Keeping my eyebrows even when putting brow gel is quite challenging, so I recently had the Ombre Powder Procedure at Hanaimo Beauty & Academy. I also had my Lip blush done as well. Huyen, is an expert in such detailed procedure. She demonstrated exceptional skill and gentleness throughout. I felt comfortable as she worked, and the result was impressive. The enhancement of my beauty exceeded my expectations!

She is amazing! Huyen helped me choose the right type of brow style to do and one that would work with my oily skin. She did the ombre powder brows on me and it looked so good! I have very light, sparse brows that are very uneven. She made it work and evened them out. There was little to no pain and she made sure to check with me every step of the way to ensure that I was happy and liked it. Her expertise on permanent makeup, especially ombre powder brows made it easy for me to choose her! I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking to do permanent makeup.

I had my brows initially micro bladed a few years ago (in another province) and they were starting to fade. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do the microblading touch up or go with powder ombre. Hananimo was amazing with helping choose the right treatment for me, she was very thorough, did a FABULOUS job, and followed up with my aftercare. I'm very picky with my brow shape and color, and i am even pickier with who I'd let work on my brows. I am so thrilled and happy with my results. We ended up with doing Powder Ombre! I highly recommend Hananimo Beauty & Academy. I definitely will be back for my touch up, and probably other treatments as well.

Omg! This woman is SOOO TALENTED; I been to a few eyelash techs and when I finally came to her she gave me everything I wanted and would be such a perfectionist that they would be just so great Everytime, now I’m over 6 months of getting her amazing eyelashes and I couldn’t be happier, also she helped make my eyebrows ready for my streaming! Which helps so much as they were INVISIBLE AMD SHE DID THE BEST JOB EVER! I can’t even lol I highly recommend!

I have been looking for an eyebrows artist in Nanaimo ever since I moved to the island. I had 3 technicians in the past in Vancouver they were all great, but Huyen is by far the best; she is a "perfectionist". She is incredibly thorough during the initial drawing phase; she takes time and made sure the right & left are 100% symmetrical and the arch of the eyebrows is on point, she is a true artist.
During the procedure, her touch on my face was so subtle and gentle, every stroke she makes is intentional.
I couldn't be happier with the result; I look so beautiful and finally have eyebrows!:)
Also she is so warm and sweet; I felt so welcomed and treated like a queen. Definitely coming back. Thank you so much Huyen:)

I get my eyelashes done by Huyen. She also tints my eyebrows, and did my moms powder brows. She is such a blissful person and makes you feel incredibly comfortable. My eyelashes always look AMAZING after each visit with her, her products are very high quality my eyelashes last so long. She is very experienced at what she does and is completely passionate about her work. She is very good at working around your schedule if it’s desperately needed. Huyen is absolutely a master. She is the 4th person to do lip blush on me. All were a complete disaster. With Huyen, the pre care, procedure and after care are so different from previous. She is a perfectionist. I cannot wait to have my brows corrected by Huyen as well. I spend so much time concealing and hiding previous work which honestly went from bad to worse. Thankfully I met Huyen, however, she would not correct until I had majority removed as she wants them to look great. I’m now in the process of laser removal (that’s another story) and hopefully in a couple months I’ll get the correction. Anyone considering permanent makeup, please don’t go though the same journey that I’ve been on. Trust me and go to Huyen️

I must say, huyen is one of the best person i have ever met. I went there for lip blush and she treated me so well. I totally forgot at the moment that we just met. And the environment she created over there was so calm and soothing as well? ️️i believe choosing her for my treatment is worth it.
