Hilltop Plumbing & Heating Ltd.

They provide a very well coordinated and professional service. But the pricing rate card is way too high. They bill $190 for the first 30 minutes of a site visit! I was not told of this on the phone when I was booking a service, and was surprised at the bill at the end of the 15 minute service call.

We call Hilltop for all our plumbing and gas-related issues and requests. They are always timely in responding and their service is excellent. We had to call them back in once to fix an issue that wasn’t resolved after the first visit, and they worked quickly and effectively to ensure the issue was ultimately addressed. Highly recommend for their quality and strong work ethic

Horrible plumbing company. Steve Duddy was the guy in charge of our project last year and did work that would was not according to building codes and work that had other plumbers just spinning their heads. Wouldn’t even take responsibility for their errors afterwards. 100% not recommended if you want to save yourself the time and money.

Within 2 minutes, without even grabbing a tool from his truck, Randy was able to put our minds at rest about our hose bib concern. Thanks Randy and thanks to Hilltop for making our day!

Jordan was fantastic. He took time to understand the problem and provided great service. Our HVAC is weird and I’m glad we got experts out to check it out. When the machine broke after the first service, they made every effort to get someone out here ASAP. I’m never going to anyone else I’ve found our plumbers for life!

We received very prompt and considerate service when our on demand Navien hot water heater failed. A new PCB board was brought in over night, and they had us up and running the day it arrived. Thank you Jordan and Llindsey.

I just had a furnace and heat pump installed by Hilltop Plumbing & Heating. It was a two day install and it looks amazing! I was SO impressed with the professionalism and competence of the crew. Jeff, Dylon, Billy, Ryan and Nick were outstanding! This is a ten out of ten installation. Highly recommended.

Sept/23 - Hilltop completed our annual fireplace service today. Evan arrived within the 8-10 am window as promised, professional, courteous, a non-smoker (the Hilltop owner/manager once recently informed me all Hilltop staff are non-smokers which is VERY important to us], responded to our questions and helped us understand two areas in question for us. Highly recommend!

Dec 22/22 - Hilltop called to repair living room FP displaying flames off and on intermittently. Replaced wall switch which was now 12 years old. Apparently planned obsolesce of five-years, so at least we had our money's worth. Importantly, nothing wrong with the gas connection. Wayne arrived promptly at the end of the two-hour window. May 2021 - Hilltop performed requested annual service for 2 gas FP today. Jordan arrived within time window promised; as always professional, courteous, personable, knowledgeable and masked. Five-stars!

2020: Hilltop performed my requested annual service for our two gas fireplaces today. The technician arrived within the two-hour time window as promised, was professional, knowledgeable, and personable - and, in compliance with COVID-19 public health requirements, masked.

2019: Jordan arrived to service our two gas fireplaces which we had not had serviced in a very long time. He arrived within the two-hour time window promised, was professional, knowledgeable, and affable. One of the fireplaces required a Honeywell switch. Jordan made the call to the supplier, stepped out to pick it up, back in 20 minutes as promised, and completed the work. Jordan provided an orientation to the new Honeywell switch and also helped us understand some aspects gas fireplace operation. During the service call I also enquired about potential service for my Dacor gas stove and was pleased to learn if and when it needs service Hilltop can also do this week. When Jordan left, our home was as clean as it was before he arrived, with no outward evidence of repair. This was my first call to Hilltop Plumbing & Heating. I'll now add fireplace maintenance to our preventative maintenance schedule.

Just had a wonderful experience having my furnace repaired and serviced by Jordan this afternoon. I was concerned when my furnace made gurgling noises upon starting it up again a couple of days ago. Jordan explained it wasn't unusual hearing those sounds from the condensor upon startup after having the furnace off all summer. He fully explained the diagnostics to check for issues, and even caught one that could have potentially flooded my crawl space in the near future. I'm a very grateful homeowner, who will only use Hilltop Plumbing & Heating for all of my repair needs, and will specifically be asking for Jordan from now on. I'd give Hilltop more than 5 stars if I could!

Brent was fantastic giving a timely accurate and fair quote. The entire crew has been fantastic installing new furnace and Heat pump. Friendly, tidy and profession. An extremely honest company that serves the South Surrey area and beyond extremely well. Don't hesitate to give them a call.
