Hilltop Medical Walk-in Clinic

This is NOT a walk in clinic. You have to line up at 8: 00 am to get an appointment. By 9: 00 am the entire day is already booked. Plan on an entire day dedicated to seeing a physician if you choose to go here. Plan on 2-3 week wait to see a physician if you book an appointment with a family doctor.

Need to arrive early by 8 then get the appointment for 3 hour late then ur sitting in the room for 1 hour without a doctor need 5 hours Atleast to just see a doctor

Absolutely ignorance

Dr Isaac Amankwe is incredibly ignorant!
Wouldn't listen to anything that was hurting me, read from a file, continuously asked me if I'm understanding which was all simple things he was saying!
Treated me with utter disrespect!
Doors don't open or close properly and slam into walls and apparently that's my fault!
Talked to the manager and she gave the same ignorance!
The only decent person I talked to there was the receptionist! She's an absolute delight, caring and respectful

Since getting new doctor at Hilltop Medical Clinic, I have been happy and impressed by the wonderful service.
This is a shout-out for the receptionists/MOAs of POD 1.
I received a confirmation text to remind me of my next day in-person appointment, but it was with a different doctor’s name, not my doctor. I called to inquire about this. The receptionist at first couldn’t figure out the problem, so asked me if she could look into it and call me back. She called me back, explained that I was mistakenly booked with the wrong doctor. And that my doctor was fully booked for that next day. She contacted my doctor (who was not in office that day) to see if she could make room for me on that next day.
She called me back a second time with the outcome - they fit me in on my original appointment day. They took responsibility for their mistake and fixed it. I am so grateful for such caring service being shown to me.

The doctor is great, 5 stars for him BUT the staff are so RUDE! I've mentioned it to my doctor before and he's said he heard the same issue. When I call in, they sounds like I'm such a burden on them. They have me jump through hoops and give me the run around, and when my doctor finally hears what happened, he's like that shouldn't have happened. I can provide an exact example if the staff reaches out about this review, I actually had to take time off work to deal with it. The staff huff and puff on the phone and are very unorganized. One staff member will tell you one thing and the next staff will say another. The whole crew need to be put through some form of mindfulness training.

Best walk-in clinic I have ever attended. Parking is decent and a very nice building. My experience from the receptionist to a nurse to a doctor have all been exceptional. Well organized, polite, friendly and really cared. Words cannot express how helpful they have been to me!

The reception staff are soooooo unprofessional and rude at times, they seem to have a chip on there shoulder.

They always seem to mess things/appointments up then blame the patient and have the nerve to back charge. They are very unreasonable and very unempathetic.

This place was empty, and they said it was at full capacity. What is the point of a drop in the clinic with no doctors. The medical system is broken in this country. It is so horrible. Can not even walk in.

The management and environment everything is good. Doctor is rude, not even trying to help. Really disappointed.

Very bad customer service, specially Pod#4. They make wrong appointments and blame it on the patient. If you try to argue with them the pod princesses will make sure that you are delayed as much as you can. Trying to get their name but they are too shy about giving it. They can raise their voice but wont give their names. Way to go princesses!
Update: Dr. Riarh came and explained that even though her staff made the wrong appointment and the staff was very rude and unprofessional, me being the one who need her service and since there is already a shortage of doctors, the blame automatically comes on me. So in the end it was all my fault that the Pod4 staff made a wrong appointment, was very unprofessional and rude.
For patients of Dr. Riarh and Pod4, please keep in mind that if you want their services, they are doing a huge favour for you and most importantly you and your time dont matter!

I had the pure pleasure of being in the care of Dr. Arjun Odedra today at the Hilltop Medical Clinic.
He was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything to me in clear, concise and thorough ways.
He spent just the right amount of time with me and really listened when I asked questions - he was very present and sincere.

Dr. Odedra offered up specific details of where I am at, did a thorough, thoughtful exam and a broad picture of where I should be at in about 6 weeks, if all goes according to plan and is in sync with the xray results.

The bottom line is that I trusted and respected this Doctor very much! Not only is he competent but very kind and truly cares!

P. S. A shout out to Stacy - a clinic employee (role?) who was equally pleasant and very sweet!

This clinic took a rapid decline years ago when it moved to its new location under new management. There are a few decent doctors, most are rude, incompetent and don’t bother booking a phone appointment, they consistently fake the callback.

The idea that one must begin lining up at 8am at the walk-in (they open at 9am) in order to see a doctor, and to be told at 9: 06 that they are already booked up for 2 days is ludicrous. Phone lines didn't turn on until then either. It is frustrating at the best of times, but far beyond that when you are sick.

Says it opens at 9 am on Saturday I showed up at 9: 01 and they said they were already at full capacity. There was only others there before me

Saturday 9: 15 am I was helped at the check in desk and was very impressed by the friendly service to my request for medical records to be sent to another doctors office.

Admin staff are absolutely terrible to deal with and extremely rude. Ladies maybe its time to find another line of work

The reception lady is very nice and patient to explain things for new walk in patients. The doctor is great! I have been suffering with a cough for two weeks and my pg is on vacation. The doctor from this clinic took my case seriously and gave me prescriptions that I needed. Thank you!

Very very very positive experience from the receptionist to the attending dr. Dr. Brockton to Mellisa the nurse. All staff were extremely kind and caring. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I have had the absolute misfortune of having to deal with an Incredibly incompetent, rude and downright unprofessional worker: one in particular; Victoria who works for Dr. Bari (who takes wonderful care of my grandparents zero complaints) me and my son who is barely 2 months have been since he was born sending paper work to become patients of Dr Bari. The very first 2x they "lost" my paper work and my sons, which I redid and sent again fast forward to now I follow up and ask them yet again if they have received as I was told to bring those papers into office per dr's order and book an appointment. When I phoned in to follow up with this I was met with attitude and threats. Victoria, I do truly hope you manage to reflect on yourself because the first thing you are taught is kindness and to provide care to patients but because of your lies and incompetency you only deprive a baby who needs to be followed by a family physician which as we all know is scarce and hard to come by. I sincerely thank you and I do hope your manager addresses this.

The Hilltop Medical Walk-in Clinic was a great option in these days of limited accessible health care.
The Receptionist was lovely and kind, the Doctor was welcoming and reassuring, the Nurse was up beat and full of information. A follow up appointment was immediate and timely. Thanks to all at Hilltop Medical Walk-in Clinic. Nice one!
