Haida Sandwich

Ordered their turkey breast cold cut and I had to throw it out after only 4 bites which I never do with food. The bread was old and hard, and the sandwich was just completely filled with their "special sauce" to a point where each bite made me feel nauseous. Also, don't get your hopes up to get a taste of Persian style cuisine, it tastes nowhere near it.

If you are looking for big food and a nostalgic taste of Persian sandwiches, you are going to the right place. Goo boys, don't take girls if they are soosool and picky.

The taste of food is not delicious as you think also price of haida is crazy instead of choose this fast food you can enjoy of your kebab

Don’t go to this restaurant if your health is your priority.

We went with family.
It was December 3rd around 8ish. There was so rude woman who’s got our order. She was so mad and angry!
I was uncomfortable to placing my order like maybe we did something wrong!
Even when we want to get our food another one of us went and he asked me what’s wrong with her?
The food was below average, there are a lot of other restaurants with the same concept on that street like subway that much better and healthier than Haida.
Anyway their sandwich was a little bigger like the amount of ingredients in each sandwich than the first time I tried which was 3 years ago! But still! We ordered meet lovers and Dragons.
The sausage was old and low quality I doubt to say it was healthy or what kind of sausage they used!
They added the seasoning in its sauce that had really bad smell. I couldn’t realize what else included in sauce but I believe it wasn’t healthy and clean. The store looked so dirty!
The price was so expensive I paid $69 for two sandwiches, ridiculous!
No recommend this place at all!

Their delivery gets worse than ever! I asked to add pickles! There were a two or three small pieces! The next half even doesn’t have tomatoes slices on it. I am sorry both for wasting my time l and tipping to such cheap service, and low quality foods.
It is my last time to go there, and I guess it is their last days in Vancouver!

Very dissatisfied. The customer service is horrible, and the staff are very disrespectful. The wait times are absurd. It takes 30 minutes to get a SINGLE sandwich, which is ridiculous. The food isn't even that good either. Save yourself some time and go to Subway if you're looking for a good sandwich.

Definitely 1 star! I guess this is the first time i give a business lower than a 5star.i dont give business bad reviews but this time i couldn’t just say nothing and move on.i ordered 4 royal (not sure about the name but it was about 21$) and i asked for extra sauces (one hot sauce and one mayonnaise) for each one of them separately which they always provide and its on the tables to use (Free). And i tipped 20% (about 25$) even it was a take out order.i didnt even want to dine in but i tipped the highest they had on their system … then the lady she came back and told me sry they said we are not able to give u the amount of extra sauces u asked for (which is free and its on the table to use and i already tipped for a take out order like 20%) …in any other restaurants in Vancouver when u tip good for a take out order, they provide you any free items they have as much as u want and i didnt asked for sth crazy! I dont know if the business owner cares about customers reviews or sees this but i believe it could be useful for other people who see this.i just smiled and said thanks and left but decided to share my experience here for others on very that moment.

Bandari’s taste was perfect and yummy.

The best thing about the sandwiches was the bun which was great, I don’t know if it was made in the restaurant or bot but it was perfect.

The quality has dropped, the food is pricey and meat on the haida special has been reduced compared to what I had a few years bk.

It's good sandwiches but it is not like it was before. Maybe that's what happens when you franchise.

She left us waiting on the phone for 10’mins and when i told her she said they are busy!

When we entered, there were no customers there and we ordered 2 sandwiches and waited for about an hour, they were just laughing together and did not prepare our food. I talked to them after 1 hour about where is my food? And instead of giving me a convincing reason, the young guy who works there said that the lady is training. He behaved very rudely. I feel sorry for the new team working there. There was also a girl she was cashier as well and she was very angry. If you continue with this customer service, you will lose your customers

I order chicken with maushrooms but it doesn’t have mushrooms, to feil your sandwich they charge you otherwise they only give you bread. See how dare they are.

I think this place Iran because I RAN outta there, their quality is like the Walmart subway now, just add a couple bugs, hairs, etc. It’s like a lottery “You never know what bug or worker hair you might get! ” Good thing it’s a guaranteed lottery

I got special haida sandwich. Taste and quality was great but cashier was not friendly. She has not good greeting. Even she threw my sandwich on the table and went. I didn’t see something like this!

They basically make a sandwich with 10 percent of Subway's content and charge 80 percent more.

The service is also slow and the restaurant does not seem clean.

Cockroach in my Sandwich!

This was the last time I ordered from HAIDA. On my second bite of my Cheese Sausage sandwich, couple chopped lettuce fell down and on one of them there was a little cockroach. You ruined my day and I still can't eat anything!
you also ruined my TRUST to you!

