Harbour Centre Dental

Today was my first time in Harbour Centre Dental and I am really greatfull for all the professional I met there! They are very attentious and amazing. An humanized care!

The staff here is so great. I was really nervous about coming to the dentist but everyone was so nice and made me feel very comfortable.:)

As always, it was nice to be greeted by Sofia. Love her energy and welcoming nature.
Amir always makes you feel good about your smile. He is super patient and his level of attention to details is so adorable. He is super caring and checking with you several times during the session to make sure you are feeling good. I already booked my next session in 6 months as his schedule is super tight. Had nice overall checked up with Dr Shirzad as well.

Dr. Singh has become my dentist from now on. That's what a great clinic does. Information and recommendations that are not intended to sell their dental product but to find the best option for the patient. Fast and professional. Very comfortable, clean and warm space.

I really enjoy going to harbour centre dental. They always greet me by name and make sure I’m comfortable, they let me know before proceeding with things and then they send me off with a dental upkeep kit. Timing is always nice, too.

It took me a long time to find a dental clinic that I was comfortable with due to my phobia of any dental work. And I am so glad I found this one! I have now been a regular patient of Dr Shirzad for the past 5ish years. She always makes sure I am comfortable and not scared. The staff at the clinic are similarly attentive and gentle. I absolutely recommend this clinic to everyone!

The staff and dentists at Harbour Centre Dental are kind, professional and knowledgeable. They have state of the art tools and imaging equipment (getting a mouthguard was so easy!) and they do not push you to receive services or products. They text you to remind you of scheduled appointments, and are always on time.

From the reception to the dentist, the entire staff is making the experience less painful then it used to be for me. I am a VERY difficult patient and they know it. But they always go above and beyond to deliver the best treatment while accommodating to my comfort level.

From the warm efficient receptionist to the caring, professional expertise of the dentist I had, Dr. Shrizad, this is the best dentist office I have been to. Dr. Shrizad takes the time to explain the issues with one’s teeth and her expertise is offered in a caring way. Moreover, I have been very happy with all the dental work I have done (crowns, extraction etc). I recommend this dental office and feel pleased that I will be so well taken care off.

Dr. Hariri was very good. Really made sure I was comfortable at all times and understood everything clearly.

I saw Dr. Hariri during my recent dental exam. From the moment I walked through the door to the moment I left, I experienced the best possible care and professionalism from the entire team. Dr. Hariri was kind, skilled and compassionate. He was detailed and informative and at the same time put me at ease and instilled confidence in me about my future dental health. Sophia is super nice at the front reception and Amie is very sweet and caring. My dental exam experience was overall fantastic.

Everyone was extremely friendly. They explained everything they were doing, and gave me a clear idea of what was more urgent, what was mostly aesthetic, and what was important for long-term dental care. I will definitely recommend this dental office to others.

I’ve been a patient at Harbour Dental for over a decade. Dr Hariri and Dr Shirzad are excellent dentists. Amir is the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had. I’m a big wimp about going to the dentist but they all have such a warm upbeat attitude it eases my tension and I always feel better when I walk out the door. Top marks.

Hygienist was very accommodating, informative and gentle. Provided me with take home notes on acidity and advice on how to protect enamel. Front desk attendants were polite and attentive to my insurance policy.

I recently relocated to Vancouver and was looking for a new dentist. I walk by this office everyday and thought it would be a great fit as it’s close to home and work and I’m so happy I decided to reach out. They were amazing from responding to emails and working around my schedule to get in to use the last of my insurance before years end. They even went out of their way to contact my previous dentist office in Nova Scotia to get my prior records for me. The receptionist was LOVELY and helped me with everything from the moment I walked through the door. The dental hygienist I had was SO sweet and it was probably the most gentle and thorough cleaning I’ve had! He explained all of the areas I needed to address and how to do so. The dentist was also extremely kind and straight forward with a treatment plan to address my concerns. He was upfront and realistic which is exactly what I was looking for. Other than how amazing the staff all were, the office was very clean and bright and I love that they have TV’s in the ceiling to keep you occupied for those who don’t enjoy the dentist but from my experience that won’t be the case if you go here!

Staff is always professional! I have broken a tooth and they got me in the next day to assess and fix the situation. I can't recommend anyone else to care for my teeth.:)

The dentists, hygienists, and front desk staff are all great - always a warm reception! I've been coming here since 2014, and never had any issue.

