H-Mart Coquitlam

Excellent selection of Asian foods and products. Prices are reasonable, not the cheapest in some items but the customer service and product selection really helps to make this one of my main groceries stops in the area. Parking is a bit cumbersome as it’s one way in and one way out.

Some of the groceries are actually even better in quality and on price than W store on Austin, and RCS store on Lougheed.

Great place for Korean ingredients and take home meals.

Only minor thing about the store is that you may feel cramped here when it is busy here.

They are selling every Korean stuff you need in your kitchen. Try to make a simple Korean cook. You can realize that this is a nice place to shop Asian producs not even Korean things.

Most people who come here have no respect for anything other than their own. Even when covid was getting worse spreading widely around the area, people would crowd up in one area and surround the employee just because they couldn't wait for an item on sale to be restocked within 5 seconds. People are like animals in the produce section, digging up and literally destroying green onions on display and touching literally everything they can touch.

Great area for many Korean snacks. Parking lot can get busy depending in which day and time you get there. I go before 11 to avoid crowds and to be able to get a parking spot.

The staff are always incredibly friendly & helpfull.
The produce, seafood, bakery & restaurant are top notch.
We always shop here when we get a chance

If you're looking for ingredients for Korean food this is a place to go to. They have everything. Price is a bit on the high side but its a one stop shop for anything Korean food.

Everything Korean and Asian to buy here in terms of food. Plenary of variety and there is even a fresh cooked food area. Everything looks tasty. This place is bigger than the poco branch and more choices.

:) What can I really say LOL it's a korean supermarket located in korea town and has nice restaurants and places surrounding it:) Workers were always nice and prices were o-k a little pricey sometimes.

I shopped here since day one! The store is clean and stocked full of korean goodies! Thank you for supplying delicious food and products to the people of greater Vancouver!

Well they definitely have more variety on different take out foods wish that the Langley location would get some more of them

There H-mart store is bigger compared to other H-mart locations. They have many types of korean foods and snacks. Some of the promotions are great deal. A night-shift cashier was very nice when I was shopping last time. Thank you!

Such a bad smell in there. Clearly, some meat had gone bad and hadn't been properly dealt with. Plus, prices are much higher then others around

NOT a fan of this plaza. Parking is EXTREMELY narrow and crammed together. It's set up as a one grid, which is difficult to get through, when you have people trying to park.

Honestly, it is pretty clean though. I don't shop there anymore.

If you can find someone who understands you it would be better for finding what your looking for. Nice big store but if you are on a mission and you cannot speak their language It's a challenge.

The lighting and spacious environment is very comfortable to navigate. The products have variety from Korea. The parking is easy to find spot. But, the fruits may not as fresh. The berries are molded.

They sell sashimi grade salmon here uncut so if you're wanting to make poke this is the place!

The best hmart location.the others aren't good. This one is located in the heart of Korea town, surrounded by many other Korean restaurants and businesses. This is also (personally) the biggest hmark in the area while offering the most items/produce. Staff here are nice and I get the Asian vibes here XD
There was a time I wanted to buy some seafood but since it was an hour drive home on hot summers day, it was a risk to get. Luckily the staffs there were very kind to offer to give us an ice box (the Styrofoam box they get from orders) filled with ice so we can purchase our seafood. Very nice of them. Now we also bri g our own cooler when we shop there.
Btw, if you ever come here. Get a bag of fresh hot roasted sweet potatoes! They are heavenly especially during the cold winter days.

The Cashier was terrible and not helpful at all. I brought a bag for groceries but she just scanned the items not packing at all. Even I asked her to help me but she ignored. Packing service ONLY buy the plastic bag in store.

Its a sizable H-Mart. They'll have what you need for Korean groceries and whatnot. There's a bakery and ready made food section with a decent banchan selection. You can also find some quality appliances such as a large selection of super pricey rice cookers that'll speak to you in Korean. There's also a variety of cook wares. I bought a "cheap" earthenware pot and "cheap" cast iron grill, these have been holding up for over a year.

Parking lot a bit messy. But good to get lunch in their cafe area. Priced around 9$ for a set lunch. Good selection of Korean foods

I think this place is good enough. The more far away from downtown Vancouver, the cheaper.
H mart in downtown is so expensive comparing with others in Coquitlam and Langley.

Other H-Mart locations have made me feel weird and out of place in the past, but my experience here was actually really nice. I bought some ginseng with minimal English on the label, and the lady at the checkout assured me I got the good stuff and took time to offer advice on how to take it properly. I'm used to minimal friendliness and eye contact at my regular grocery stores in the valley, but she helped me with advice that I definitely needed but wasn't going to ask for. Not what I expected, and above and beyond the duties of a checkout person if you ask me. 4 stars only because the parking lot is chaotic and prices were so-so, but the selection was great and the help was unexpectedly awesome. Smells great in there.

The store is close to where my office is so I am frequent to this place. Lots of Asian food. It closes at 10: 30pm. Very convenient.

This place offers some unique selections of food and the prices tend to be on the high end. The staffs don't normally offer to help you if you don't speak Korean.

This store used to have good sale items but not anymore. It looks like almost same product sales every other week. It's not worth to go there to shopping.

Poorly labelled items says one price turns out to be another price at the cashier, bought lobster and they over charged me, very pricey grocery store

It was sometimes very unkind and not professional, but these days, it's just perfect. I'm very happy to see they have been improved.
