During this hard time of loosing my father, I felt like I was truly heard from all the staff. The compassion felt real and not just a job for them. Everyone took their time with me and never pushed or rushed me in anyway. In the times to come when I may need this service again, I would not hesitate to call on them again. The feeling of being welcomed and part of a family was what I needed.

My husband passed away suddenly at a relatively young age while out of the country. I needed help bringing him back to Canada, and then planning a memorial that would honour his memory in a way that was lively and upbeat, where laughter was encouraged. Jaclynn was exceptional, both in helping work through the official processes required, and also supporting me in planning a special memorial reception. She was the perfect balance of knowledge, empathy, encouragement, and ideas to set the tone I was after. Many guests commented to the family that this truly was a celebration of his life. I'm very grateful that Hendersons was the first call I made, and that Jaclynn answered the call.

Melodie at Henderson's was amazing. She walked our family through costs, had great empathy, listened and responded kindly to our questions and wonders. I've never dealt with a funeral home before and she surpassed anything I would even expect.

They were great throuout the process three years ago BUT, called and called and called again to set up your own funeral stirig up painful memories. Asking to stop calling wasn't working so after three years of getting calls we had to block them.
Also, a plain cremation costs $1000 at "Just cremation" can't belive we paid $2300 three years ago.

Henderson's was very helpful and accommodating, even when we changed plans last minute. Gwen helped us all the way through and answered all my emails very quickly. They made the whole experience very stress free.

Melodie Richards at Henderson’s is one of the kindest and most compassionate people I have ever met.
She just put herself out their for us and made the time we spent at Henderson’s something I will never forget.

Having dealt with both Randy and Gwen at Hendersons now, I would very highly recommend them and would never go to anybody else in the future. The utmost professionalism and sincere care is shown, and they treat and make you feel like family.

All the dealings I had with the funeral home were handled in a professional way without any undue pressure. Melodie was very helpful, explaining all the procedures and concerns that I was experiencing. She wanted to make sure that help was available should it ever be required.