I've also been twice since the new protocols have been introduced, and can say they're following them and making the experience as comfortable as can be.

Few love going to the Dentist. Especially, if one has experienced past trauma with dental freezing.

Dr. Hariri provides consistent and compassionate care. He has restored my trust in dentistry. He is a great Dentist.

The staff here were very professional and friendly. I felt very assured of my safety with their Covid -19 health and safety Measures.

This clinic is supposedly LGBT friendly but I strongly encourage any potential LGBT clients to be wary of this clinic. I contacted them over a week ago to inquire about their sedation dentistry options. They responded almost immediately (the next morning) with a long email asking for all sorts of personal information including full name, birth date, and details on my insurance plan (such as policy number), none of which I felt were necessary or even appropriate to ask over email, but provided no info on their sedation dentistry and instead asked me what I wanted to know about sedation dentistry. I responded by phone to let them know my questions such as what options they offered and how to request the services. I also asked which dentist (s) were best suited to provide services to queer and trans clients. Their response was to write out all my questions in an email, that they would respond to, which I did. That was over a week ago and despite multiple follow ups both by email and phone my questions have gone unanswered. Considering their initial response time (almost immediate) it's hard not to conclude that they are ignoring my questions, and the only reason I can think of is homophobia/transphobia, as all communications stopped after the topic came up. Major warning signs.

All staff members here are so friendly and welcoming, Dr Mohammad Hariri is my dentist he is so friendly and professional. I always enjoying visiting this dentist.:)

Dr. Shirzad and her staff were great! The dental assistant (Aime) was very patient, explained everything they were doing and both of them took their time explaining and making sure I understood. Often with other dentists I have felt rushed or pressured and only really received 5 minutes of the dentist's time. With Dr. Shirzad and Aime I felt like they took their time to make sure I understood everything and was comfortable and valued as a patient. They made it a very pleasant experience.

Staff are all very friendly and make you feel comfortable. Great place for anyone who has any anxiety about the dentist

Always great and reliable service, but also felt very safe and reassured during COVID-19 with their new safety measures in place.

I'm basing this review based on the receptionists. They seem very unprofessional. They keep chatting in Spanish, regardless of patients or doctors approaching the desk. I was waiting to pay what I owed but they wouldn't attend to me until they were done with their conversation. And because I don't speak the language, I don't know what they are talking about or if they are making fun of patients. It looked like the Dr that was there was very uncomfortable because of this.
But don't get me wrong, Dr Shirzad is amazing. Very caring and great at job.
If the front desk is a little bit more professional, I would give them a 5 star review.

Dr. Hariri is great! Very knowledgeably walked me thru my treatment. I didn’t get any up selling vibe from him. He said to me “ no cavities good for you, bad for us” very honest! Entire team seems friendly:)

Everybody is incredibly friendly and helpful. Mina did a great job of photographing my teeth, and doing a very thorough clean on them. The doctor was very informative and the reception staff were very helpful in talking me though everything.

I've been coming here for about 2 years or so now and every time I've come for a visit it has always been very positive. The dental staff has always been very warm, welcoming, passionate and always provided me with valuable tips to keep my smile in optimal condition. After my first visit they highlighted some concerns that were previously unbeknownst to me and gave me a lot of information and provided guidance to prevent any further damage. Dr Shirzad and Dr Izadnegahdar are also both very kind and professional. I feel very well taken care of by all members of staff at this dental practice!

It might sound surprising, but I love going in for my dental appointment at Harbour Centre Dental. Dr. Izadnegahdar and Adela always make me feel so good, and we often have a good laugh too. I leave with a clean mouth feeling so fresh. Thanks ladies!

My girlfriend and I were walking by early morning noticed the place looked decent so she went in asked if they accept paitents covered by social/income assistance and they said yes and then proceeded to fill out intake forms to have a initial checkup to see what would need to be done in the future. After not even being in the back for more then 5mins she comes out very upset and frustrated as they then inform her that checkup will cost $20 after the fact that they informed her they accept social/income assistance coverage. So she had to pay with her last remaining $20 which was never discussed or mentioned prior to the very brief exam and making her feel very judged and out of place. Worst experience ever with any dental or medical office in my 32 years of living on this planet. Much prefer the professionalism of aarm dental staff. Happy Victoria day everyone.
