Halston Modular Homes Ltd

The Home we bought from Halston Homes had many issues, cheaply made. Our vents for our heat, and our central air, are made of paper dryer vents, huge mice problem. I called they said they will look into, but didn’t seem to care. Our heat for our place, was 800 for 2 months (obviously from horrible vents). Insulation below our house, was hanging under home so they didn’t insulate properly at all. Didn’t get gutters on our home, would have added them, if I knew we had to ask for them, thought that is something that should come with a home, as they are on blocks. Our fire place exploded in the middle of the night, from having a fire in fireplace (living room area). Roof cracking, and linoleum peeling throughout house.

Not happy, very costly now for repairs, buyers beware, and get home inspected properly, and read and go over every single detail

We couldn’t be happier with our new home! Such an amazing experience working with Halston Homes! Our sales guy Brent was so good to work with! With Covid delays and everything we always had great communication and updates on how the house was coming along!

Delivery and set up team were fantastic and very minor issues with the house were addressed and fixed.

I highly recommend halston! They're wonderfully incredible people and they go above and beyond in all aspects! Any issue I ran into they had it rectified or a plan in place right away. They were very courteous, understanding and respectful. They were there for me every step of the way! I love my home! I’ve had so many friends walk into my place, and say they can’t believe it’s a modular home.

If I could give these guys 10 stars I would! Kamloops definitely benefits from this hard working team who truly know their stuff. Nick and his staff are personable, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and also do their part to help out the community as well, which is a priority for me when looking for local shops to do business with. You can tell right away that this company’s quality control is top notch and they aren’t out to just sell you something, two thumbs up! Will spread the word!

Bought my home beginning of the year, things went as planned, a few delays but there is not much that can be done with what's going on (shortages, low supply of materials). My home is complete, i am happy and am enjoying my home. Thank you Nick and Tamara for all your help.

We purchased a modular from Halston through Brett Wasylik, and they went above & beyond for us. The process has been confusing and a learning experience but Brett was there every step of the way helping us with everything. Our home is almost at completion and we are so excited to move into our new beautiful home!

My wife and i didn't know were to begin when we purchased our land.
We struggled to get contractors to turn up for anything involved in getting a home stick built or modular.
Halston modular were the fourth dealer we had visited and until we got there feel we were still in the dark with everything.
Graham explained the set up and ordering process and spent time going through the homes with us.
After finding out they were selling the only Canadian owned Manufacture in Triple M and the only product with a 20-year warranty I was listening.
Then well before we ordered the home, he made an appointment to go through options with Tamara.
My wife felt Halston made this part very enjoyable and we felt very at ease with the process. I can only go with our experience, but my wife and I love our home and would like to thank the hole team at Halston.

Last year we started looking at modular homes. We were impressed with the homes Halston supplies from Triple-M. What we liked most, was that their base models had features that other manufacturers would consider an upgrade and Triple-M is the only one that comes with a 20 year warranty. It was important to us that they are 100% Canadian, and not foreign owned.
We were happy how accommodating Halston was with our needs and requests. Due to our property space restrictions and since we were putting it on a basement, we needed to make some complicated design changes. We were able to work with Haltson and Triple-M to get all we needed. It's always a process and they were patient with us. We received our home 3 months ago, we are happy with the layout; the finishing is beautiful. On final inspection it was Halston who noticed a few minor details that they insisted should be rectified, and when we moved in we noticed a dent in the flooring and the range hood that they arranged to have fixed as soon as they could. Who could ask for better service and integrity.

I talked to Brett Wasylik from Halston Homes regarding some basic info. He was friendly, helpful and respectful to what I was looking for!

Halston Modular Homes made this process so easy for us! Their entire team was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. This includes our Sales Person, the lady processing the order, and the set up people. We love our new home and we are very impressed with the quality of construction and finishing. My husband and I highly recommend Halston Modular Homes.

Dropped trailer off at wrong location and refused to come back wanted another $3500 for their error! Stay Clear of this company check their FB reviews too even worse!

Terribly designed, poorly built, and below average customer service. MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERYTHING IN WRITTING! And don't pay in full until your house is 100% done and ready to move in. Once paid any warranty work will take months to complete. If ever.

I just was at Halston homes and the two guys that I spoke with were very helpful, they donated some chimney pipe and flashing that will be used next month as we are fixing up a Backcountry emergency cabin for snowmobilers and ATVs. Thank to Halston Homes and their donation of the pipe it will bring us closer to completing our project. Thanks again, Doug Lahucik (Purple Fang Sled'n adventures)

Overall we had a good experience, but be sure everything is written down before you order your home (Do not take the salesmans word that you'll get something)
Everyone is very friendly. There are some things that didn't get done but they are good at communicating with us and trying to finish up our home to our satisfaction.
Nick went above and beyond for us and we are very thankful. Great customer service from him.
We highly recommend Halston Modular Homes.

