Good overall experience mixed with pockets of frustration. Skiing was good and they have a good range of things to do up on the mountain, stunning views too. Some infrastructure pieces that need improvement for the number of people they get: parking, bathroom locations, cafeteria line and seating.

I find out that I have another muscle in my body. That was my first time uphill and downhill

The hiking is intense, in a group and without having ever done hiking, it took us 2 and a half hours, to go up on your own and go down by cable car they charge you 20 dollars with taxes included, I highly recommend it

Weather was sunny and clear. Spectacular views, easy to get up and around. Bears, lumberjacks, bar at the top.

Hike via BCMC route and you will never forget that hike. Always remember, you live every day but die once, make sure you live each day to fullest and my hike was simply amazing.

The gondola trip up and down is very pleasant
The person at the helmet provided great information
The walk around nature and the four legged residents are a real treat. The humans manning the place at all stations are very nice. We had a drink watching the sunset. The whole experience was extremely gratifying. Thank you!

This is a cable car ride to the top, a very long way up. The scenery is amazing on the way up the mountain. It's pretty cold up there, so some warm clothing is required. If you're lucky, you may see some wildlife.

Wonderful place, beautiful landscapes, and pretty cool shows. Great place to go with friends. You could either pay 20 CAD (as of today October 2021) for the cable car or go down the hill for free.

Horrible staff.needs to be better trained or replaced.kicked live streamer out, and followered her around. Continued to harass her even after she agreed not to stream. Definitely skipping this place.

This may have been a user error but the trails are very confusing. I remember following the signs at the beggining but we somehow ended up on the BCMC trail instead of Grouse Grind. I wish there were more checkpoint and signage to indicate if we were on the right path. We didn't make it up to the top since BCMC is signifigantly harder and the mandatory $20 lift tickets were wasted. Kind of scary if you didnt bring money going up since you aren't supposed to descend the trail on foot.

Amazing! It is well run, with friendly staff. The gondola was clean. Lots to do and see! Beautiful views from the top! It's a must if you're in North Van

It’s a very beautiful and lovely place. I really loved visiting this site but I was really frustrated with the gondola. About 100 people were pushed inside at the middle of the pandemic and nowhere our proof i
of vaccination was checked. It was much busier than a bus or a subway and we were trapped and not able to see the view at all. Otherwise, I recommend to visit the Grouse mountain and you hike if you can instead of taking that awful gondola.

Grouse Mountain is one of the North Shore Mountains of the Pacific Ranges in the District Municipality of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. With a maximum elevation of over 1,200 m (4,100 feet) at its peak, the mountain is the site of an alpine ski area, Grouse Mountain Resort, which overlooks Metro Vancouver has four chairlifts servicing 33 runs. In the summer, Grouse Mountain Resort features lumberjack shows, the "Birds in Motion" birds of prey demonstration, a scenic chairlift ride, disc golf, mountain biking, zip lining, tandem paragliding, helicopter tours, and guided ecowalks. Year-round operations include a 100-seat mountaintop theatre and a wildlife refuge. The mountain operates two aerial tramways, known officially as the Skyride. The Blue Skyride is used mainly for freight transportation, while public access to the mountain top is provided by the Swiss-built Garaventa Red Skyride, which has a maximum capacity of 101 passengers (96 in summer). Summer access is also provided by the 2.9 kilometre Grouse Grind hiking trail, which is open for hiking from May to October.

Magnificent cityscape view while going up or down in the gondola. Great lumberjack show and quite hilarious. Up close with Grizzly bear and a lot more.

The Grouse Grind is tough, but very rewarding. At the top of the mountain, there's also lots of stuff to do. There are bears!

A great work out to get to the top via the BCMC or the Grouse Grind. When you get to the top there are other hiking trails you can explore as well. You can also take the gondola up and down if you're not up for an intermediate level hike. Come up, enjoy the views and say high to the bears! Bring your own food and drink if you can though. The food up there is pricy. We're talking 9 bucks for a juice.

WARNING! Not for beginners at all but the view and the mountain deserves 10 stars.definitely take the sky ride it is such an amazing place with beautiful trees and fresh air.but if you aren’t a professional don’t even start hiking because going down is harder than going up

Crowded in the weekend, but fun activities on the top. Nice family experience, it takes 1h30m to get to the top on regular sunny conditions.
You can go down or take the gondola if you dont feel like doing it.

A challenging hike to the top of the Mountain but you can also take the Gondola to the top and enjoy the breathtaking views

The gondola carries around 20 people and reaches height of 800ft. Got to see 2 grizzlies at close range. Must watch - Lumberjack show that showcases the skills of the lumberjacks

A must!
You can’t visit Vancouver without going to the Grouse Mountain.
Breathtaking view.we enjoyed the Gondola. There was a live show and it was so funny. Watching the bears was another great experience.
You don’t want to miss looking at Vancouver from the north. Unfortunately, the eye of the wind was still closed.
