HD Nail Spa Vancouver

Did my nails yesterday and the tech cut the nails so sharp that it cut my skin. Went to the store today and no apologies whatsoever. Only explanation was that it is crystal and that’s how it is….: (

Victor absolutely killed this set. Although it’s simple, the shaping and attention to detail is immaculate. There are many other nail salons closer to me and no where comes close to this place. I’ve only been here a few times but every tech has been amazing (jay is also amazing).

Second time going and its been only great experiences. Employees are friendly and the acrylic gel sets last so long!

Very happy with my nails after my first time at HD Nail Spa! Victor was so precise and careful and did the design I asked for perfectly. My new go to nail salon!

I love this place! It’s my 1st time there and I went today to get a full set and pedicure for my wedding, and the girls were amazing!

Updated: initially didn’t get the manicure I wanted but the owner reached out within a few hours to see if I’d be open to getting it re-done. They were able to bring me in the next day. Jay made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. He did a fantastic job on my nails and was very careful throughout the process. I love the way they look! I appreciate the owner for bringing me in again and will definitely be back.

Great nail salon! Easy booking, fair prices, nice interior and lots of nail polish options. I go here for gel manicures and all the techs are great but I usually book with Cynthia who is professional, friendly and careful to make sure your nails are done how you like them. Definitely recommend!

I’m not sure why anyone would have a negative thing to say about this nail salon! I’ve been to most of the technicians here and have only had great experiences. It’s also clean and tidy. The do awesome pedicures and nail designs - they’ll do any crazy design I bring in, but now that they know my aesthetic, if I ask for a creation of their own I always get something beautiful. So glad I found this place!

Booking online was really convenient, salon is newer and clean but the location is a nightmare surrounded by construction. My tech had a very obvious cold/flu - first red flag. Seemed to be in a foul mood which made for a long, quiet and uncomfortable appointment. Attempted to do a chrome french manicure - she had no idea how, was talked through it by the rest of the staff. Complained loudly to the other staff about me, not realizing that I understood as I'm also Vietnamese. Before she could even finish painting 1 nail, I've already had it and told her that we could just do a solid color and cut our losses. She then has the audacity to tell me that she already painted 2 coats of a neutral base, so that's what I'll be getting. This was honestly by far the worst experience I have ever had. Save your time and money - avoid this place at all cost.

I’ve had an excellent experience every time I have gone there. Very accommodating and skilled in making nail art/designs that you request. Their gel nails also last a while without chipping. I had mine for about a month without any visible damage, apart from visible cuticles from growth. Overall a great experience with reasonable prices!

My go to nail spot in Vancouver! Super reasonable and my acrylics last over a month without chips or peeling. The nail art is also spectacular and is quite literally ART. They also have free parking in the back which is super convenient given the construction and lack of parking on the main road. Honestly the most reliable nail place and they really do try to make sure you love your nails! Also super clean inside and nicely decorated. Overall, I always look forward to my nail appointments and whatever special designs they surprise me with!

I almost want to gate keep my artist by Cynthia is absolutely amazing. I have gone to her for about a year now and she always "nails" it.

I’ve been going to HD Nails once every 3 weeks for about a year now. They do an amazing time every time! They are the only place where I have been able to get good nail art in Vancouver. 10/10 would recommend!

It's a great place to get your nails done. Jay always does my sets for me, always has a fun new idea. I've been coming here for about a year now and have no complaints. Wanted to support a business that was on the path of the new skytrain being built. Glad I found HD! Everyone is really welcoming.
