Really beautiful establishment, new and clean, surrounded by a lot of nice people from the community

Hours of facility are not adequate to the needs of the community. Gym 3 is very dusty and needs to be cleaned and is always hosting children's program. Other activities are always prioritized over basketball. There is a very rude worker on Sunday morning at 10am who supervises program in gym 3. Increase hours, increase maintenance of the court, add more basketball drop ins, and train certain staff members to be respectful.

Extending the hours of operation and giving priority to basketball drop-ins at our recreation center is crucial for various reasons. Firstly, basketball is an immensely popular activity that attracts a significant number of participants. By prioritizing basketball drop-ins, we cater to the needs and interests of a large segment of our community, thereby enhancing the inclusivity and satisfaction of our members. Additionally, extending the center's hours ensures that people with hectic schedules or late-shift workers have the opportunity to engage in physical activities and enjoy the facilities. Ultimately, prioritizing longer hours and basketball drop-ins will enhance the overall experience for our members, attract more users to our center, and contribute positively to the physical and social well-being of our community.

I came there many time with my daughter who is 11 her bed time is 830 ish but so many things in pool is either blocked off or never open, diving boards, jacuzzi is most time closed and we never get discounts still full price i dont mind paying but open up all facilities most diving boards and slides because kids have limited time since they school next day and have too rest for they not tired for school

We visit this facility more than any other place in the city. This is an all-in-one multi-use resource for the entire family - from toddler to senior. Check out the diverse events, speakers, support groups, etc.as advertised in the common area.

Sometimes, we'll just sit and enjoy a chai latte and a nanaimo bar at the coffee shop after enjoying one of the displays they put on (recently, it was vintage dinnerware from the surrounding area).

Other times, we'll use one of the library's cubicles to offer quick tech support or sit in their comfy chairs and read the latest magazines.

We're currently looking into the Leisure Access Program, which will give us access to drop-in programs such as swimming, skating, weight room, fitness classes and more.

With the Guildford Town Centre across the road, it really is well-situated. Not only is there ample parking, but they also provide an outlet to recharge electric cars.

Within the next couple of years the city will begin construction on the new Light Rail Transit (LRT) and related pedestrian and bicycle improvements making it easier than ever to get to the rec centre by foot, bicycle, car or LRT.

My only concern - and this goes out to those patrons whose litter is negatively affecting other people's enjoyment of this wonderful community landmark - please take those extra steps over to the conveniently-placed garbage bin and properly dispose of your trash. The same goes for all you smokers who prefer to litter the property with your cigarette butts - there's an ashtray conveniently placed to dispose of them. Over the past couple of years, the garbage in and around the rec centre has significantly increased. Please.let's keep our city clean!

Went for my first time to swim some laps. Was greeted by a nice friendly staff members how assistant Memon where to go and had a life guard meet me there to show me around.
It was SO clean and what.a hot tub!

Somehow this was the first time I'd been here despite living in the area for three decades, it was for the COVID vaccination program, I have no complaints about the facility itself and it looks like it would be a good place for families to visit in other circumstances.

Went there for my mom and dad's vaccination. It was great arrangements for parking and inside the center for vaccination as well. They opened it 24 hours to make it easy for the one's who work in the day time.

Really poor refund process. I never receive any email from them regards to the "policy" relate to Covid19. Person on the phone only forces you to accept the fact they kept away one monthly cost, which is $73.75. In fact I only worked out there once. How convenient that is!

Other than that Do Not buy Annual pass. It's purely a mistake from my experience.

Zero service from the fitness section. The person just assumes everyone "gets to know" this place instantly. I didn't know where the locker is, and how to use it, at least the locker they use is very different from Burnaby recreation center. She was just walking on her own and pretend people know it all without any help. With that altitude I truly don't want to talk to this type of people at all! Arrogantly and carelessly.pure unprofessional. Never suggest what she could help!

only a few lockers available in the fitness section, which is also a minus. They put lockers beside running machines. I have to pack in front of other people.

