Wanted my wedding band and engagement ring soldered together, the claws retired, and a small diamond replaced.
The claws were the only thing done correctly. The diamond had a noticeable imperfection, and you could see the black spot inside. The curved wedding band was soldered on backward (it can be flipped both ways for a different look, and I specifically asked for it to be done the way I like it). To top it all off, the wedding band was put on crooked and doesn't line up with the engagement ring.
I asked them to do it again and flip the wedding band. Came back a week later and nothing was different. I then asked to have them separated as I didn't like the way they were put together, and I was promised to have it fixed by 2pm the next day. I came to pick it up the next day, and nothing was different. These people may be capable of changing watch batteries, but do not trust them with your jewelry! That was a few hundred dollars down the drain!
Took it to another jeweler, and they did it exactly the way I asked, and it looks perfect! No thanks to Hammond.

If I could write less than one star, I would, the service is horrific. Never have I ever been treated so poorly and the quality of the jewelry is terrible. Went in requesting one product and was sold something for a double the price of much less value that looks nothing like the picture given. Left feeling totally taken advantage of will never return to shop at the store again and will let every single person I know know not to shop at this establishment.

Needed to get my ring resized and was recommended to Hammond jewellers. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the ring was resized faster then the time they quoted me. Really well priced, would recommend to others

We have been dealing with Hammond Jewellers for 30+ years. Following a recent ring repair and 4 trips to get it right, I will not be returning. I spoke to the new owner to make her aware of the issues and was very disappointed in her response, and felt like she was blaming us for their errors. Customer service is lacking with the new ownership.

GIANT sign saying all Pandora stock 60% off - everything must go! Picked out three charms. Got to the til and was told: oh no, only the keychains are 60% off. Not the first time Hammond has done something misleading, but it's the last time I'll spend money there.

In response to the Owner's reply: Nope, they were not. Hence my review.

Do not waste your time here. After the experience I had, I will never be referring this business to anyone.

The staff here was fantastic very friendly, very professional. But it was a hard swallow to spend $65 on two watches for batteries. They told me the jeweler had to change the batteries so that’s what cost more but it would’ve been nice to have them asked me first before they did that. I still recommend Hammond jewelers for the purchase of fine jewelry, or the repair of jewelry. They’ve always been fantastic.

Brought my engagement ring in to be fixed as it was missing a diamond and the prongs for the diamond that was missing were ruined, I was quoted 12-14 days and it came back fixed within two days! It looks beautiful and brand new. I was charged the quoted price which was only $130 plus tax- so happy with it and the cost, would definitely go back again if anything were to break on my ring again

Hammond Jewellers has been my go to place for jewelry, sizing, repairs and jewelry cleaning for 45 years. The service is professional, and quick and I totally trust them for appraisals & service. I love that they are a local independent business.

Not empressed. Expensive but not many other options. Staff are not very good. 2 times may never be a 3rd. Will look for another jeweler.

We normally deal with your store. Today we came in to get a ring repaired. Your representative advised only deal with gold or silver. Said the ring was not. Well we went up to Maple Ridge and found a jeweler, he checked it out. Mexican silver and yes he repaired and professionally and promptly.

Friendly people, ready to help. Repaired my watch band while I waited. Great price for that service!
