Hawthorne Rotary Park

We had such a good time here. My kids love this park because have everything they like plus clean washroom that I like.hehehe

Great park. My only problem is that its so big and not enough tables for parents to stay closer to kids if we have an event. The larger tables are way too far and its hard to see where the kids are since they also added a tennis/basketball court right in the middle. It makes no sense to me. Over all its nice/ok

A fair bit of variety in this park. Away from the playgrounds the trail takes you to the south end of the park and you will find the remains of an old wooden dam that was used to water the steam engines at the nearby rail yards.

Great park, recently renovated. Got a nice hill and grass areas for sports or picnics. The water area is very popular with children during the summer. Also, relatively small but nice trails for walking and jogging.

Nice little place to take the dog for a walk (leash on) plenty of parking.

There is a 7-11 close buy to get a slushie and enjoy some time in the park.

The neighborhood appears to be okay.
No drug paraphernalia everywhere you step which is pretty good.

It also gets pretty dark there at night if yourre into looking at the stars. Lol

A newly renovated park with attractive flower beds around plus a spacious playground with equipment for kids to play with. Also there's water jets for playing around in summer. It's good to take a walk in the trail around. Parking & washroom is available for your convenience.

Nice park with larg playground and waterpark as well as a small pond with ducks, a nice spot for a picnic, jog, or to just relax

My 6 year old son enjoys the water park here. He is especially fond of the red beetle water fall. Excellent park. Thank you Surrey City

It is a nice park that the city has spent money on. But the ay structure for the little kids leave you kinda disappointed. The water park and older kids structure is really nice.

Wow we were super impressed by this park! It has a water spray park, jungle gym for older kids plus a playground set for the younger ones. There are also a couple of nice big trees to sit under for shade, and picnic tables. Also there are indoor washrooms which were quite clean AND a water fountain which you can drink from and fill your water bottles up with! 5 stars!

Great spot with playgrounds and water park. Parking is very limited in the lot unfortunately and street parking fills up fast

Very nice clean water park with ample parking and benches. Also has 2 playgrounds. Definitely worth going for a picnic with the family.

Such a cute park! Love the little ducks. Has a covered area with picnic tables, playground, waterpark, some ponds and walking trails. Tons of flowers around that smell so good!

Lots of open spaces for kids to run around in. Water park is popular and has a nice washroom nearby. Trails and ponds have nice wildlife to look at but needs someone to clean up the garbage left in the wetlands. Please put your garbage in the trash cans.

Cute park with a great playground for kids and pathways to walk your dog on leash. There is a small beautiful garden maze and a pand with ducks. There are pathways, the leaf to the other side of Hawthorne Park where it is quieter with less people.

Wonderful place for everyone to play or enjoy picnic. I recommend you have to carry a jacket or a blanket, because the place was windy everytime when I was visiting there.

Nice Park but lot's of trash everywhere and damaged property. Clearly the community doesn't have a lot of pride in caring for their parks and sidewalks. The park and surrounding areas are littered with trash. It's also on the smaller side so you can see most of it pretty quick. Nice amount of wildlife though.

Great renovated park, lots of nature with birdss and geese, but also man made pic nice areas and play ground. Not to busy for now, next to a couple of convenient retail areas to grab food for a picnic. And the tulips are beautiful

Well I would say surrey city has done good amount of time and money to improve this park. Kudos. Nice park to visit. Small family gathering for outdoors perfect spot

A very park to visit, and enjoy, but not when street residents come here to do thier drugs, and litter. This makes it look ugly, and makes it more difficult for city crews to keep it clean.

Nice park it'll be better once the washrooms are done and they complete the kids water park. The park is big and has lots of entrances and includes a dog park off of 142a st and 108 ave

There has been a lot of great work done in renovating this once boring park. Fantastic woods & garden paths, climbing stuff & water park.

Lots of dogwalkers.clean and lots of parking stalls. The park is fully equipped for sports lovers, children.

Beautiful little park, great kid's playground, recently cut in half by new road but still very nice place to hear a bird, see a coyote, lots of flowers and family picnic area.

Fun place to take the grand children to play and so beautifully landscaped and scenic. Great for families and relaxing picnics.

This park is beautiful. The new aspects make this a great park for families, children, and those just wanting a peaceful walk. This is a community gem.

Great place ample green perfect for lunch picnic with your kids on sunny day. It has water splash park as well to enjoy summer. Only thing is there is temporal fences along side of elementary school. Hope they get make it better soon.

Beautiful place to have picnics or bbq, it has bathrooms and a splash park during the summer. Nice place to walk or exercise. 100% recommended!

Was better before but still nice now:) two playground options, a splash pad and some benches and picnic tables. It's a reg place for our family to go. Even space to throw a Frisbee or kick a ball around.

Great local park for young children to play. Has a great log climbing areas for elementary school kids. Wish I had this when I was a kid. Nice areas in the back for photography.

Beautiful park except that it’s a bit busy when all you want is too get away from everyone and everything. But still a very nice place and tax dollars are always well spent on conservation and wildlife services.

One of the most beautiful places to spend time with your loved ones, if you are in the vicinity or visiting or if you just find it worthy enough to visit no matter how far you are from this lovely place. It was a rainy day when I was here and the atmosphere was quite wet and romantic so I will return in a different type of weather to feel the difference and share my second opinion.
