Hastings Community Centre

This was my childhood playground. Inside and out. Lots of activities and programs. There is also a beautiful garden.

I really like this one and the staff are really nice and accommodating:) the zumba classes are fun! Bussing from there past 6: 30-7pm kinda sucks cause you've gotta walk up to renfrew but earlier in the day the bus stop runs right outside of the centre pretty frequently

Great community space & fitness Center. Gym can get busy during peak hours, but you can always find something to use while you’re waiting for specific equipment/machine. Great value for students and youth

Facilities are great. For a community centre their fitness centre sure has a lot of equipment! Lots of great programs here! Staff are friendly and helpful.

Older facility in the basement of the Hastings comm center, a bit “gritty” although better selection of free weights and machines than Trout Lake, much less busy than TL or Hillcrest. Staff is great, always happy help if needed.

Amazing community resource and affordable enough that I can now have a gym membership. Great for my health! High quality gym equipment and spaces.

I’ve only used the gym here but the facilities are great. All the other programs through the centre look fantastic, lots for families, with lessons, safe spaces and a good network

A happy little place with a simple but well run community centre and preschool. Great community garden space with nice open green space and tennis courts.

I use the gym there and I find the equipment adequate. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful.

Rude and unhelpful Caucasian lady staff in reception.and not trying to help me because of “not understand my Englis” ，even not read my document that show what and why I need the onecard for my son. The other gentleman came and help, he just used 2 mins to understand me and gave me the card in 5 mins. At same time, when I compaimed that lady, she tried to ask me go out and prevented other give me the card. The gentleman help me explain why I could have.

A great community centre with lots of programmes to suit all ages. There is also a gardening program.

An extremely special place. I’ve visited it since my children were toddlers. I now volunteer here to give back to what the centre has given to our neighbourhood.

Fantastic, full-featured, community centre. Gym, computers, family events, racquetball, just to name a few.

Unlike other comm ctr that hosts birthday parties - the sitting/eating area and the bouncy castle was in one multipurpose room. The friend hired a balloon artist as part as her package - kids loved the novelty creations. Was a bit tight considering the number if attendees for other activities (toys with wheels). All in all still a nice place to host a child's first birthday party! Parking is tight but next to Hastings so was as to get parking and moved car into lot afterwards.

This is a really special place. Everyone knows my daughter's name at the Family Drop-in and play gym. There are so many different types of programs. And they do childminding so you can work out while your kid plays.

I've played squash a bunch of times in the racquetball court. I'd recommend finding a proper squash court: P

I been taking my nephew here for kids play time. It lets him mingle with all the other kids and make new friends before going to preschool. They have a great gym and the staff is wonderful.
