I’ve always wanted to go Heartwood & Co, and I feel very lucky to have had Chloe as my stylist today! The cut looks amazing and my hair is honestly the softest it’s ever been. Thanks so much, Chloe!

Highly recommend Heartwood & Co! I was a first time customer and Irene was absolutely fabulous. They take the time to truly listen and make sure you feel comfortable throughout the entire process of your haircut. Irene is so personable, respectful and knowledgable. I felt 100% confident in their skills and am SO happy with my haircut! The salon is bright, trendy and welcoming. Will definitely be going back:)

I had the most wonderful experience with hairstylist Irene! Considerate, and extremely thorough in giving me what I wanted for my cut and colour. Blown away and so impressed with their wide knowledge and taking such great care of me, especially as someone with very thick hair. I've been getting my lashes done by Alyssa for several years and she is the absolute best! She does amazing work and she is also professional, efficient and lovely to chat with.

This was my first time at Heartwood & Co, Aila did my hair today with the help of Elise, and I’m loving it! They were both friendly, professional and made me feel super comfortable. Love this salon! I was aware of Heartwood for years but it wasn’t until I happened to meet a stylist, Lindsay, at an event who encouraged me to come in after I told her I always wanted to lighten my hair. She made me feel so comfortable and at ease, even though I was unsure what I even wanted as I had not been to a stylist very much before. She made some great suggestions based on my hair type. I came out with the best hair beyond what I could’ve imagined. She remains my go to stylist to this day. The atmosphere here is relaxing and beautiful. Highly recommend.

I got my makeup done by Jaylene for my University grad photos. This was my first time getting makeup done in Victoria and I decided to go here due to the number of good reviews. Jaylene and the rest of the staff were amazing! She was very personal and considered my sensitive and dry skin when doing my makeup. I was extremely happy with how my makeup and grad photos turned out! I will definitely be back:)

After your reply to my review it is clear that I was feeling right unfortunately as i have been blamed. As i mentioned on the phone i didn't request any complimentary service as it is shown on the photo my hair was pretty brassi and I have been offered for the service.
But i think it gives a good opportuniy to adress me as a problematic and demanding customer. I am surprised with your attitude to my review after we agreed about Lindsay's behaviour and communication was not nice and polite on the phone yesterday.
I thought that i have the right to share my experience and I used it.

It was a poor and terrible experience for me. I got brassy tones in my hair after a full balyage session and been offered a complimentry service to fix it but at the end of the complimentary service i have been refused for any further services
by the stylist Lindsay in front of few people while i was thanking. ‍️
As a customer i was respectful and patient to the stylist in my both sessions.
The only reason that i could learn after my complainment is, the stylist is not feeling comfortable to colour my hair.

I had no special request or anything else more than a standart customer. But i have been put in a situation of an extreme demanding person.
Even i would be like this, any customer shouldn't face these kind of rudeness in front of many people.

And Also unfortunately the manager couldn't come up with a solution for fixing this misserable experince as well.

Lindsay gave me the best hair cut I’ve ever had! The energy is so high in the salon, amazing stylists left and right, a very special team at Heartwood.

Irene was incredible! The studio is beautiful, bright and open. They were accommodating for my last minute bookings and were able to take my sister and I at the same time. Irene was my stylist and her open and welcoming personality made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She cut and colored my hair absolutely Perfectly. She is a great listener and her genuine care and attention to detail while cutting, coloring and styling my hair was amazing. Her infectious personality made the whole experience! I will be going back regularly and I highly recommend Irene and Heartwood & Co!

It’s been two years since anyone’s touched my hair and I was nervous about a little bit of change. Lindsay was an absolute treat to work with, I felt very comfortable in her seat and she gives off such wonderful chill vibes. She clearly wants you to look your best! She’s professional and yet so down to earth, I’ll definitely be going back to see her from now on. She obviously loves her job and literally creates art with hair, but leaves you with something you can manage and control when you’re out of the salon. Amazing woman!