The staff at Halston Homes were amazing from beginning to end. Very enthusiastic, helpful and willing to accommodate our needs. Obviously with any homes there are kinks but they worked with us to help to address any issues. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Great Job Halston Homes!

I am giving one star as that is the lowest rating. My experience with Halston Homes was so very frustrating. They live by the motto, the customer is always wrong. If you are looking for support once your home is delivered this is not the company for you. Currently, the carpets in every room have ripples in them. This is due to poor installation and also poor follow up with ensuring the space in the flooring, when the mobile halfs were joined, got filled in. Be aware that once the one year time frame has past, unaddressed issues that have been previously identified, will not be addressed. Definitely buyer be ware! We enjoy having our mobile home but the first thing we tell people is do not buy from Halston Homes.

I am thoroughly pleased with my home i purchased at the beginning of this year. I love my colors, the floor plan and it was so easy to work with the contractors for the touch ups we needed done. I am shocked to see negative reviews as ours was so pleasant. Thank you Halston Modular Homes for my amazing forever home!

This was a really disappointing experience. My husband and I just bought from this company. When we first met with Ron he was very accommodating of what we wanted and seemed like he was eager to bring my vision to life. However, that was not the case at all. It started with an email saying they ordered a completely wrong cabinet color for us. Thankfully it was resolved after a small fight to get what I was paying for. I let that slide as there will always be small issues in “building” a house. It came time for delivery of the home and my husband and I got the site prepared as we were informed the house was “done” and ready for delivery. Delivery day came.but no house. Not one email or phone call to comment on the delay, nothing. I had to email my sales rep to ask where the house was. Then he says the house was coming again on another date.which yet again Did not show up with no email or call to inform me. It ended up being delayed a month. Lastly. They built my house backwards, and REFUSED to pay even half of the cost that I ended up forking out to change the ramp onto my pad. So in the end I ended up paying over 3000$ for THEIR mess up. My house also came with the wrong shower and bathtub that I paid extra for.

Apart from Ron and the actual Halston homes company. Cody and Ryan who came on site to do all the work on the house were wonderful people and Cody worked so hard on my house fixing things he could!

Such a disappointing experience as this was my husband and Is first home we purchased together and Ron made it a disaster. I’d go to any other company next time!

Beautiful and modern, well made homes. The staff were all helpful and informative and very patient! We love that it is an all Canadian product too!

My husband Robert and I have the misfortune of dealing with Halston Homes. Our sales rep was Cheryl who left the company in August of 2017. We had to fight every step of the way dealing with Nick and Ron. The delivery was delayed over three months which resulted in us staying in a hotel. Updates that we paid for were cancelled. We were never offered an extended warranty, to which Ron said it's not worth the paper it's written on. The finished product is horrendous. It looks like a High School project. The cabinets are poorly installed and finished. The counter tops are chipped with gaps. The walls are crooked resulting in trim not fitting correctly and then pictures and mirrors not being flush to the wall. Doors are hard to close. Ceiling lights aren't centered electrical boxes crooked. I can go on and on. Everyone of our concerns was met with "industry standards". We are waiting for the balance of work to be completed outside. Run, never, never never deal with Nick and or Halston Homes. Before our house arrived they asked us if we wanted our money back. We had no idea what we were in for.

I have bought a few homes from Halston Modular homes over the years. They definitely had some issues with the American Skyline product. My advice to any consumer is to stay clear of American housing. However, Halston Modular Homes did what they could to overcome any deficiencies. Any bad reviews should have been directed to the manufacturer Skyline homes. I find Nick and his staff very accommodating and easy to deal with. The most recent home that we purchased was a Triple M home built in BC. This is by far the best home we have ever owned! The finishing and construction is awesome. We love our new home. And it has a 20 year warranty. I am sure more very positive reviews will follow now that Halston Modular Homes is selling such a nice product built here in BC

I have known of this business for several years and have recommended clients to talk with the owners and the managers because of their fast and effective service. They were not only intelligent, they were friendly and made me feel like a valued customer. Therefore, I wanted to tell others about some of the options they might have to go and buy a modular from the best team in town. I think it is a feasible option to get into a modular and I loved how this group presented it with their homes and services available to me. I never knew about this and was pleasantly surprised. I am happy to say living in a modular is a great new way of life that is not only affordable but modern and comfortable overall. Please take a chance and use this company if you are considering going in this direction, you won't find a better dealership.