Had my covid vaccine at this place. The crowd was totally social distancing, personnel were so helpful nd nice.

We haven't actually used the facilities here. We were just here for the COVID vaccine clinic and it was a really great experience. It facilities look great though and there's lots of parking. I'm sure this is a great spot for recreational activities!

One of Fraser Valley’s main COVID-19 vaccination spots. There was a huge lineup (yes with appointment). In fact there are three lineups: one super long outside the building, another one to the left side of the entrance, and a shorter one inside the building. But the staff were very kind and professional. They offer you to hold your spot in line and text you when it’s actually your turn to go in. Everything else is very nicely done.

This was my first time there the facility itself is great but I was there to get my vaccine so I'm gonna reserve one star for when it's fully functional and I get a chance to visit

Went there for 2nd covid 19 shoot, very fast. Went in and out in 30 to 45 minutes. Very efficient setup, well organized, very polite and friendly.

The most awesome experience getting our second Covid shot. Start to finish 26 minutes tgat included tge 15 minute after shot wait. We were directed in, followed the young man with a red wind to our seat, Tony was right there, asked pertinent questions, gave me the shot, told me yo wait, and raise my hand if I had a reaction tgen he pushed off to my husband, another young lady who was assisting Tony put a sticker on my cubicle with the time I could leave. My husband done so fast only 2 minutes more to leave time. We were both really happy with the professional yet friendly staff. A+

I went there at night through walking and saw lots of people. Still I went there and was impressed by efficiency and cleanliness as per covid-19 protocol.

It's worth it coming here to watch the old Chinese dudes downstairs compete against each other in Ping-Pong.

I used to love the Aquafit classes! The government just announced indoor low intensity classes will be allowed, starting soon. Please, please bring back aquacize at Guildford Rec Centre!

Well I am fully vaccinated now which is a big relief. Two weeks from now and I will be good to go anywhere in BC! The rec center is very nice. I highly recommend that people go there, they won't be disappointed!

I usually come here for the pool, as well as lifeguarding. I did WSI here, and the instructors were kind and knew what to do. The whole facility is clean and nice. There's many activities that you can do there. I like how they have a leadership class here, which I'm interested in doing. A great place to go in general and very convenient if living in Guildford Mall area.

Guildford Pool is great! The water is salt/chlorine and usually pretty warm. We have tons of fun with our 7 month old. It has: water slide, lazy river, massaging water fall, hot tub, and lane swimming.

I have asked the staff at this place for a lot of help over the last couple months and I have ALWAYS been quickly and well taken care of. It is absolutely fantastic!

Learn to answer your phone, not interested in sitting in you hold then ring circle carousel 1st in cue but 25 minutes and still listening to your liar message.not impressed

The entirety of the pool that's deeper than three feet was closed for kids activities so all the adults were stuck in the kids pool. Waste of my money.

The website said "limited space" not "no space"

They allow too many clubs and swimming lessons in the pool and there are no areas to do exercises and very few for the children to play in. The hot tub should also be for adults only. It is ridiculous that you are charging the same amount for such few facilities. Literally, the only pool available for everyone was the lazy river pool. All of the others were being used for lessons and clubs. I will not be returning

Not too crowded, and everyone leaves me alone. Been here over a month and still have yet to be issued a pass. Just go to the counter and check-in.

The pool changeroom is so disgusting. Hair, bandaids and crumbs all over the place. Really gone downhill in terms of cleanliness. Will not be going back ever again.

My wife and I visited the rec centre for the first time this week to participate in an Aquafit class. Unfortunately the instructor had called in sick and the class was cancelled. We didnt find out until we were standing on the pools edge. But, the staff were great and we stayed and took a swim and relaxed in the steam room. Excellent facility, alert life guards, pleasant staff, fun atmosphere. We were both very impressed.even though our class was cancelled.
