Worst quality of Food, it was Soggy and cold, seems like it was out there for a very long time. We got sick a few hours and won’t ho back ever and will not recommend it.

Decided to try this chain (vs Popeye's) for a change. Had the grilled chicken sandwich meal. I liked the spiciness and the size of the meat in the burger. But the presentation was sad - soggy and flattened. Almost like someone pressed on the sandwich too hard when wrapping it.
My friend had the fried chicken sandwich and it looked way better. Next time should just order the fried food instead of the grilled. The food overall was good and the staff was friendly. This review is biased towards the poor presentation of my sandwich.

Good food and great service. Might just be me but I've had better. My onion rings were burnt and sandwich had much to be desired. Still good just. Not for me.

We live close by and saw all the wonderful reviews, so we decided to check them out. I downloaded the app since they had a promotion for two free pieces of chicken if we ordered through the app so why not right. I'll say the app needs work: the two free pieces of chicken didn't populate when ordering. The app automatically applies a 15% tip, which is not a good thing if you rush through the ordering process without paying attention.
Now to the food: I ordered the special offer of 12 pieces for $29.99 which you can only get if you order through the app, 6 special sauces, one classic chicken sandwich, family size fries and gravy. The chicken is deliciously seasoned and cooked wonderfully. I also got two free pieces of rotisserie style chicken. They were tender and beautifully seasoned. The fried chicken was crunchy and nice and hot. The fries are tasty and crunchy reminiscent of Costco fries which is a good thing. The special sauce reminds me of Chic Fil-A sauce and its slightly sweet. The staff are so friendly and attentive. I didn't wait long for my food since the app tells you when the food will be ready for pickup. There are only three tables there to dine in. I only have one negative to mention and that's the "family size" fries as compared to the "family size" gravy. The pouch was too small to be called family size and the huge container of gravy was massive in comparison. Given the price of the family size fries I was very disappointed. Otherwise, I'd like to go back and try the spicy style chicken and the other menu items. Thank you for the excellent service. Please give thought and consideration to the size of your fries.

Quick preparation, good size for the spicy home style chicken sandwich/burger. Their buttery corn is yummy! Price is fair for the flavour, freshness, juiciness and customer service. The fries portion is so BIG and they’re delicious and crispy. Will come again.

Excellent restaurant. Everything we tried was awesome - fried chicken, roast chicken, biscuit, gravy - their family size gravy is truly family size - chicken tenders, fries, onion rings - I don't as a rule like the cornmeal style batter on onion rings, but these were great. Their spicy is nice and spicy, their mild has zero "hot" to it, even my wife could eat it. We'll be back for sure!

Completing our cornucopia of hot brown was the deep fried pickles and mac&cheese. The pickle core had some flavour but it was enveloped in a cocoon of deep, completely tasteless deep fried crust.

With just a hint of fryer oil.

The Mac&Cheese was very much factory made, lovingly excreted by an industrial press somewhere.

This place represents poor value for the dollar. It’s only slightly more for money for a genuinely decent chicken breast burger on actual real bread at your local favourite simian themed pub.

Really delicious Poutine, didn't need to add salt and pepper, truly a first for my taste buds. Moist and flavorful roasted and fried chicken. Loved the tangy BBQ sauce. Very friendly and accommodating staff. It's a must try. Love that I can choose roasted dark meat.

Expensive, but I guess that applies to every food place now with inflation. The food was actually really good and those jalapeno poppers are next level. Chicken was more flavourful than those other popular fried chicken restaurant chains. Would come back again

Please get rid of your old fried chicken, that has been sitting under the warmer for more than half the day. It doesn’t represent a fried chicken establishment well.
Usually, I will buy a piece to try out before committing to a whole box, but it was late, and I was hungry. I read the reviews prior - and they were mostly good- but forgot to factor in the fact that it was off peak hours, so things may not be as fresh, so I went in.
Long story short, chicken meat was dark and yellowing in some spots from the soaked in oil and sitting around, which dried it out as well, and the batter was more than crispy… it cut up the roof of my mouth. Didn’t taste any herbs and spices either, just saltiness.
I’m sure it would have been a better experience if things were fresher, BUT REGARDLESS, PLEASE DONT SELL OLD FRIED CHICKEN, IT WILL RUIN YOUR BUSINESS.

Loved the flavor, and the chicken is very succulent and crispy. Service was excellent! Staff offered to make a fresh batch for my order. Hope they keep up with this level of service quality.

First time trying HiFive Chicken. Exceeded my expectations! With so many fried chicken joints in the Lower Mainland, it's important to differentiate from the crowd so atmosphere and service matters. Now, the food was very good and the flavors are very acceptable and their special sauce is good. I ordered the 10 pieces family meal and the manager was willing to arrange a "tasting menu" within this order. Quality food and good price! I was encouraged to download the app because I was told of the various incentives and rewards. Right now I'm more encouraged to come here for my fried chicken fix than to Popeyes which is just across the street! Keep up with the good food and good service! I'm sure this neighborhood and the drive by traffic in this Ironwood area will appreciate it.

Good service! Chicken is really juicy! Even I brought home and eat it almost an hour later, still crunch and juicy!
