Brought my partner here during his birthday weekend and we had a great time!

This is a lovely hidden gem in Kitsilano and it was quite affordable, compared to similar experiences we’ve booked.

Upon arrival you’ll be greeted by the receptionist and they’ll hand you an iPad to fill out a form to sign before going inside. You’ll be asked for your shoe size so that they can hand you slippers to change into. Once you’ve changed into your slippers, you’ll be given a mini tour to see where everything is located.

Once you have finished your session, there is a lounge upstairs to unwind and have some tea/water.

Overall, we had a great time - will 100% come again!

Had a wonderful time during my first Float Therapy at Halsa. I wasn’t sure what to expect from it before trying it but it was such a relaxing and magical experience, and everyone in the spa was so kind and lovely. Thank you especially to Jen for being so welcoming!

Halsa is one of my most favourite urban sanctuaries. Their infrared sauna has been an integral part of my self care routine for years. The beauty of the space and the warm, kind staff keep me coming back!

Absolutely immaculate facility. Very relaxing start to finish! And the short journey to get to the actual float tank within the spa was like an experience in itself!

My partner and I each booked in an 80 minute float and a 60 minute massage to relax and celebrate my birthday.
Halsa is such a beautiful space. We appreciated the tour of the facilities and especially loved the lounge full of natural light, books, and tarot cards. The float rooms felt very clean, and I ended up falling asleep during my float. Iro was so kind and provided a very lovely massage experience. Would definitely recommend Halsa and hope to return again.

Samareh brings a lot of mindful, skillful caring to her sessions. Her touch is as gentle as water yet confident as a caring mother. The pressure is stimulating but never intrusive. She guides you through a customized mind-body journey by smoothly adjusting her technique based on your verbal and non-verbal feedback.

I feel under her touch, I melted and reformed into a better version of myself!

I did the cedar infrared sauna and loved the atmosphere and staff so much, I booked in a 90 minute aromatherapy massage with Jade a few hours later. Very approachable space. Calm, clean and thoughtful. Jade's work was magic.one of the best massages I've had in years. Never did aromatherapy as part of a massage before and it was heavenly. Your body is a temple so treat it right with Halsa!

Awesome massage service in a relaxing atmosphere. Both Privia and Kaila are excellent bodyworkers. A little pricey, but the level of service meets the price-point. Highly recommend this holistic massage approach from Halsa!

Resh was so warm and welcoming for our first visit to Halsa! The minute you walk in you feel like you’ve been transported to a relaxing realm. The infrared sauna was an UNBELIEVABLE experience! Everything is so clean, they have electrolyte water in the sauna for you, shower, robe, sandals. Afterwards there is a meditation room is for the guests to use that’s so gorgeous. And a lounge to enjoy with books, skylight and snacks. We left feeling like we spent hours at a spa on vacation. THANK YOU we will be back?

Nice and relaxing spot. Cedar sauna is my favourite! Staff is great too, I had to do a late cancel due to sickness and they were accommodating.

First time I ever got a professional massage or even went to a SPA. The facility is very clean, modern and quiet.
I checked in at the front desk with a kind hostess, and then met Privia upstairs. She asked to know my mindset that day and what areas I wanted to work on during the treatment. She's very gentle and attentive. She will see how you react to her touch and adapt accordingly in motion and pressure. I felt in expert hands.
I had also booked a float after that 60min massage. After a short break in the lounge area, I was shown to my room, Ocean 1.
It was quite surreal to be honest. At first I was busy trying to remain perfectly still and centered, but quickly I just let go and literally passed out after turning the lights off.
I can't say I've ever experienced something similar before but, again, this was my first time.
Won't be the last though, that's for sure.

I have been an avid “floater” for over 35 years and have floated at facilities all over Canada and the United States. Halsa Float Spas is by far the best floatation facility that I have experienced.

It is meticulously clean, orderly and “Zen-like” throughout. I love the design and the tanks themselves (particularly the “Ocean Rooms”) are best in class.

The staff is ever-friendly and always genuinely concerned about the quality of each customer experience.

They are also highly-knowledgeable about floating and the “best practices” of doing so (the right advice can make a big difference in the quality of your float).

Massage therapists at Halsa are also first-rate and the “Five Star Spa” experience continues with them.

Floating has literally changed my life—can’t say enough about the benefits—and Halsa Spa is my #1 choice for the float experience!

Not sure how I did not realize about this place before! It is beautiful inside and my infrared sauna was sooooo nice. Really thoughtful setup / amenities / staff. I will be back for sure, as long as I can get in! They book quite far in advance. Also it's a bit pricey to go as often as I'd like! But the experience is definitely worth it, and it's right on 4th on Kits so v convenient (not to mention you know they are paying a bunch in rent), plus it looks like they spend a lot of time on cleaning / maintaining the space so I can understand the price. I liked the music and lighting too. Blissed right out. Good selection of products for purchase and use in facilities (Botanical Therapeutic Tree Essence is legit my fave unscented moisturizer - sinks RIGHT in and is still v rich and luxurious feeling). Fun idea for a date, or just a relaxing afternoon on your own. Haven't tried the float yet but I will. TBH, I kind of want to keep this place a secret so I can get in more easily, but sharing is caring:). I wish there were more locations! Halsa, come to Fraser, rent is cheaper here (for now: D)!

