Hannam Supermarket(Surrey)

I usually have no issues here, but yesterday, an older female cashier at till 2 or 3 at around 6-7 p.m took my partners tote bag without asking and opened it to see if we were stealing while we were paying for our items wtfff. I wonder if it's because he's a dark skin asian.

Nice little Korean groceries store to get food and other asian related food. I find it however, quite expensive comparing to other similar stores.

Tend to jack up their prices during pandemic on most essential products by a few “folds”.

Hannam used to be my favourite supermarket, since the meat quantity and food. However, I won’t recommend anyone to shop at this store. The employee here are extremely rude. When I check out, I found the price is wrong and ask for price check. The person who help me to check the price is super rude. She told me that the price is place in the wrong place but the told me when I am shopping I should check whether the price is in the right place by myself. They also told me they are busy, and they do not have time to check the price. But I cannot find any other price under it, how can I check it by myself? They told me several times that they had no mistake, and I should do the price check by myself. I feel uncomfortable about their attitude, and decide to complain to the customer service. However, even I complained to the customer service, that person still refuse to say sorry to me since their rude behaviour. I will never shop at Hannam anymore. I also recommend the people who don’t want to expect to have similar experiences avoid to shop in this store.

Some advertised items were not always available on the first day of the sales. Other than that, Hannam has excellent selections of Asian/Korean fresh and frozen food products.

I would not go to this place to buy anything from them two employees don't know anything and they do not help and if you don't understand Chinese I wouldn't go here the employees are very rude and disrespectful

Thought I had their points card but it was Hmarts card, cashier held my order and sent me to applied for there card. Thank you nice cashier.

Bought delicious meal of kimchi soup, japchae and marinated beef with bean sprouts, seaweed salad and marinated tofu, burdock tea.

Great selection and pricing for hot pot beef and Korean snacks. Aisles are tight and hard to practice social distancing as other cutomers are lining up along the aisles towards the cash registers.

I really like this place! Has a decent variety of produce, protein, and other Korean products. The staff in particular has been super helpful and kind when I've needed help finding something. My only criticism of this place is that I wish there were a wider variety of vegetables, and a bakery like other Korean supermarkets.

You can find all different kind of seafood here, and food that's not offered at regular grocery store.

Parking is a number one issue. The landlord does not care. When winter comes there will be more accidents of cars coming when it becomes dark. Many different Asians buy Korean food and Korean food is popular. The owner should be smart. Be like HMart they are smart and they find land or a used supermarket. The owner at HMart knows how to find good parking. I should give this store zero starts.

Amazing selection throughout the store, with very reasonable prices. Check out their sushi selections. You'll be amazed. We love their store branded kimchi and hot food take home offers.

One of the widest local selection of Asian products in one place; some great deals, but some items are more expensive than in other stores. You need to know your prices!

You can find lots of Korean foods and snacks here. The price of some products, such as vegetables, is cheaper than in Superstore. The traditional Korean hotpot material, pork, kimchi, and soup are very fresh and delicious, it’s a good idea to buy them home, make a wonderful dinner and share with friends and family, btw, it doesn’t cost too much for it.

Good place to shop if you need Korean specialties or just asian things in general. Competetively priced.
