Hi Five Chicken

Terrible. Chicken was so dried out it was brown and hard. I had asked for 3 thighs. The girl said they only had 2. I asked if they could make 1 more and she said they can’t? I though this was a fried chicken place, and you can’t make more chicken?

Terrible customer service, terrible food.

The whole point of having the online order option is so that you have the food ready when you arrive, not wait 15min after entering the store

Open 24 hours a day is what the sign says. However, I think it closes around 4 am.since I have been by in the morning and it has been closed.

It's better than Popeyes and KFC but not as good as Down Low. The price is about the same as KFC.

Tasteless and low quality. We ordered a chicken burger, tenders and chicken pops. Everything lacked flavour and the burger was not edible at all sadly. Based on the reviews we were expecting something decent. But sadly not.

Amazing chicken. My favourite is the spicy roasted chicken. They have coated fries just like Costco and pretty good deep fried pickles.

Today, however, I ordered Skip the Dishes and they forgot to pack my fries. I called the store and the employee said he forgot to pack it and it was sitting on the counter. Both Skip the Dishes and Hi5 refused to deliver my fries that were sitting on the counter.despite the fact that I paid a "Service fee", "Delivery fee" and a 20% tip to Skip the Dishes.

The Hi5 employee was quite apologetic but he didn't offer me fries in-lieu, which is what I was actually interested in.

Staff was super friendly and the service was fast! Great chicken & great experience. Thanks for all that you do guys:)

Do you want to eat somewhere, that your dietary restrictions are entirely ignored? How about a place that serves chicken so old, that your stomach will churn and you will nearly faint from the exertion required to expel this waste.

Well look no further, not only will this place serve you the very items that you tell them you're allergic to, they will serve you food that hasnt been properly kept warm, and has sat for hours. I hope you enjoy sitting on the toilet!

Fries are similar to Costco fries. They taste really great and they give you a LARGE portion. These prices are more expensive than KFC, but it was still a very tasty experience. Quick and fresh as well.

Great store but they don’t provide their traditional sauce with chicken.

Good food, but the pick option is often frustrating. The app doesn't update it's timer when the place is busy, the text message with how long your food will be is usually accurate, but sometimes isn't. The staff don't package up your food when it's supposed to be ready, they wait til you get there, and sometimes they'll be busy doing other things and delay that. Or decide that a delivery order whose driver came in after you gets their food packed up first.
Also, the app lacks the ability to let the staff know if you want to make changes to your sandwich, like hold the mayo.

Also, they are using the Fraser Health Authority guidelines to say no free refills. Kinda tacky.

Local go-to for fried chicken. Try their Mac ‘N Cheese bites too!

Its been a while since i came here and its as good as churchs and open till late but not 24 hours but it is still great. Burger and chicken as good as churchs but the fries is better than churchs. Cheers! Recommended for late night fried chicken run if you are around!

I've ordered from here twice now. The chicken is delicious! Super moist and you can order all drums. The chicken was very well seasoned and was not greasy at all. The skin was nice and crispy. The entire family loved it. We got both the spicy and the regular and they both were good. The spicy had a nice kick and was not achieved by some thick hot sauce. It was in the breading. The chicken was cooked fresh and took no time to come out. The guy working was so nice. Thanked everyone for their business and even gave everyone free chicken fingers. Not sure if he was the owner but he was very nice and friendly. I would definitely come back again for the chicken and great customer service.

I had the chicken meal and it was utterly disappointing. Everything was properly cooked, so there's that. The fries were soggy and greasy and the chicken was utterly flavourless. There's really nothing more to say.

Would not recommend this place if you have eaten good fried chicken before, no flavour at all LOL, kfc has bigger burgers

No-fuss fried chicken that's not oily & quite tasty.
My current favourite place to get fried chicken is Metro Vancouver.
Note to managers: please offer the roasted chicken 24/7, especially after midnight it's a much healthier option.

Consistent quality and decent value. Very quick preparation and good fried chicken. The standard sides offered are as expected. Value meals are competitively priced. I'd recommend trying this place out.

I want to give Hi-Five the benefit of the doubt, because I have eaten at the other Burnaby location with much admiration. The chicken is juicy, and meaty. Absolutely in a higher category than.so many of the other "traditional" fried chicken places. This is Southern fried chicken with biscuits and gravy like it should be.
However that said, I was disappointed with the surplus of grease and oil on my recent 20 piece mix deal. The crust was crunchy as "spicy" as ordered, (although if I could have it spicier I would).
I hope this batch of oily chicken was due to a factor within their ability to control and/or change, because it wasn't expected, but it could be a deal breaker for me to move on and search again. My other "go to" for fried chicken still stands, (see my other reviews) but it isn't Ina location we can get to easily during covid

We love the roasted chicken (both spicy and regular), but the service here has been inconsistent. We use their app to order and it's either not ready for the time they tell us or they are not organized enough to see the order in their queue (ie.they forgot the order entirely). Mistakes are fine, but a proper apology and a better offer than free coleslaw (which we didn't want) should be offered. The chicken is good, but management needs to train their staff better and be more organized.

The food was good but the service was a big impress. Noween was so efficient and he knew exactly what his customers need! Will visit this location again- 5933 Hastings Burnaby

Love their roasted chicken. The spicy version is especially good (if you've got left over rice this makes for the perfect side dish)! I also prefer their fried chicken over Church's. Customer service is excellent.

I came here couple of times in morning. I really love your chicken but the supervisor in morning Gagan, her customer service is really amazing. She always welcome everyone and provide sampling if food take time. Keep it up Gagan. Thanks for being kind and polite always.

Great location, staff are awesome. They always take care of you even though it's really busy with impatient customers. The team of Naveen and Osseen are a great tandem. Thank you for a good experience

Me and my friend visited restaurant last night and it was kind off busy and Naveen served us nicely with great smile he even offer us some food as sampling and i loved that poppers i loved the service and food! Thank you Hi-five and Naveen for great experience!