Samareh has the most caring, healing and relaxing touch and presence. I enjoyed a lifetime's worth of mindful attention and compassion receiving her massage.

Update: unfortunately, they took away my credits during COVID lockdowns, despite the fact I couldn’t (didn’t) want to go during the pandemic. Such a shame.

I go see Rebecca here for massage on the regular. The energy she is able to get flowing through me is incredible. If I could, I would come weekly.

Great float and massage (with Marlo). Cute and clean space. The lounge was really nice too. Highly recommend.

The Thai massage is amazing. Candise is great. Service is easy and friendly. Rates are reasonable. But no RMP. I love this place.

This is a wonderful facility, well maintained and indeed relaxing and spa-like. But unfortunately it was concerning to see that the receptionist was not wearing a proper mask, but a plastic guard that did not cover her face or even mouth. In the times of highly transmittable virus, seeing this disregard of guests’ safety left me incredibly disappointed.

I was shocked by how much I enjoyed the float experience! It was simultaneously relaxing and joyful. All the little aches and pains I have melted away. It was one of the few times I was truly able to 'focus on my breath' without my mind wandering. I haven't been to any other float places so I have no comparison point. But everything was very clean and there were lots of helpful amenities (blow dryer, q tips, lotion etc.). I'd definitely do this again.

As I work here at this incredible spa, I may be a bit bias in saying that HÄLSA is out of this world. From the friendly reception staff, to immaculate floats and saunas, and some of the most gifted bodyworkers around, HÄLSA is an utter sanctuary right in the middle of Kits! Any offering you try from us will leave you in a state of bliss. Come and visit!

My latest experience was with Jade Soon, our staff aromatherapist and wanted to give a shout out!

Jade’s soft intuitive touch and gentle demeanour lulled my body into a state of rest and calm. Her gliding, sweeping strokes with the addition of her vast knowledge of the medicinal properties of essential oils allows her to create a container of healing and restoration. After our sessions my nervous system is deactivated and I feel grounded in my tissues. Jade’s passion for aromatherapy is palpable and she infuses it into each treatment. A friend of mine gifted me a massage at Halsa. I had Kendall and it was by far the best experience I have ever had. She was patient, kind, engaged and fully focused on relieving all the knots and specific aches I had talked about. I left feeling free, energized and relaxed all at the same time. Highly recommend for those who are looking for a fulfilling experience!

Kendall is the best massage therapist. I have chronic neck&shoulder muscles and my whole body feels nice&relaxed after 1 hr massage session with her. Very professional and nice&clean atmosphere.

I just had the most amazing experience at Halsa with Rebecca Lash! She did a body work treatment on me while in the float and it took my breathe away. Time stood still as I went into a deep relaxation full of incredible energy. She was professional and knowledgeable and I felt safe and taken care of. Highly recommend!

Hälsa is a hub of positive energy in Vancouver's healing-oriented community. Personal transformation begins upon entry as the spiritual-futurist decor feels like stepping into a James Redfield novel. I found their float tanks to be of the highest quality I have seen anywhere around Vancouver and each of the spa's rooms are curated to convey the same consistently warm and 'hidden' vibe. This place is a treasure, for sure.

If the universe knew how absolutely amazing floating is, we would use alot less pharmaceuticals.

Halsa spa is where I go to relax and unwind with an integrated massage that reaches deep to work knots and tension. I always feel euphoric after a message and float in the ocean room. Can't recommend enough.

I have travelled a lot for work and always make an effort to get massaged when doing so. I had the pleasure of getting a treatment by Natalka and it was by far THE best massage I have ever experienced. She is so intuitive and has a very unique style. The spa itself is very clean and inviting. I'm happy to have found this gem in the heart of Kitsilano and I am already looking forward to coming back. Thank you Halsa team!

Hands down one of the best massages I've ever had in my life! I went to see Kaila and I can't say enough good things about her and the entire experience. It all felt very safe during covid, and my back was killing me from sitting and working at home. She gave the perfect mix of deep tissue and relaxation massage! Would highly recommend seeing her! If they were rmt and I could use my benefits I would be going more often, but definitely worth treating yourself!

