Staying in that hotel was a great experience.
But there is only one thing I found which is not appropriate is lighting. There is only 1 light in the entire room in the entrance.
And there was only 2 small lamps near the bed.

Had a great stay with our team at this hotel. They were very accommodating. Parking on the weekend days was an issue but other than that, our stay was good.

We washed a small load of clothes there but I don't think the temperature setting for the washing machine water is working correctly. Maybe it is a plumbing issue? We selected a cold wash and when I went to dry and bring back some clothes to hang dry they felt warm coming out of the wash. Avoid this machine if you don't want to shrink your clothes.

What a great 'pet-welcoming' hotel! Our experience was fantastic! Milkbones at checkin, a clean room with new modern decor, friendly 'not in your face' staff, great pool facility with an exciting
waterslide. The breakfast was great with eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, cake loaves slices, toast, make your own waffle station complete with whip cream and sprinkles and more. The best was the amazing staff in the breakfast area. Gina and Appu were amazing! Kept everything stocked up, clean and so, so very friendly and helpful. They came around and did last call before closing the doors to the kitchen. Actually, the doors never really closed. They welcomed late arrivals to come in and get breakfast even if they were a little late. What a nice treat for young families trying to 'heard the cats' so to speak. I could go on but nobody wants to read an essay. The management at this hotel must be amazing to retain such great staff to lead. Great job Hampton by Hilton in Kamloops! It was truly a pleasure to end our Christmas break with your establishment.

We had our truck stolen from this hotel, while it was parked 40 ish feet from the front door. We realize the theft itself wasn't the hotels fault, however their lack of cameras was, their camera covered barely anything. After the truck was stolen I asked the front desk if they've ever had this before, they said yes, and they've had fuel tanks drilled. So why is security not better? The costumer service was lacking I think.

Travel through a snow storm to get there to arrive to a great room! Spacious, clean and quiet area. Had a great experience at this location breakfast was good, beds were comfy.

Service was very slow. Only person was at front to checkin 6 people. Took an half hour for checkin.

We had a pleasant stay here for 3 nights. Our room on the 4th was clean, especially the carpet and washroom. Bed was comfortable but pillows were a bit flat. We booked for a "City View" and that's exactly what we got. The AC worked really well - cold brrr. Also liked the fact that after a hot day hiking outside, we can chill at the pool (with a slide!). The complimentary breakfast was a bonus - lots of variety like yogurt, cereal, waffle, sausages and eggs, bread, muffins, apple/bananas etc.

The worst parking lot, small, awkward and very tight spaces. Could have been cleaner. Room didn't have soap so we asked housekeeping for some, she said the hotel ran out of soap. Went down to the desk and asked for soap and they gave us some right away. ‍️

We enjoyed our stay pervious times at the Hampton Inn, and this time was no different. The room was spacious and nicely renovated. We all slept great in the comfortable beds. The location is great because the are restaurants and the mall very close. And getaway in the morning is quick because the freeway us right there. Kids loved the pool - it was their favourite this year. Breakfast was awesome - cinnamon roll waffles! A couple oddities - upon arrival our bathroom had only 2 mostly used rolls of toilet paper and there was no new roll to be found in the room. Front desk was happy to provide another roll. Also, the tub drain was plugged to the point where i was standing ankle deep in water at the end of my shower. Hampton Inn is recommended and we'll stay here again.

I frequent Hamptons across the country and this is the worst one I've stayed at by far. The ethernet port didn't work, no shampoo or conditioner, the curtain smelled of mildew, no garbage can and the room was 25° when I arrived. It took 8 hours to cool down. The business center doesn't work. I couldn't print or connect to a browser. The breakfast was poor quality and very limited. The front desk was extremely rude when I asked for assistance connecting to wifi.

At least they had a bed.

I do not recommend staying here. Especially at the current rates.

The small details were missing, which made me wonder what else they had missed. The desk phone was tucked in behind the lamp. The bedside radio was facing backwards. The pillows weren't stacked the same on both beds. I didn't think much about it but then I found food containers in the fridge from a previous guest. This really made me wonder what other steps they were skipping. When I went to breakfast, a staff members was sitting and playing on their phone rather than restocking anything. Again, what else were they not paying attention to? I decided to get breakfast elsewhere.

Pool looked good and there were always people in it but I didn't get a chance to use it though I'd hoped to and was one reason I choose this hotel.

Seeing the mixed reviews on other sites, perhaps there are particular staff members that are more careful than others and without any uniformity of service, everyone's experiences could be different. Yes, staff shortages are a problem right now - I get that - but even with a short staff, team leadership can solve most of these problems. I will choose another property next time.

Great facility but extremely poor service. With 3 kids we went to the breakfast a bit late at 9: 45 am July 16, the server saw us and quickly removed the food from station, and tried to make big noise cleaning the floor. The last line was epic: sorry it’s time and we have to kick you out. Unforgettable experience, thank you Hempton Inn Kamloops.

Nice hotel, house keeping didn't take garbage or leave clean towels during our 4 day stay, horrible location and no security. Locks and chains were cut in their parking lot and my wife's $7,000 Down hill mountain bike was stolen right out of our truck while we slept. My dark blue F350 also was deeply scratched down the box, nice foot long ding. Our holiday was a sad trip home, should have stayed with family rather then treat my wife and kids too a 1200$ stay in a hotel only to be robbed and have my loved Modified F350 damaged.

