Been trying to find a place to study and saw this on tiktok, there were a lot of people when i came in but overall it was a great experience and it really fits the aesthetic for studying

The female clerk had a stinky face. I politely left a tip.but no thank you. The boss should train her. Zhongken suggested.

Really well-decorated bubble tea place, with seating on a mezzanine level. The bubble tea itself tasted fairly standard, but they also have a range of pastries that look really good. Only had the bubble tea to go this time round, but this would definitely be a good place to come and have dessert with a friend! It's also worth noting that the bubble tea is less sweet and has a stronger tea flavour than a lot of the chain bubble tea places, so if you usually get 30% sugar maybe go with 50% or 70%.

Milk tea paradise is good news for Chinese people. There are many milk tea shops in this small place. Although it has not fully evolved to the domestic level, it is still very authentic. This time, my last stop for two days and one night in Vancouver with my friends was this Hanlin milk tea shop. There were people queuing up. There was an endless stream of people, and I ordered a cup of yangzhi nectar and Uji matcha. The appearance and taste were both outstanding, and it was delicious in seconds.

I also bought a box of pork floss and clams, which is soft and delicious. Compared with Master Bao’s pork floss, it is a bit sticky because it is frozen, and the custard is a little thinner. However, the combination of pork floss and cake is really unbeatable, said a resident of Seattle. I am very jealous of the Greater Vancouver area. Why is the living standard so different even though it is not far away?

Got the slush and fruit tea - slush drinks were okay, might be a little bland even with regular sugar and ice levels; pretty average for the price of it. Not sure what I was expecting but it was already separated when they served it.

There was no tea flavor in the oolong milk tea. I ordered 50% sweetness, and it tasted like other places' 20%. That was alright since I prefer it to be not that sweet. But the pearls and milk tea have no flavor at all. The cake was sponge cake.not mousse (which I had expected from looking at it). My friend and I shared the cake and we left 80% of it (yes, waste, but it was that bad.) I was so disappointed since I had seen a food blogger's IG recommending it. Each drink is prob $9 too

Had the Oreo slush which was decent, but mostly ice. The brown sugar drink was just milk and some pearls, the pearls weren't even cooked through, hard and dry on the inside! The matcha roll swiss cake was really bitter and not sweet at all, no flavour of any kind, the only hazelnut taste was from the toppings. 100% not coming back, avoid.

I can’t count how many times I’ve ordered their brown sugar milk tea ice cream smash from here ️ this will always be my favourite

Lemon jade green tea was okay at best. Got this tiger skin chocolate cake, it was really gross and super chewy. It was very overpriced at $10 and probably the worst cake I've ever had.

I love this cafe! This cafe has a great selection of drinks, for milk tea lovers to fruit drinks. They also offer cakes, but I like their teas more. The employees are nice too! It’s my go-to for studying now. I really like how there’s two levels & how it’s well ventilated. It’s small and cozy.

We got the matcha roll cake and peach with foam drink. The matcha roll cake was really matcha. It contained just the right amount of matcha. The outside was a little hard (made it hard to cut) but other than that I really liked the texture. The inside was nice and fluffy not overly dry. The cream was creamy and not overly sweet.

The peach with foam drink was okay. It wasn't overly sweet as I asked for 50% sugar but it didn't really taste like peaches at all. The foam was nice and savoury.

Overall a cute place to hang out with friends over a dessert but definitely on the pricier side of things.

The paper straw is unable to use for plastic sealled lid, wet my pants. Less sugar is still super sweet. I cannot really taste the milk nor the tea. Pearls taste really hard.

I went there on Monday Aug. 15,2022, staff are really helpful with excellent service. I ordered Thai milk tea cake and matcha roll both of them are really good! Will definitely come back again.

I always order the mango coconut slush and the quality is always consistent. The cakes are also amazing because they are not too sweet.

Sorry to say. All the drinks ordered by our group were not good. Everyone complained about the taste.

I ordered Watermelon Cheese drink and I like it a lot. This will be the summer drink of this year. The combination of saltiness and sweetness is perfect. The interior design of this place is impressive. When I got inside this tea house I felt like I travelled to somewhere else. Thanks for making a nice place to unwind. They have cakes and "high tea" set you can order as well. Sunday to Thursday closes at 9pm Friday and Saturday closes at 10pm.

I got a milk tea with herbal jelly and it wasn't good, I didn't even finish my drink. The cafe itself is big and is great for studying, especially with the seating upstairs. Not sure how good their dessert is but I'd definitely go elsewhere if you're craving boba.

Great drinks, good cakes, just the hours of opening are limited (who closes at 9pm on the weekend? !) and there is a limited seating. Otherwise it would probably be the best bubble tea in richmond.

Wouldn’t say they have the best drinks but it’s nice to study here.wish the music was a bit softer though.it’s a bit loud upstairs

Two of my go-to drinks are Jade Green tea with Yakult and Pearls, and Mango and Grapefruit Tea Slush with Coconut Milk and White Pearls - so yummy!

I had the lemon green tea and brown sugar pearls machiatto. Both were pretty good. Pearls were nice and chewy not overcooked. Nice clean environment.

Good selection of tea. I love it, it’s not just green/black tea but also oolong and tieguanyin. Good variety! The place is cozy and I love the decoration as well. Haven’t get to try the cake this time so definitely coming back!

This place is so beautiful and the drinks are tasty. The server was polite and smiled a lot. This place was packed but well worth the wait.

Staffs have no idea what they are doing. Took them 25 mins to make my drinks. Horrible experience and will not visit again.

One of the best dessert shops in Greater Vancouver. Staff are friendly and had an overall great experience. Would highly recommend on trying!

Delicious desserts as well as the drinks. Brown sugar pearls and Hokkaido cake really blew me away. Great aesthetic with the design of the place too, very welcoming.

We tried the Formule afternoon tea tray/box from Hanlin. There is a sign saying it is only available from noon to 6pm I think? They let us have it even though it was around 10pm. Cost: 19.99

The mango cake was exceptionally flavorful. I enjoyed everything in this set.
-strawberry mille feuille (it seemed more like a raspberry cream something)
-tropical opera (this was the mango thing)
-cranberry scone
-spicy salmon roe sandwich
-apple chicken croissant
-beef radish toast

The upstairs (2nd floor) has a nicer seating area than the downstairs. I really appreciated being able to find a place that does a quickie afternoon tea.

Parking is available in a medium sized lot but shared with all the other stores in the large strip.

Really great option for bubble tea and cake. Nice decor, beautifully designed. Very different style and menu from the Hanlin in Taiwan.

I love the jade green tea with cheese foam, can taste the great tea flavor that I never tasted at other bubble tea shop in Vancouver! Highly recommended!

The layout of the shop is quite cute. It felt bright and clean. They have really cute desserts as well, but they are quite pricey. My friend and I got the peach and the hokkaido. I have to say.they were quite disappointing, especially at almost $8 each for a small piece. Imagine just eating spoonfuls of cream.that's pretty much what they were.just cream. All presentation.nothing else. The tea was better. Their salty cheese cream was really good. But in terms of taste, I dont think there is anything that stands out from other bubble tea places.rather go to other places. Okay to drop by and try their bbt, but not worth trying the dessert unless you really like cream.

Really good desserts and the drinks were fantastic. Service was fantastic as well. Definitely coming back again and would recommend this place!