Price depended on quality and amout of meat is too high.before that each sandwich has lots of meat and very tastuy.but right now is not.
Owner need to have change this policy ASAP.otherwise no reason to come back.

It's a shame that Haida Sandwich was purchased by this management. What a pitty. It's nothing like the real Haida Sandwich location in Toronto. The amount of deli is half of what you see and all filled up with lettuce and veggies. The 12 inch sandwich has 3 inch of empty section, so basically you are just getting a 6-7 inch sandwich for the price of $17. It's ridiculously pricy and doesn't worth more than 10 bucks. I changed my sandwich and complained about my half empty sandwich with veggie fills, and still got the same thing. It's just how it's made. They should be reminded of how originally this place is runned and they should stop charging people so much. Very disappointing and unfortunate. I wish it was like the Toronto location. I would never go back

Desperate for a good hamburger on the North Shore. This place came up. Glitzy advertising, lots of reviews. Probably the worst hamburger I have ever had. $17. Swimming in mayo. Mushrooms out of a can. Thin slice of grey meat that was supposed to be a hamburger patty. Iceberg lettuce. Green tomatoes. No real flavour. One bite and the whole thing slid apart on an ocean of white sauce which may or may not have been mayonnaise. Really not enjoyable. For that much money I should have just gone to a pub and get a real hamburger.

Amazing food, so filling their 1 slice is heavier than 2 normal pizza.
DEFINITELY not for health conscience ppl as if focus more on tastiness. It is salty so more appropriate for Asian side of people persians, arabians, indians maybe south asians too

This our togo place when we are in North vancouver, I love their cold Sandwich and their pizzas. They have a point system which is awesome just give them your phone number and enjoy your meal for free after few purchases.

Expensive as a fast food! A meal (sandwich fries and drinks) costs quite high easily over $20. Also there is tip on POS at the top of that. Food quality is good for a processed food though. The point /rewarding system doesn't work (the accumulated of millions points!), and probably it uses customers number for other purposes.need a reform to stay up.

Good selection of sandwiches and bottled drinks. Pizzas are so good and quite fulfilling. First time to be here, I like how it goes. The staff is friendly. Cool music. It’s unfortunate that I wanted to try the hot corn but it’s not available. I will definitely come back to try this appetizer. Having some desserts is a perfect bonus to those who have sweet tooth like me. Fresh pizza toppings. I like the idea that they have a free wifi. Well Lighted place. Good place for a little chat with friends while enjoying what they offer.

Staff are friendly and caring. I had a grilled chicken and a roast beef sandwich at Haida Sandwich. I liked the roast beef more but both sandwiches were made of fresh ingredients like fresh bun and crisp head lettuce. The only thing that I didn't like about grilled chicken sandwich was that the chicken more tasted like roast than grilled. But still the taste was good and it melted in mouth.

Everything about this place absolutely awesome, from staff to food and the general environment, im going to be a regular customer from here on out!

I’ve been twice and the Hot Grilled Chicken Sandwich was good both times, but the restaurant could be cleaner and there was 2 staff members taking up 2 of 3 benches just sitting on their phones. Really good food, not perfect service.

The food is okay. I had the Haida hot, It was too salty, likely because of the sauce. The way they stack the meat on top makes it hard to bite and chew on the food. Otherwise staff were nice

I bought a chocolate milk shake but it had no toppings and it tasted like water! It was the worst milk shake ever!

One of my favourite place, been going this place for four years and they have the most delicious pizza and sandwiches with very high portions in Vancouver area. I really like this place. I recommend this place.

Yet today a lady behind the counter she was really great polite and helpful.

We came to this spot for lunch.we heard about this place from a lot of people. Well, it was very successful. The crew were very polite and we felt fantastic. The meal was fresh and delicious. We loved this spot a lot and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Recommended.

Customer Service Issue.
Although Haida have tasty sandwiches however you cannot seat and eat while they have some excuses half an hour prior to their closing time. Assumed their closing time an hour sooner than advertised.just a head's up!

Like most Persian cuisine amazing food, value for money, but the downside is the ok looking value.

Very large sandwiches! I've just started going here and, for the few different menu items that I've tried, I will say that I've been pretty happy. The staff has been friendly and the wait not too long (for the baked items, they tell you 10 min and you really do not wait longer. Cold sandwiches are ready almost immediately).

The sandwiches are HUGE. I've ordered full sized ones 3 times now, and each time they have ended up being more than one meal. (Considering I can eat more than 1 sub at a time from their competition, that is saying something!) I have not tried customizing anything yet, so I don't know how that will work out, but so far I don't see it as being a problem.

The ingredients are generous, especially their signature sauce and lettuce, but also the meat and vegetables do not disappoint. I'm interested to see what their pizzas are like, and the new burgers they have - so I will be going back again to try more!
