Hampton Inn by Hilton Vancouver-Airport/Richmond

Great location but the hotel is kinda old. Good for 1-2 persons but too small for a family of 4. Front desk said all rooms are the same size. The closet is the smallest I have seen.

Very safe feeling

Only bad:
Buffett Waffles where not available and the staff could have been more attentive on restocking it

Would stay again

Staff are dishonest and unhelpful. I had left my wallet in the hotel room and when I called the hotel to inquire about my wallet, they seemed disinterested and unwilling to help. After calling again multiple times and being promised to be transferred to a manager I was ignored and had no one call me or contact me back. In the end no one has reached out or even showed the slightest concern for my missing property or even what really happened even if it weren't their housekeeping staff that found and took the wallet.

The experience here was delightful. The staff were friendly, rooms clean and was able to get a room upgrade. They had a paid shuttle to the cruise port and free shuttle from airport. Special touches was the apple cinnamon waffles and pineapple coconut water for breakfast. All made our stay enjoyable.

Chambre pas très grande mais correcte avec salle de bain attenante. Par contre les tapis en sortant de l’ascenseur (on était au 2e étage) sont tachés. Quelques restaurants aux alentours à distance de marche. À environ 10 min de marche de la station de Skytrain. Petit déjeuner chaud le matin et navette gratuite jusqu’à l’aéroport. Comptez environ 10-15 min pour arriver à YVR.

In not a good area. Rooms are dated. Bathroom shower moldy. Carpets are nasty. Bed coverlet were worn and fraid. Blood stains on duvet. NOT THE HAMPTON INN STANDARD. Hilton will be getting an email.

Poor hygiene, found two beds with hair, called the front desk to tell me that there is no room to change, can provide two new sheets, but have to go to the front desk to get them, the service quality is not good

My daughter left a sentimental piece of clothing in the room after flying home to Wisconsin. I called the hotel staff and they were of no help whatsoever, nor suggested any solutions. They told me they’d leave the item in lost and found and I would have to hire a shipping service to come and pick it up and ship it, again no suggestions of this “shipping service. ” So very disappointed in the lack of any kind of assistance. We were not expecting a free service, and willing to pay for any service and shipping, but alas no help.

We have also stayed at the Hampton Inn near Kelowna airport and there was a distinct difference. The front desk staff at this hotel are not friendly and seem disinterested. We were not welcomed by text when we arrived or communicated with at all. The room was clean though and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was okay but only mild weak blend coffee was available not medium or dark roast. Free parking and free breakfast is a real plus but for the price they could do better.

Clean room, AC, tea and coffee station in the lobby and free hot breakfast! Also a surprisingly short drive for a day trip into Vancouver.

Reliable. In a good way. + Close enough to a SkyTrain station, I can still experience Vancouver without having to actually find a hotel in Vancouver.

We arrived late at night after a long 2 days of travelling to find hair and stains on the bedding, and hair in the sink. When we confronted management about it, we were told that everything was cleaned and to “just remove the hair”. We are too exhausted and it is too late to go to another hotel or else we would. Very unhappy with our experience today.

Rooms are a bit small however updated recently. My biggest issue is the electrical plugs, very loose on almost every plug. In general good service.

We typically stay at Hampton Inn or any hotel associated with Hilton honors. The location was great. It is literally close to everything. Within walking distance-to Richmond Night Market and the popular shopping centers. However I would not recommend walking anywhere since the streets are really busy. The rooms were smaller than usual. Amenities were tiny-although you can always request extra. Parking wasn’t too bad. We were disappointed with the continental breakfast-usually it’s been fantastic at the other locations we have stayed at. The croissants were stale and coffee was weak. With that said, we’d still come back and stay since it’s a great location.

Nice beds, near airport. Air Canada put me up here when a maintenance issue made me miss my connection.

The room is clean and comfortable, and free breakfast is also available. There is no bottled water in the room. I don’t know if it’s the head office’s regulation or to reduce expenses. This is not very humane. The front desk staff’s face is full of reluctance

Quick overnight stay vlose to the airport shuttle staryed early and we caught the 4: 30am to the airport. Worked for what our family neede.

Listen, this is exactly what it is. A clean, well run hotel really close to the airport. The shuttle service to the airport was perfect. Make sure you sign up for it and don’t just assume they will be running ever half hour. Staff were great. Plenty of food options within walking distance. We stayed here on our last night and had a 6am flight. It’s a perfect place for that or just a lower cost alternative to places closer to the city. Metro station is less than 5 minute walk.

The hotel is part of the Hilton hotel system and appears to be a "motel" class.
It is about 5 kilometers away from the airport, and there is a shuttle bus between the airport and the airport, reservation is required.
Opposite the hotel is a large Chinese supermarket, and there are also several chain fast food restaurants. It is only a 5-minute walk from Costco, so the living function is not bad. The nearest MRT station is about 10 minutes walk.
The size of the room is not too big, with two double beds; however, in other spaces, it is obviously limited to open two larger suitcases at the same time. To put it bluntly, it is too narrow to turn around. Wi-Fi connection is also a bunch of problems.
The rooms facing the side of the road have poor sound insulation. The sound of vehicles passing by on the road at night can be heard.
The young handsome guy at the counter has an excellent service attitude, and one star is added.
Standard American breakfast with 24 hour coffee at the counter.

Convenient. Close to the airport, free breakfast, free coffee all day! Fast food across the street.

The only pro about this hotel was its proximity to the airport.
The room was not clean. There was hair in the bed, in the shower, in the sink and there was a used napkin left on the desk chair. We were there for such a short time and we were too exhausted to move rooms so I cleaned it myself but it was definitely the worst Hilton or Hampton (or hotel) experience I’ve had. It was noisy to boot.

Ideal location for a layover in Vancouver, 5 minutes in a free shuttle bus, take aways and liquor store opposite. Very good breakfast buffet.
