Hand and Sew Leather Supply + Workshop

I've been searching for some of the more rare/limited edition Ritza Tiger thread colours. Ritza Tiger thread is my favourite thread for all of my leathercraft creations. Let me tell you - I was SOOOOOO EXCITED to stumble across Hand and Sew Leather Supply's website because I found EXACTLY what I wanted! My order shipped out immediately and it arrived in record time. On top of all of that, they also included a super sweet and generous little freebie/goodie bag which honestly just added even more excitement when opening up my thread! This shop is such a gem! Everything in there feels thoughtfully curated and the supplies are priced extremely well. Steven is so genuinely helpful and clearly cares about all the products that he sells. While it isn’t our closest leather supply store, we think it’s worth the drive for quality leather, tools, hardware, and advice!

This is a wonderful gem of a shop. It has everything any professional or hobbiest leather worker could need, from gorgeous hides, to hardware, to completed pieces expertly crafted. Steven is a master of his craft and a wealth of knowledge and I promise I'm not biased ;)

Good quality items! Everyone esp Steven are very helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable.

They restored my vintage LV Noe bag beautifully! It was a tough job but they took such care matching and dyeing the leather. I highly recommend them!

Great prices for leather, average for hardware and though the selection of hardware isn't huge its all stuff I would use and they have some really neat ones I haven't seen at tandy or lonsdale leather. The dude working there was very friendly as well, bonus!

Been to this little but amazing shop twice.
I have to say I'm never going downtown to get my supplies anymore.
Steven is super friendly, has great prices and doesn't try to sell you useless stuff
Instead he listensand helps you buy.unlike other places I've been to that sold me a starter kit and half the stuff is junk.

I've been getting a lot of my leather, hardware and tooling from Hand and Sew since I started. Steven has always been super helpful, and seems more than happy to answer all my questions too. Nicely packaged super fast shipping is a bonus for meeting deadlines.

What a great little store tucked away in New West! I was very much just stopping there on my way home from work cause I wanted some more buckles. It looked like it had good reviews and so I took a chance and it was worth it! Steve's a pretty great person, very knowledgeable and willing to not only help, but go out of his way to do so! Showed me some techniques for burnishing and just blew me away. Almost spent a hundred bucks with his help and I do not regret my purchases because they are GREAT. 153/153, go there for your leather working needs!

Both my husband and myself really enjoyed our tote bag class with Steve. Steve is extremely knowledgeable and very willing to share his ideas and information with us.