We booked with you 100% as a reward to our kids for traveling in the car for 10 hours.that they could go on the slide. When i asked to cancel my reservation as the pool and slide were our of commision i was denied. The staff were friendly and offered to let us use a sister hotels pool, but having to walk our kids to another pool, without a slide and be offered nothing as composition was disapointing. I both called and booked online only hours before booking and neither mentioned the pool being closed.

This hotel is absolutely what you've been looking for. Especially if you are a sports team looking for a chill environment with big rooms and lots of extra space. The staff here are friendly and accomodating. The pool and hot tub are open until midnight! They also have free breakfast. Our sports team had a tournament in Kamloops and this hotel was so chill. We used the breakfast room for our "parents meeting" till laaaaate. Never a complaint from staff. I would 150% stay here again.

Very bad experience. The AC was not working all night. I had 2 young kids who couldn't sleep all night. They never offered us a different room. Morning comes, the manager finally came to check and told us she will do whatever she can to compensate us. When the time came to talk she literally gave us a $25 gift card for gas.and told us she cant do anything else. Argued with us and told us she can't do anything else. Really bad experience!

Staff and facilities absolutely fantastic. Made me feel very welcome and also made feel they cared about me as an individual. Would highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay.

The beds and pillows were excellent, the pool was smaller than expected and used well by small children. The breakfast was ok, not exceptional. Dogs were barking outside my room which was a surprise I didn't expect to find while staying at the hotel.

Got stuck in the rickety elevator on our first trip up to the room (reading other reviews, it looks like this has happened before), my kids started freaking out. The alarm button didn't work. Had to call the front desk from my cell phone. She just said "oh, I'll get it going right away". She failed to mention that whatever she did to get it going would shut the lights off and leave us in pitch black. No backup emergency light or anything. My youngest had a panic attack. It's been a week since the incident and he won't even go into a bathroom with the door closed now. We did mention it to the lady at the front desk at checkout because our youngest wouldn't go into the elevator again. We had to use the stairs for the rest if our stay. She offered us a kinder surprise. Aside from that, the bathroom fan wouldn't turn off so it ran all night. The hallways and doors were really dingy, like an old apartment building. The price was jacked for the long weekend so we were very much overcharged at $245 plus taxes a night.

Second time I've stayed here in the last few months. Got to tell you I love the service and the rooms are excellent.

The pool is now open and you've got to book your time. Its the same for the gym.
Take away breakfast was available as hot breakfast is not available for now. Maybe after the COVID restrictions ease up some more.

This is my local staycation place. Beds are comfy.love the pillows.this time my room was front facing which has a nice view. But I prefer quiet. So next time I will request the back side.
This visit wasn't the greatest tho. We got stuck in the elevator. The phone in the elevator rang busy. I was able to call front desk on my phone, and they got us out. And everytime we came back to the hotel, it smelled of pot.

Our room was spotless! The beds are very comfy. Every single staff did a great job and was super friendly and I even noticed their friendliness and professionalism when they had to deal with a very difficult, rude couple. We enjoyed the breakfast very much and I can't talk highly enough about the staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

Fulfilled the standards I have experienced with Hampton Hotels, prompt friendly service, helpful staff, clean and comfortable room. Only suggestion in the restrictions of Covid-19, having the breakfast options posted for the following morning to eliminate having to lineup to order and pick up. Otherwise our stay was top-notch as always.

The only hotel that would give my grandson and I a room during the last freak snow storm. (I don't have a visa). Friendly. Staff. Great hot breakfast and comfy beds

Room smelled strong of room spray or perfume bottle maybe broke in there. We woke up with headaches. Would probably go back anyways once the slide is open during our stay.

A+. Love the colors, clean, comfy, and so welcoming. Subtle happy vibes on the welcome mat and thruout. Toiletries are actually useful and devices are easy to maneuver. Im impressed. Thanks Hilton WTG

Had to book a time slot for the pool hot tub which was fine until I showed up at 10: 05 pm for my booked time to find out it was booked for someone else and there was no record of my booking although I was 100% booked for 10: 05-10: 35. Whoever checked me in around 5pm on March 18,2021 must have decided to give my spot away to someone else. I only stayed one night and had my heart set on a hot tub and was the only reason I booked at Hilton so my only option was to stay up until 11: 15- 11: 45 pm to hit the pool and then get up early for an all day drive. I suggest you get something signed when booking a time slot for the amenities to ensure a focused effort

The customer service was excellent, room rates were great, the room itself was clean/spacious, and breakfast is included (though I did not have the time to check it out). I would highly recommend this hotel.

We needed a hotel to stop over on our way to vancouver island. The rooms where very clean and the staff was excellent! They recommended a very nice restaurant; however, the restaurant forgot the cutlery with our take out. The hotel staff insured we had cutlery plates and napkins. It was quiet and peaceful; we would stay again.

We would stay here again. The room was comfortable and clean. It was well setup for covid, with extra cleaning and even a cardboard cover on the TV remote indicating it had been sanitized. Breakfast took a little longer because staff had to take orders and we needed to wait to be individually served. Overall, it was well setup and professionally run.
