Helliwell Provincial Park

Loved it! The last time I walked it was over 20 years ago. Be prepared for a 5km walk. Bring plenty of water and snacks and stay on the marked path.

Fantastic walk with views of both Vancouver island mountains and the mainland and the waters between. Great little beaches for a rest or a picnic. 2 port-a-potties along the way.

Visited Hornby Island for a day trip, we stopped for the hike before lunch and it was beautiful. Took 1 hour 18 minutes hiking with dogs and small kids. Beautiful scenery, on a nice easy hike.

Beautiful walk, fairly flat, but watch for loose rocks on the slopes. The cliffs are spectacular, but no guard rails, so watch your step.

Beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding islands. Very easy walk for all ages! Trails are very clearly marked.

Great little hike with very picturesque views along the shoreline. Terrain is relatively flat and easy to walk.

Highlight of our trip to Hornby! This is a MUST SEE! Easy walk through the park but the views are breathtaking! It was a lot of reward for not a lot of work. We had adults, older kids (9-11) and younger ones (5/6) and everyone loved it. Don't miss it!

One of the most beautiful places in British Columbia. Very well maintained walking trail around the park. It takes a little over an hour to do the full loop. Dogs are welcome but it’s best to keep them on leash because of the cliffs. Multiple outhouses in case you need to go.
