"Guelph Park, or Dude Chilling Park, was a great find! Had a happy and relaxed time there, just enjoying the chill vibes. Amazed by the cool art and the friendly atmosphere. Definitely a place to kick back and enjoy. "

Guelph Park, aka 'Dude Chilling Park' in Vancouver, is a cool, laid-back spot. It's perfect for relaxing with a book or friends. Love the artsy vibe here. A must-visit for a unique chill experience in the city

A neighborhood hub, this park is a classic place to enjoy an afternoon with friends, meeting place, enjoy some time getting to know your community garden and people in the area. With local food trucks stopping by, outdoor yoga classes and all kinds of activities this is the park to enjoy yourself with a taste of old Vancouver charm.

A nice playground for youngsters with slides and a few swings. Tennis courts, too. Directly adjacent (east side) of Dude Chilling Park, just separated by a walkway. Centrally located. Next to Mt. Pleasant school which has a substantial playground area and fields.

Dude Chilling Park is honestly very chill. It’s extremely chilly in the winter, but in the summer it’s chill in a hotter way, lots of tanners. Plenty of chill dudes and girls if you are open minded and the dogs are super chill too. Just a chill spot honestly. They don’t have too much there, some grass and paths but to be real you don’t need much more than that to just hangout or have a picnic or something. I love dogs and there are dogs there all the time, they also have to be on a leash too which can get uncomfortable but you get used to it.

I went back here and it was kind of dusty. Also, its kind of confusing but Guelph park and Dude chilling park are the same. Probably because people kept stealing the sign so they had to change it

Kind of a fun place, all different people in the neighborhood. A lot of local people and alot pet's as well

Not the nicest park in the area. Patchy grass, rundown tennis courts, and a fair amount of vagrants often drunk and cursing loudly. There's much better atmosphere at Mt Pleasant Park or Jonathan Rogers Park.

Very chill park. Beautiful light comes through the trees. Also has a best down tennis courts and a community garden. Usually has a few hipsters crushing a few ipas

Small and rather busy. Kind of a tourist attraction due to the name. Not overly special if you don't know the story behind the parks alternative name.

I would like it if the mens choir that practices near the school would move closer to the swing set.i cannot hear them from where i usually sit (near the swing set)

Frequent it and love it even more since they changed the parks name to "DUDE CHILLIN PARK" LOL! BEST F'N NAME EVER FOR A PARK! BUT I DONT THINK ANY OTHER CITY, town whatever has the balls to do what EAST VAN did by calling it DUDE CHILLIN PARK!

Awesome park, but there are always drunks taking up the benches. They are nice friendly drunks, but still...

Not quite sure how it got its 4.3 star rating. It's a piece of grass with some trees and a playground. Went there on a nice afternoon and it was packed with three large yoga groups competing for who could be the most Zen, multiple smaller groups of people having a drink or a toke, about 100 square feet of unclaimed real estate and a fair amount of litter and a couple of needles on the ground. Maybe the fault lies with me and I'm just picky.

Nice park no bathrooms in the fall time tennis court needs lighting good place to have beers in the summertime and BBQs definitely needs bathrooms I'll keep coming back and going there for 10 years

I definitely saw the reason for this park's alternate name on my short visit! After dark, and several groups of adults having mature parties or gatherings in different areas, not too loud or too quiet, for me at least.

A fellow dog walker was there with her golden doodles giving them some exercise, and says this park is good after dark for off-label off-leashing. There are lots of picnic tables, spread far out enough to have them not disturb each other, lots of green space, and a very well kept community garden that is nice and welcoming to walk through.

I would rate it higher except that for the fact that alot of people are disrespecting the park by not using the bins on site ; there's cigarette butts and litter scattered throughout the park. Still, I luv the vibe here: everyone's friendly, people of all ages use the park, I have lots of friends in tha 'hood, we're getting a Skytrain station eventually, lots of shops and amenities close by and not many hipsters. Mt. Pleasant rocks!

This is a very popular dog park for locar residents, kids playground nearby separate from the open field, so no worries of your kids having to interact with the animals.

I go here frequently to bring my daughter to explore the playgrounds and she loves seeing birds and dogs makes my day.enjoy it every time

Nobody calls it "Guelph Park" - this is "Dude Chilling Park". The statue may eventually return. But this will always remain a nice, chill place to hang out with friends. Check out the farmers market on Sundays during the summer.

Used to live in the area when our son was 2 1/2. He loved it then. We thought we'd head back to our old hood now that he's 4. Plenty of fun for kids for all ages. Even parents!

The kids had a blast. The standing sitting area for parents was fantastic and I liked the the ground wad the recycled rubber not wood chips
