An amazing and deeply compassionate gem in Victoria. More communities deserve collectives like this. Christina holds a wealth of knowledge which she is eager to share with anyone on their own health journey. Sliding scale makes this accessible for people who might otherwise not be able to access the services due to affordability, which is not something that is easy to find most places. This place exists to change the world and it does with every visit.

I've been going to Heart and Hands for over 8 years, and I 100% recommend it. Christina is a wonderful acupuncturist - she's very knowledgeable, intuitive, and kind, and listens deeply. The space is cozy and the sliding scale makes acupuncture and the other service offered accessible. If you've never tried community acupuncture, definitely give it a go!

I wish I could give you folks all the stars in the sky. The humanizing, life-supporting, consensual, accessible, & compassionate care I have received (and continue to receive) has made an immeasurable difference in my life. Every week I look forward to the low lights, warm blankets, and gentle whispers. I love the signage and how clearly communicated your policies are. I love how you consistently show up for the community through mutual aid efforts. And lastly, I love that your offerings are on a sliding scale, without which I would not have been able to access the care I needed. How happy it makes me to pay the higher end when I can!

Heart and Hands is an oasis of community, kindness, and healing in a city of uncaring capitalism. Christina and the other healing professionals provide acupuncture and other services at a sliding scale so that they can be of service to people from all walks of life. They are sensible about COVID risks (and other respiratory illnesses). It’s a balm to have a place to go where everyone is masking. They provide a much needed service in a town where no one can afford to live and people are struggling on so many levels. I have been a regular client for years and have been going weekly since going through chemotherapy for the second time. Acupuncture has helped me immensely through this difficult time. I also appreciate that the organization stands for social justice in many ways both practical and generous (through various fundraisers) and through making stands on social media.
