Harbour Air Seaplanes

Spectacular flight from Powell River to Vancouver Harbour. My first seaplane experience—definitely, 100% not my last. This was such an amazing experience I literally am researching how to get my pilot’s license now.

Harbour Air got us to the island quickly after a flight with another carrier was cancelled.

It was a short walk from YVR South, and their on-site bar is a great place to wait and watch the seaplanes take off.

All of the staff were friendly. The phone and desk staff found us three seats and had us booked and checked in with ease. The pilot and ground crew were funny and happy to be there. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Plus, the views!

I’ll skip the other airline that flies into Tofino next time and choose Harbour Air instead.

Amazing 20 minute flight! Our pilot was experienced and shared alot of great knowledge with us. My check-in experience was not fantastic! The gentleman who checked me in just walked away to chat with other colleagues without giving me further instruction. He was get my commentary piece ready, would have been nice if he told me before he walked away just letting me stand there.

Fabulous scenic flight. Check in staff were helpful and friendly and kindly stored our stroller for the duration of our flight. Our pilot was also very friendly and helpful and we knew we were in great hands. Highly recommend, great fun!

We had a wonderful time, the service was excellent and prices are fair. Our flight took us around downtown Vancouver and further in the direction of Whistler, passing several mountain tops. In total it was a about an hour, and it was certainly an unforgettable experience. The true beauty of some regions can only be appreciated from above. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who visits Vancouver in summer.

Went to Salt Spring Island for a day trip. Did the Mail Run option to experience a longer flight time— which was so worth it! Got to seat beside the pilot from Salt Spring Island to Maple Bay which I really enjoyed. We had no definite plan for the day but Lisa at the Harbour Air Salt Spring Island office helped us figure it out. She showed us a map of the town and recommended places to try. She even went above and beyond by offering to drop us off to a cider place nearby. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Will definitely fly with Harbour Air again and explore other destinations in BC.

It was absolutely wonderful! We did the flight Vancouver-Tofino! The view was amazing and has created wonderful memories for the whole family! The pilot was extremely nice! My father even asked to be next to him and he agreed! I would totally recommend it!

Took my mom as a birthday gift to her and we were blessed with gorgeous weather. Stunning aerial views!

I fly with Harbour Air frequently. The friendly staff and promptness keep me coming back. It is a great alternative to the ferry and makes travel to/from Vancouver much more convenient. Recommend exploring this as an option for local flights.

We saw the planes take off from the harbour and we wanted to try it. It was amazing! The views of the city, the sea and the mountains were worth every $. The ticket for a 20mins ride was 139$ per person.
Around 8 people were on our 4 pm flight and we saw all the landmarks from above, I totally recommend this activity if you’re close by!

I enjoyed a memorable business trip to see clients in a remote location that required a charter flight. Due to weather, we landed to wait for the weather to pass before continuing to the destination. Daniel, the pilot, is experienced and confident and ensured I arrived at the destination safely. For future business or pleasure travel, I will consider flying before taking the ferry. It was a pleasure from beginning to end to fly with Harbour Air and I look forward to the next flight.

Day flight (business) Vancouver-Victoria-Vancouver July 23: very pleasant flight, nice weather, great views, etc.but most important: extremely nice, cheerful, professional staff, not just at the counter (s) but all around, pilots, handlers, etc. One can guess this was not a coincidence but must have something to do with the company culture - well done Harbour Air!

Surprised my boyfriend on his 40th birthday with a Float Plane trip to Victoria for brunch! It was amazing. The staff at harbor air seaplanes were very professional and friendly. It was a lovely trip with many wonderful memories.

Amazing. I hate flying but I love taking trips with them. I'd do it just for fun - which I wouldn't even consider with most other airlines.

In addition to great cancelation policies, good locations, great staff, etc - their service is amazing. I just had to call to change a detail of my flight and from the moment I dialled the number I swear it was resolved within 60 seconds. Unheard-of for almost any other service I have ever called in my life.

Even though i came in at the last minute with a bicycle and 4 bags, these awesome people printed me a new boarding pass as i lost my first one within 5 min s of getting it but they also calmed me down as i was stressed to the max thinking i was going to miss my flight.thank you harbour air

We were so thrilled to see smiling faces on all the employees rather then masks. Very comfortable flight & as always on time. Thank you for respecting the B. C health minister + science & allowing individuals to determine their personal need or not of a mask. As a fully vaccinated person allergic to the masks it is wonderful to not be refused service or have to explain

It was fascinating to see the panoramic views from up! Ticket prices for 20mins were $278 for me and my partner but we think it was worth it!
Around 10 people can go at a time, you can see all the landmarks from above, I think it would be a great activity for your next adventure at Coal harbour.

I was the best man for an engagement proposal and, due to forest fires and weather, our original plans with another air-provider became more and more untenable. In a mad dash to reschedule and find an alternative, we decided on Harbour Air with a private panorama tour.

Carolee Henderson was the rep that we connected with over the phone. I explained the situation and Carolee went above and beyond! Not only did she help coordinate with flight dispatch on multiple flight paths and options for us to choose from, she ran through the entire logistics of the proposal with me. Weather logistics, flight times, and dock-landing locations for more privacy. Not only was Carolee completely clear on what our objectives were, she ensured everyone at HarbourAir would as well. Everyone from counter staff to pilot to dock crew would know about our proposal plans. This woman is the Paul Revere of wedding proposals! She got that message down the entire chain of command, because when we arrived everyone knew exactly how to be discreet around the fiance-to-be!

Captain Raymond even stopped by our table pre-flight to discuss flight routes, even letting us offer suggestions. The flight path was beautiful. The crew were more than patient and gave us the space we needed when the time came.

My hats off to Carolee and Captain Raymond and all the staff and crew at Harbour Air! You not only saved the day, you made us realize this should've been the only option to begin with! Will be reccomending you all to all our friends and family. Thanks!

Highly recommend you try this out, seeing Vancouver and the surrounding mountains and shores of BC from the air is very breathtaking. The price is worth it considering the length and quality of the entire experience. If I ever come back and need to travel around BC (for example Vancouver to Whistler) I'm going to try my best to fly with Harbour Air. Had so much fun!

We did the seaplane flight to Victoria, with whale watching tour.
5 stars. Cannot find anything about it that was not perfect. Well organized, on time, exactly as described, great friendly and efficient staff. When a teenager calls it the best day ever, that says it all.

Had an amazing time on the "Mail Run" tour from Downtown, Vancouver to Salt Spring and Maple Bay! An extended thank you to our awesome pilots Sean and Eric, and Lisa in Salt Spring who made us feel so welcome upon our arrival. Thank you so much, Harbour Air! Really hoping I get another chance to take more friends on more tours!:)

A fantastic way to get between Vancouver and Victoria. A bit pricey (to be expected with air travel, of course) but the views were worth it and it was so much faster and less hassle than the ferry. Being dropped of downtown a few blocks from the hotel was a plus, too.