I recieved a float as a gift and I was very excited to try it, but I found my experience was not the peaceful one I'd hoped for. In all the confirmations Halsa asks new comers to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, however they kept the doors locked until 5 minutes before my start time so I arrived early just to stand in line outside for 10 minutes which I did not appreciate. After a nice tour I was given instructions for the float, then followed their procedures and got into the tub and waited for the intro music to start. After waiting about 15 minutes I figured the speaker must be broken or something, so rinsed off, got redressed and went back into the lobby full of people on W 4th to let the guy know, only to find out he'd just forgotten to press the start button in my room. So by the time I was back in the tub with the music on, I'd lost 30 of my 90 minutes of time. The second half of my float was eventually relaxing, but 4 minutes after my time finished, they started the cleaning cycle in the tub which turns the completely silent pool into an agressively bubbling jacuzzi tub without warning which scared THE LIFE out of me. Seriously, my nerves were shot all afternoon. I just felt an overall lack of awareness and care, which I think is important when your clients are in such a vulnerable setting. It seems my experience was unusual based on other reviews, but I found the regular customers definitely got better service than me as the new comer.: (

I came here for my birthday and wow I will come back. From the time I entered I felt zen and peace and everyone made me feel safe and very well sanitized. I did the package of the float and the massage. The float Immediately made me doze off and rest, clear my inner mind from every day life and stress. The robes were comfy after and I went up for my massage. My massage therapist was Lorenzo and he listened to my needs and checked in to make sure I was okay. Then hydrated after the session it was honestly the best experience. Thank you.

I've been coming here for a while. Love the Hemlock sauna cause it's big enough to do yoga/stretches in. Reflecting in the lounge afterwards is something I also look forward to. Very peaceful and grounding.

Love this place! It’s a little oasis of calm in the city and my favourite place for an infrared sauna and some quality ‘me’ time.

You get the sauna and shower all to yourself and they provide the electrolyte water (not plain) which is incredibly important when you are sweating so intensely. The shower gel they use smells *divine* and you also get a little container of salt body scrub to use after your session. The change area has everything you need (lit vanity, hairdryer, cotton, towels, makeup remover, lotion etc) if you’re heading somewhere that you need to look presentable after your appointment.

I find the staff to always be friendly and welcoming and the space is kept spotlessly clean. I’m a repeat customer and will keep returning.

Wow what a beautiful space. Very aesthetic which counts for me! Clean, friendly, calming, and full of crystals! What more could you ask for. I have Lyme disease and need detoxing and nervous system relaxing badly so this place is my new haven I highly recommend.

Still feel like I'm floating. I live near Halsa, and have walked by their Kits location countless times. Their website is very helpful, it tells you everything you need to know and even provides you with a virtual tour of the facility. I booked a session in a genesis pod online and today was the day. The facility has an amazing vibe to it, a tranquil spa like feel right on W 4th. The session starts with a tour of the building, you are shown the bathrooms, the float pods, the meditation room and the lounge. After that, you proceed to your pod for some instructions and off you go. Everything was very clean and very cared for. The float was out of this world, even now 4 hours later I am incredibly relaxed. I highly recommend this location and will be back for sure. I found it to be an excellent value.

40 dollars for an infrared sauna session, whereas I had one at gold's gym everyday plus a membership for 50 dollars a month. I don't understand the logic?

I head to Halsa to slow down and recharge. I highly recommend them for their care, and their facilities are so beautiful you will not regret your time. Perfect for a rainy day in Vancouver!

This was my first time visiting Halsa Spa, after looking at various positive reviews on-line, I can certainly say that this won't be my last visit to this wonderful place of relaxation!

After being served some flavoured tea before my treatments, the first part of my visit was using the float pool Ocean Cabin, which is a well-sized rectangular pool to move around in throughout the 90-minute period. You float on your back - after having experienced this a month ago in the Dead Sea in Israel, I had an idea of what to expect. A shower is outside the chamber and in your own private room. Music was calming and overall, it was a nice and pleasant experience. The spa gives you earplugs to wear, which is highly recommended.

The second part of my visit was an out-of-this-world massage by Ben, who greeted me warmly and gave a full body massage for 60 minutes with total professionalism and strong but gentle hands! I almost fell asleep a few times and didn't think about anything at all while having the treatment. I'm sure the other massage experts are just as wonderful as Ben was! I could barely get up from the table after the massage ended - that's how relaxing it was!

Finally, I relaxed in the infared sauna, which was nice.your own private sauna room with the shower outside of the sauna but in your private room - it is necessary to cool off several times during the 60-minute period. It was a wonderful and soothing experience!

This place is truly special. The saunas are perfect and the massages are incredible. I've had many massages from Eva and she is probably the best masseuse I've ever had. She helped me so much with pain in my body and I am forever grateful to her. The vibe at the spa is extremely peaceful and the staff are unassuming and gracious. The host upon hearing from me that the water from the showers did not come out very cold had the plumber there and next time I took a sauna, like magic, there was icy cold refreshing water to cool off afterward. I recommend this spa for anyone who has experienced trauma and is looking for soothing self-care in a sensitive environment. It's a very well thought out operation. I've been visiting this spa for nearly a year and it's been a huge part of my healing process.

Had a 90 minute message with Eva today. She was a fantastic masseuse and addressed all my problem areas. Felt so relaxed after.

From my 1st call to walking in for my sauna appointment the staff are great.
Place is super clean, spacious and I love it.
I'm going to have to try the massage. Keep up the amazing service.
