Service was abysmal, starting with a 40 minute wait for our first drinks. No one checked in on our appies or mains. Dishes took ages to clear, and we never got our waters refilled. Our mains didn’t come out the same time, and one side was burnt and had to be remade. They did comp that meal, which is why I settled on a 3 instead of a 2. The cocktails were unbalanced, gritty, and/or watery. The tagliatelle that came with the duck leg was delicious, and the onion tart was pretty good. Arctic char was great but seasonal veggies were disappointing. A few saving graces in this loud spot that we won’t soon be returning to. I will say that it seemed like they needed at least one more server, or at least a dedicated and experienced bartender on staff. It was busy.

The experience is unique here. The food tastes are amazing. Staff are very friendly and the restaurant is nice and cozy.

The most quaint back garden patio dining experience. My server was very friendly and attentive. This place serves some of the most balanced dishes I’ve ever seen. Everything I ordered came with a side of greens. Lamb sirloin meatball tagliatelle (al dente!) came with sprouts. Ahi tuna was served on giant buncheS of lettuce that were perfectly grilled, seasoned and sauced just right. I ordered a side kale salad but it was unnecessary because of the perfect default proportion of greens with each dish. This place has the HealthCanada food plate right. The menu is so lowkey/understated, that the presentation and taste of each dish is a pleasant surprise. 10/10

The decor is super cool. Little area out back for quiet dining. Inside has awesome atmosphere. But the food.the food is what brings you here. We had the warm salad, the onion and Brie tart and king oyster mushroom salad. Son had bolognese. Daughter had a side of scalloped potatoes. All dishes were 5/5. Except the bolognese. It was 6/5. So damn good.

Great neighbourhood joint! We ordered the fish cakes, the saganaki, the duck, and the mushroom pasta. Bread was made in-house, so was the pasta. So refreshing in today's restaurant scene where bread tastes like it's been freshly bought from the Safeway down the street and the pasta is out of a packet.

It's a tiny little place and there was only one server there, but she rocked. Running around taking orders, cracking jokes, making bomb cocktails.she did it all. I rarely get that level of service in a restaurant, so it was even more impressive that she was managing her stress and helping out every table without any issues whatsoever.

We definitely want to head back again soon and try some of the other items on the menu, highly recommend this place!

Came here tonight, highly recommend you make reservations so that you have a table when you arrive. We ordered the duck and lamp mains, I can confidently say we were impressed with the quality of food.

One thing that was a bit odd was that the staff came over and said they need the table in the next 1.5 hours. Not a big deal but the food came out slow, by the time it arrived we only had 45 min to eat. I didn't really enjoy the feeling of being rushed to eat and leave. Other than that the food and drinks was good.

Great assortment of meals, good prices and large portions. Delicious. French toast halloumi was the show stopper, although I would say it could even be a dessert.

Top marks go to the Arctic Char and fritters they were both stunning. Can't wait to go back and try more things. My husband and I eat out a LOT, and this has definitely made our top restaurant list. I was so impressed. I can't believe it's been around for so long, and we never knew about it. We don't live close but have been in that area many times. Did not disappoint, that's for sure. Tip of the hat to you Ling. We'll be back soon. Truly outstanding.

Slightly disappointed. Maybe the other great reviews raised expectations too high? The food was good but not "you have to go there" good. Enjoyed the evening however.

Excellent food excellent staff and excellent service. The food was a Harmony of flavors and I could enjoy every bit of my bite.

Food here is really really good for the price. The place is quite small though so things are fairly packed together. If you don't enjoy being in close proximity to people then I wouldn't recommend the place.

Food was spectacular, we ordered double the amount we would normally because we just HAD to try everything. We left feeling like we could still come back and have a completely different dining experience because so many of the items on the menu sounded so good! Great value as well, portions were just right and the price was on point!

The best meal we've had in ages. 3 of us tried different things, appys to desserts, every dish was inspired! Staff was very knowledgeable and attentive.
Makes dining out something to look foward to. Cannot wait to come back!

Came with a group of 3 and we Ordered Lamb Shank, Venison schnitzel and duck confit. The Lamb leg/shank was a very generous portion and presented nicely. However, we all found that the dishes were on the dry side which is why I wasn't able to finish my lamb dish. Would probably come back again to give it a 2nd chance. Good prices.
