High Hopes Bed & Breakfast

My wife and I stayed here over the weekend to get away following our wedding. Not a Honeymoon, just a little time to relax.

There is nothing bad to say about this place! The room was lovely, the scenery was excellent, and the hostess was terrific.

It has been stated that the train can be an issue, but the rooms have windows that are made for minimal sound transfer, and the hostess provides earplugs if needed. On top of that, the in-room air conditioner can be used as white noise. Honestly, my wife and I got used to it the first night.

If there could be anything I could nitpick if I wanted, the French press in our room was a little dirty, but that is minor compared to the value you get with this BnB! Plus, we never mentioned it, and if we had, I am sure it would have been cleaned.

The three-head shower and massive tub made up for that! The breakfast was also excellent! We will be back. We were planning to make it a yearly thing.

The best place to stay in Hope, with a stunning balcony view overlooking the entire town of Hope, also has the most delicious breakfast. Whistler's room has elegant interior design, complete facilities, house with ample parking space and ultra-high cost performance.

The views breathtaking. The breakfast bountiful. Pauline is a wonderful host. If you’re looking for a stay that provides serenity, a spotless environment, safety, and comfort, this is the place.

We stayed for two nights and wished it could have been longer! My partner said as we left, “there’s not a single thing I can say about the place that’s bad! ” It was a perfect get away!

We had an outstanding experience. My wife and I stayed there for two nights during a mid-week wedding in Hope and we were simply delighted to have had the experience we did. The owner is such a lovely person and made our stay simply delightful. We left feeling like old friends and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this BnB to anyone!

We had a beautiful stay, Pauline keeps a beautiful B&B and she is very accommodating. For our first B&B stay it sold us and when we are back out this way we hope she has a room available. Deb and John

Truly a hidden gem. My partner and I had the most relaxing experience here away from the city. Beautiful views, exceptionally clean house and room. Every little detail went a long way. I think the floors were even heated? ! Breakfast was great and always wonderful to chat with Pauline. We felt very comfortable & so cozy. We’d love to book again in the future! Absolutely a wonderful place to stay. Extremely clean, beautiful home with all the amenities you would need. Our room overlooked the Coquihalla river and golf course with mountains all around - gorgeous! The location was perfect. Pauline is a lovely person who took great care of us. I look forward to staying at High Hopes again!

Beautiful place! Stayed there just for one night. Pauline cooks you a nice breakfast, while you can talk just about what's going on. And the birds wait for theier meal too.

The location was excellent and perfect for our stay along our route to the interior of BC. Pauline was easy to deal with and friendly. House was beautiful and the Eagle room was comfortable. Breakfast was good and we got on our way efficiently. Thank you!

High Hopes is very beautiful with a very welcoming host. A very incredible view and nice suites. I would recommend to those who enjoy the bed & breakfast experience.

This B and B is one of the best places we have ever stayed high in the mountains for breathtaking views clean and inviting and the best is the owner Pauline she is a truly wonderful individual who honestly takes care of her guests and goes above and beyond

Everything was absolutely incredible! The room, the view, and the breakfast in the morning. Pauline is an absolute delight and if you are in the area this is the place to stay!

Wonderful BnB, Pauline was a fantastic host very friendly with no pressure approach. Room was imaculate obviously very well maintained.

Air conditioning worked well dispute other reviews, kept us very comfortable thought out the night.

My partner and I sleepy soundly we didn't hear the trains at all which was mentioned in other reviews.

Pauline cooked a delicious breakfast which was wonderful with the vista.

Overall great value with phenomenal views would visit again if given another chance.

Stunningly beautiful home built on the mountains overlooking Hope golf course.
We stayed in the Eagle room, which was a perfect size with a lovely private balcony to overlook the view. Private bathroom. Complimentary tea and coffee.
Pauline made a wonderful breakfast tailored to my gluten free requirements.
We will definitely find a reason to come back and stay for longer. We are eager to stay in the Whistler suite next time! Wow!

An impeccably maintained, well-designed facility with large self-contained suites for guests. All the amenities of a first-rate hotel room provided. Pauline was a perfect host, ensuring our needs were met. Outside our room was a large deck with comfortable seating. In addition to mountain views, we could look down to the Coquihalla River as it passes the Hope Golf club and meets the Fraser River. Occasional trains roll past on tracks below the B&B but we didn't find the sound disruptive. If you're thinking of spending time near Hope, this is fine place to lay your head.

The best B&B in Hope by far! Clean and very accommodating. Breakfast is the best. Wouldn't even think about going anywhere else!

Our rooms were awesome and the host was amazing.loved the view and the breakfast was great. Would go back in heartbeat. The price was perfect and so close to our daughters place. Deb and Steve Williams. Kitimat BC. So happy to have found this gem. Can’t wait for our next visit.

First time we stayed att a bed n breakfast it was excellent.the viev was awsome breakfast excellent.and most of all Pauline was the greatest.

Had a wonderful stay in the spacious Whister Suite. The owner is warm and friendly serving a tasty breakfast. The view is spectacular and we enjoyed relaxing on the patio overlooking the valley. I highly recommend it! (Just make sure you find the ear plugs in the nightstand for the train going by.)

Pauline made a wonderful breakfast and has a very beautiful home. She was really kind and hospitable! I would definitely return for another visit.

We sure had high hopes:) I will try to be very fair on this review. The owner is wonderful and I do not want to cause any issues, however: We had a fairly poor experience for the money.

Couple of things: The AC did not work at all. The room was very warm. We chose high hopes because they advertised AC in the room that we stayed in for the night. Zero air was coming from any vents in the room. I feel that the owner should be honest about this. Especially for $170.00 a night.

Since the AC did not work we had to open the windows. Big mistake. TRAINS all night long. Every hour or more. Super loud horns, grinding tracks. Wow. Worst night sleep I have had in a very long time.

The Breakfast was good. The owner was sweet. Honesty was needed however and we felt taken advantage of.

Hope this helps future guests make a good choice on spending their hard earned cash on a night away.

I felt very lucky to have found this gorgeous place when looking for accommodation in Hope. Pauline is a wonderful hostess; very pleasant, kind and accommodating. The rooms (we had two), were very clean and breakfast was great. We definitely would stay here again.