I had a new hybrid set of lashes done by Kae on Tuesday morning. They are stunning! She had a really gentle demeanor that made me feel super cozy and relaxed. 10/10!

The aesthetic of the space is totally refreshing.booked a random haircut was paired with stylist Megan and it was an experience worth writing a review about. Relaxed and unpretentious service, i left with a perfect haircut and products which work.calm atmosphere.would certainly recommend.

Sami is so talented and a great conversationalist. I get so many compliments on my nails and have recommended a few people for other services and everyone is always so happy with whatever service they book. 10/10 would recommend over and over again.

Got my wedding hair and makeup done here. Amazing studio with gorgeous space. My photographer had a blast taking my getting ready photo. The lighting is amazing. I recommend to all future brides.

Today I had my hair done by Marlee (full transformation with colour and cut) and she exceeded my expectations! I left with exactly what I was looking for and I am so happy. Will definitely be back as a regular and spreading the word about this experience!

I got a haircut here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Nothing too complicated or crazy. Just a trim. I thought the hairstylist did a really good job. But I found the front desk to be very inattentive. I waited around for about 10 minutes for them to even acknowledge that I was standing there. Would recommend the hairdresser but don't expect the reception to be welcoming.

Update: I had a highlight which I was not happy about at all.

I appreciate Heartwood management (Jaden) for keeping in touch with me and arranging a fix with another hair stylist. They did it in a very good time and professionally.

We used Heartwood & Co.for our wedding which was supposed to be in June 2021 but then was postponed to September 2021 due to COVID. Their entire team was so supportive and understanding throughout the entire process and a pleasure to work with. We had over 11 people getting hair and make up on our wedding day, so it was a big job! The team was professional, on-time, and just a joy to be around. They are all super talented and I would recommend them to any wedding couple! ️ Special mentions to Melissa and Aislynn who worked with me to make last minute changes to my hair and make up on the morning of our wedding! You are both a dream! We were all so happy with the services - thank you!

Heartwood & co is the most beautiful artsy beauty/lash/hair tech building you will visit.whoever designed this place deserves to win an award.i have gotten both my hair and lashes done multiple times here, and am always happy with the results.the girls are so nice and always have amazing style! I like the location as well because it’s like a little hole in the wall and when you walk up for the first time you don’t expect it to look so pretty inside.

I recently had half a head of foils done with the lovely stylist Lindsey. She was amazing, very positive and fun through the whole appointment. I love the way my hair looks and I loved the service. The salon is super cute and I would definitely consider using it for an event in future.

I went and saw Rae and she's an amazing stylist! I came in with really grown out roots and she gave me exactly what I wanted! The price was great and the salon was clean and friendly I will definitely be returning.

I've been here twice and had such great experiences both times. The first was with Maggie who did a cut & color - exactly what I wanted and for a reasonable price! The second was with Sarah who also did exactly what I envisioned for a great price. Thank you both for the great service, I will be back:)

I got a medium/long length hair cut and Kevin Murphy strengthening treatment done by Megan S. I enjoyed my experience and was very happy with how my hair looked and felt afterwords, and enjoyed the products used. She asked me what my hair is usually like, which products I typically used, and recommended some products to me without being pushy about it, which I appreciate it. The space that they've got is beautifully decorated and well utilized. I thought that COVID precautions were well followed which is greatly appreciated since this was my first haircut at a salon in almost a year. Prices were alright considering how expensive salons can be in Victoria, they have a level system, and on Tuesdays students can receive a discount. According to their website, they are also Green Circle Certified which is fantastic and really important to me!

This was easily the best salon experience I have had. The salon is bright and clean, and very welcoming. I feel lucky that as a first-time guest, I was placed with Nina. She gave me a haircut I love and respected my need to keep my hair low-maintenance. I am truly happy with the service I received!

Sabrina is the best! Her knowledge, attention to detail, and creative flair really make for the most stellar haircut experience. Highly recommend her to anyone who asks.
