Heywood Park is a great spot for families and kids. It offers a nice playground, shaded areas with trees, and a charming creek for those sunny days. A perfect destination to enjoy quality time outdoors.

Only just another beautiful park in North Van. There’s a great trail to hike for an easy yet stunningly natural trail with natures smell and sounds. Plus a tributary of capilano I believe but I could be wrong. Good for taking the kids and getting them excited to not be on their phones or gaming.

A must come see park! It really feels like your in the jungle. The trails and tracks give that authentic feel. If you are in Vancouver travel to north Vancouver you must come here.

One of our favourite parks in North Vancouver. This place has everything from a children’s playground, picnic areas, a beautiful river, and a winding trail of roughly 15 minutes each way. Make sure you say Hi if we pass you on the trail!

I am amazed to find such a beautiful trail along the creek just two bus stops (on R2) from Lonsdale Quay. The trail is easy, though not entirely flat. It has a couple of narrow points, but nothing dangerous.
