friday. I pick up my tire and drove down Apollo Automotive where the guy was able to fix it for $30 and less then 20 minutes.

Update: I spoke to 2 other businesses and i was told Grip Tires was just trying to sell me a brand new tire and also my patch job is completely safe. I got another mechanics visual conformation to check the work by Apollo Automotive, and i was told the patch job was safe.

Back to Grip Tire if i was to buy 1 single tire like they recommended i was told by a proper mechanic that putting on 1 new tire on my vehicle would hurt my vehicle and be more unsafe due to uneven tread wear.

I love to shop local but for a reason. GRIP Tire & Auto scores big with the right ingredients, personable, courtesy, speed and know how. And add reasonable pricing too. Got new wheels for my winter tires. I couldn’t be happier. Double thumbs up!

We brought 2 of our cars to have the summer tires switched to winter tires. We received excellent service for this. The cars were ready on time, as promised. I was surprised to see the wheels had been cleaned and the floor mats looked suspiciously like they had been vacuumed.

I found Dean demonstrated a high level of integrity. I had paid my bill and was about to leave when he came running out to give me a refund. It turned out that he double checked my bill and noticed a discrepancy. It would have been easy for him to let me drive off since I had already paid but instead he gave me a refund for the overpayment. I will definitely be recommending Grip Tire to my family and friends.
