Happy Jack's Restaurant

I love how nice, relaxed and homey this restaurant is. Our server was Saisha (so sorry I don't know how to spell that name) Food and atmosphere was so delicious! Alcoholic beverages were super awesome too. Definitely recommend and decent priced too

Great people, good service and good food. Thursday fish and chips with beer is worth a visit.

I love your wings! Probably one of the best in Parksville.
But I do have to say that no dip comes with them when every place I have been to includes a dip. Now I don't mind ordering dip but your price for a small dip on the side is outrageous.
Maybe include a dip with them. Since I always get salt and pepper, with hot sauce and ranch on the side. Now if I was to get hot wings I'd have that sauce for free anyways so 1.25 per dip that is very small is alot of money.

No seniors menu, requested patio seating but told not available they got rid of their drive thru but service was fast and food was very good excellent atmosphere

We have been twice for dinner in the past year and both times were disappointing. The first time was not long after they opened and they were very busy so we chalked it up to that. The food was cold and took a long time. This last time was a Friday night around 7: 30. There was no crowd and the food came out in a timely manner but was cold again. The mac and cheese was luke warm as well as the burgers and the fries were COLD AND HARD. I did complain about the fries and got a fresh batch but this should not happen when a restaurant is not busy. The staff was friendly but they need to take a look in this kitchen as to why the food is always cold. I give stars, one for front staff and one for decor.

A great selection of food and everything was so tasty, and then when a server sang 'Happy Birthday' at the next table we were blown away by her voice.

Went to Happy Jack's today for lunch with my friends first time for all of us Really good service Ashley was our server great personality great job to all the staff And I personally appreciated the gluten free options A big big thank u? Another great visit to Happy Jack's. It was packed full. We only had to wait 5-10 mins for a table. Appy came out fast. Took a little longer for the mains, but like I said it was packed. If you are extremely hungry, try the Houston burger. A massive 2 patty burger. I included a picture.

We decided to try the new restaurant today. Burgers were excellent, so were the fries and poutine. Dry ribs to start were also excellent. Service was great and food came out in a timely manner. If you are in French Creek, check these guys out!

Went last night for my husbands staff dinner with his work. The service was excellent and the food was amazing! Even with having 30 people in our group we got one food surprisingly fast! I highly suggest the chicken cranberry Brie and the Long Island iced tea, so good!
Will definitely be back for a date night.

Came in for an early dinner, restaurant was may at half capacity took 20 minutes for drinks to show up and over an hour for food.

For the cost I expect the kitchen staff to know how to actually season the food and send it out hot.

The table that sat about 40 minutes after us received their food first; both tables ordered burgers.

Extremely disappointed. We will not be back.

Nice family resturant this place could capitalize on so much for the area. Great atmosphere service was awesome. My wife has many food restrictions and even though it as busy the server took the time to ensure all her restrictions were met. Food was great and some interesting new options. Hopefully they will advertise the happy hour more. One suggestion would be to play music in back ground maybe

We took a group of four adults and five kids here and it was PERFECT!
We drove from Ladysmith and will surely be back, this is our new favourite place!
I can't stress enough how every detail was perfect! I felt so happy and comfortable in there. The menu is wicked, they even have a kids' menu.
I cannot say enough good things about this place, please go discover it for yourself and thank me later. =)

Great food. Anyone who says 'their meat isnt cooked' outta ask for it well done. They cook it to good temp. I had the Maui burger, super good. Mashed potatoes were great, I was pleasantly surprised (never get mashed potatoes at Boston Pizza haha)

I'll give this a 4 star, as was our first time at this establishment. Was good for our first experience. You get bottomless fries, which is a deal. We had fish and chips, nice big pieces of fish and tonight was all you can eat fish and chips
Had a second piece of fish, but the second seemed to be more greasy than the first piece.
But we will definitely go back and try something else from the menu.

Great new eatery! Well over due in our community. Fantastic menu. Food is fast, fresh, and delicious. I highly recommend the clubhouse sandwich which is stacked high, and includes fresh roasted chicken. Also, the spinach salad. The staff are friendly, efficient, and attentive. This is my new go to place for “comfort food”.

I've now eaten at Happy Jack's a couple of times and both visits were excellent. The food is delicious with great options for children and a fun menu/colouring sheet and crayons for them too. Although there was a bit of a wait for food, our server Chelsea was wonderful and kept checking in with us and ensuring we had everything we needed. Thanks Chelsea and Happy Jack's, we'll definitely be back!

Awesome service and delicious food! I also loved that they had a mock-tail menu for those who don't drink alcohol, the mock-arita was very yummy! Definitely will be coming back

Tried this place twice and both times disappointed. The food had no love, very bland and small portions for the price.the service was great the first time, and awful the second time. The server didn’t come to check on the food at all, and when I waved her down she said she was busy setting up for a party of “55”. And was annoyed by it. As we were leaving and the group of hockey kids were arriving, she was BARKING at them rudely and acting like she was doing them a favour by letting them eat there.it was super cringe. Wanted to point out that we had the same experience with the side of poutine - it was just gravy soup on the plate.

I've been to Happy Jack's twice. I had the "Mother of All Poutine" both times and both times it was delicious. Kienna was our server both times and she's great: cheerful, attentive, lots of coffee refills. She goes the extra mile. They had good music, hockey on TV, good atmosphere. I'll be back.

Dined here with family recently and I had the thundering tenders, which came with four piping hot chicken tenders, a nice honey mustard dipping sauce, and a mountain of fries. Delicious!

Our server recommended the ice cream sandwich for dessert, and it was totally worth it. My husband got the peanut butter cup, which, in a nice surprise, was both vegan and gluten-free.

The portions are generous, the staff is very friendly, there's lots of parking out front, and it's an all around awesome location to unwind and have dinner with family and friends! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!

Checked them out recently. They satisfied my 3 basic requirements for a restaurant; good food, good service, and a clean place to eat. The waitress was friendly, and from the time the order was placed, the food arrived under a half hour. Awesome job! I will be back.

The place is nice! I ordered a orange cream mocktail that was delicious. My boyfriend ordered a club sandwich and said it was really good. I ordered the bacon mac and cheese and. It wasn't great. It tasted like it was made with Velveeta cheese or something, and wasn't really seasoned. All in all though, it was a positive experience and we are looking forward to trying more dishes.
