Hatsuki Sushi

The food is always, ALWAYS good they are so consistent. The service is phenomenal. I came in for pickup and was waiting for a friend who was meeting me and I asked after my food was handed to me if I could wait and they offered me a seat at a table and brought me tea for free while I waited. Lovely staff and service.

Service was amazing! They are very kind, personable and really take a few to chat and see how your expierence was. Food was fantastic and fresh! 10 / 10 for NOT ignoring services when we did all you can eat! Every place in town that does all you can eat, take their time to service you but Hatsuki was on it and attentive! Plus $4 drinks when you do all you can eat! Woohoo cant wait to go again

We have tried all of the Japanese restaurants and sushi places in Kamloops. Hatsuki sushi is great. We ordered a lot of sushi a couple of days ago and it was delicious, very fresh, and presentation was beautiful!

Agedashi tofu—best Ive ever had…so crispy, light and wonderful sauce and garnishes

—Popcorn roll—delicious, only a couple little scallops though so I thought this roll was very overpriced.
—Dynamite roll—excellent
—Tropical roll—excellent
—Avocado roll—excellent
—Rainbow roll—excellent
—Tuna maki—excellent
—Ebi Maki—good
—Hurricane roll—very excellent!

—Large Miso—hubby and I shared this—best we’ve ever had— Will definitely be stopping in many times this winter for it again. Craving it right now!
—Shrimp sunomono—delicious dressing however only two little shrimp, one thin slice cucumber and one thin slice carrot and noodles were under cooked…so wasnt the best.

All of this was takeout. Food that was meant to be hot was absolutely steaming hot which was great and everything else that was supposed to be cold was very cold—perfect!

Sadly no wasabi or pickled ginger…. Perhaps we needed to ask for it.

Customer service was so friendly and warm and welcoming. Really looking forward to coming back here again and dining in. We have heard dozens of exceptional reviews and are so glad we have found Hatsuki. And how wonderful that it’s only a few blocks from our home!

Great little gem of a sushi restaurant. Best place in town, will be the new “regular” for our sushi cravings. Food was absolutely delicious, fresh, good prices and large portions. Service was excellent and friendly. Quiet with not many diners, mostly take out, which was very busy with orders going out the door. Great place, will definitely be returning.

North kamloops now has another all you can eat place for sushis other than Nara. Its very good.

17 of us came to eat here and gave the restaurant 0 notice. The service was well organized, the restaurant was clean, the servers were impeccable and so nice. They were quick to have food ready.
The food itself was some of the best sushi I have ever had. It is freshly made and you can see the pride the chef takes in their product.

I would recommend this spot to anyone!

Shocked at how filthy the entrance and carpet inside was. Made me regret ordering food. Panko was stale.

I am thoroughly disappointed in the sloppy mess this “Restaurant” likes to call “sushi”. For starters, the Philadelphia role is absolutely packed with grease in any part of the role, and quite frankly anyone with a weak stomach is going to be spending some quality time with the toilet. This is sickening to the core, and I hope no one has to experience the absolute grease mongrel they like to call the Philadelphia role. Don’t get me started with the saucy mess I had to deal with.it has caused quite the commotion upon me and my family members, and now my mother doesn’t want to reside in this city any longer. I might leave for a while too and hopefully retain a bit of my peace of mind. I am livid.

Just ordered almost 60 bucks of sushi. The deep anything? Absolutely caked in batter. Had to peel off off that layer. My wife and friends had to do the same. Way to muck batter. The jalapeños had to be had by knife and fork soooo much batter

Went to pick up the food, the place is absolutely filthy as soon as you walk in the door. The food was awful. Done with ya…….

Always delicious, always on time, always follows instructions. They make my favorite sunomono salad in town!

Ordered teriyaki seafood dish. Was high quality and tasty. Service was fast for the amount of staff at the time. Wish there was more drink selection

The meat seemed low quality and the price a bit high. I would say this is a middle ground if your looking for sushi.

I ordered take out - spicy tuna roll and a couple of other items. The first bite I took of spicy tuna roll had a bone in it. And the fish in all the rolls tasted incredibly fishy. The rice had crunchy bits in it. I have been for all you can eat on another occasion, and it was passable. But I don't think I will ever go back now. Overall really, really bad. Waste of money.

Great food here. You know when your eating fresh, crisp vegetables and the right amount of spices.

Sushi was fresh and good, but all you can eat was a joke. Tables are small and cramped, they bring out one or two dishes at a time so if you're with a group you night have to wait awhile for your dish while others eat. They only allow 3 pieces per person of Sashimi then charge you $3 for every additional piece! Most places I've gone to with all you can eat allows 10-20 Sashimi pieces. I had some leftover rice on my plate and they told me they were going to charge me for it! Only reason it's getting 2* is because the sushi itself was good.

Quality food, excellent taste and good service! The price is reasonable. One of the only places in Kamloops that have aburi sushi! And they really listens to feedbacks.

Love the crazy boy roll! Every time I’m back in Kamloops I make sure to come back here just for that dish

Excellent food. We had the Bento A and B and the teriyaki chicken. All the dishes were so tasty and you get a lot for what you pay for.

Since they changed the menu they aren't the same as they used to be. A little pricey but alright overall

I called them to order and said that I will be there around 15 to 20mins. The food was ready when I got there.
I got 10% off for over $30 pickup I believed? Sashimi is very well prepared, the rice was very soft and delicious.

Food was alright but overpriced. The service was horrible. Not a friendly place. Would highly advise avoiding this place. There are much better sushi restaurants.

I don't recommend this place. The service is extremely slow, it took them 10 minutes to seat me down (one person) and 30 minutes for a bento box to come out. The sashimi had some fish scales still on the sashimi and the chicken teriyaki was burnt. Overall worse sushi experience I've had anywhere from service to food. Stay away

Food was really good. They have two options for all you can eat $14 as well as $27. If you can't complete your food they will charge you extra $5 depends on the quantity of food even though it's not sushi.

Took my 2 year old and 8 year old here. Service was great. The waitress brought ice cubes for the miso soup. Very thoughtful for the little ones. We had the tuna and salmon combo. The fish and sushi rice tasted FRESH. Which is rare in Kamloops. Will go here again.

My family and I have visited Hatsuki sushi for lunch, all you can eat, several times in the last few months. Each time we leave full and happy. Great quality, great prices. The server is lovely and super helpful and attentive. VERY happy and will continue to enjoy this restaurant when we visit Kamloops!

Quality is not bad, however they have the weirdest all you can eat I've seen, you will have to pay extra for tariyaki and some other stuff. Limits on lost of items from all you can eat
