The Hilton Whistler is our go to hotel in Whistler. As Diamond members we stay at a number of Hilton properties and the Hilton Whistler is among the best. Great hotel with a great location in the heart of Whistler village, just steps to skiing and everything else you need. The staff is friendly and always helpful.

Tom made our experience stellar. From our initial greeting and checkin to bringing our bags to our room, he went above and beyond to deliver VIP service to us! Thank you Tom for making our stay so pleasurable. We truly appreciate it! You are great at customer service and making your guests feel special.

We stayed here for a day. Had a very ordinary experience for the price + resort fees. I decided to book here because of my Hilton Gold status and the credit card points I had to use. However, I was taken aback to learn that they wouldn't provide any gold status benefits since I booked through a "third party, " and I wasn't willing to pay a significant premium for the "Hilton Booking" option. Plus I received a very cold and rude responses when I asked for this. Very unprofessional for Hilton brand.

Sure, the location was good, and I lucked out with a room boasting a jacuzzi which was good. Paid parking access was easy and plenty space. View from my room was not great at all! Free guest WiFi was SUPER slow, and I couldn't connect to HH members wifi as they refused to link my account to my room.

Overall a major let down. Never coming back to this property! I checked out and booked Four Seasons for rest of my vacation days which was amazing! If you're looking for recommendations, do yourself a favor and explore other fabulous options in Whistler Village. There are plenty of decent properties in the same fantastic location and save your money and enjoy a much more satisfying stay.

My family and I recently stayed at the Hilton in Whistler during a hockey tournament. Hotel was great, staff was very friendly and the customer service was great! The house keeping service was exceptional! Room cleanliness is the top on our list while booking! I would like to say a special thank you to Pam Bhangoo who took care of all of our needs while we were staying at the hotel. Pam made sure our stay at the hotel was perfect! Myself and the rest of the parents were quite pleased with how clean the rooms were when we first arrived and also throughout the remainder of our stay. I would highly recommend staying at the Hilton when visiting Whistler!
15 January 2022 19:23
Highly recommend the mountain room when travelling with family and/or friends. Spacious rooms, fireplace in master, impressive ensuite and soaker tub. Spacious kitchen to work in with others.
04 January 2022 10:31
Kitchen suits could use updating - (ie.we were given 10 spoons and 2 forks, there's no oven, utensils are outdated). Seemed overpriced compared to other kitchenette units in Whistler.
04 January 2022 6:46
I had the best stay here, the staff from the front desk, to the pub downstairs, the servers were all amazing. It was for me also the little things how they would go about and beyond. I will def be coming back. Blessings

I absolutely adored this hotel and all the lovely people that work there! I loved that I got an email to sign up for Hilton Honors, I loved that I could download the app and got a notification when the room was ready, brilliant! I also loved that the room key was actually integrated into the app (!) it was amazing. I sailed from the parking garage directly to the room, easy peasy lemon squeezy. The room was gorgeous, I loved that there was a little balcony to take in that fresh mountain air. The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was a dream! I loved the pool, the sauna (*sigh*) and hot tub, the fireplace in the room to fall asleep in front of at night and the food! Yummy smoked salmon bennies and coffee in bed in the morning and a swanky, bacon-wrapped frankie at CBB in the evening. Thank you so much for the beautiful service, we felt super spoiled and can't wait to come back!

Good service, pet friendly, and they've done all they can to maximize services through the pandemic. Great location and fair value for what you get, especially considering location. Have stayed multiple times, and look forward to returning!
15 December 2021 23:18
Was left standing and waiting for service while 3 members helped 1 guest. Burnt out lights, werent informed to where dishes and cutlery were nor why they were not put away. Dirty walls, bed frame, headboard. Pubic hair stuck to ceiling above bathtub. Damage to closet door and coffee table. Much lower than expected of "Hilton" brand. Would not return, especially after experiencing a stay at Westin hotel next door.

Reception was always simply fantastic in helping us out. A colleague missed his flight and he arrived late at night into YVR. We were a party of six, less the late arrival, but reception was exceptional in checking us all in smoothly. They also helped me organize a limo to pick up the colleague from YVR and bring him to Whistler. He was exhausted after a full day's wait at SFO so I was concerned, but with reception's help, everything was organized smoothly!

We needed a conference room at very short notice and it was organized by Annie in the sales department very efficiently. We also had some wifi issues but Annie smoothed that out too. All in all, a fabulous stay, the hotel is very closed to MANY food options and the team (6 in total) loved the accommodations. Parking was easy too, though a bit pricey at $41 for valet. But, hey, this is Whistler!

Hilton Popped up today as a memory - and what an extraordinary beautiful place to be visiting. We went to Whistler (my dream) for our 25th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately during our stay, my brother who was looking after my dog, ran over her accidentally and we had to put her down. I will never forget how very wonderful the concierge @ Hilton Whistler was to us on hearing about the loss of our dog. People will forget what you said, People will forget what you did.but they will never forget how you made them feel.

All in all its a good resort with all amenities. Just be warned to check the AC and thermostat before you go to bed. Our AC started up in the middle of the night and scared us. The AC did not need to come on as it was cool enough. Location is perfect as it is right in the village.
25 November 2021 19:32
We had a great stay. Room is very spacious with kitchenette, very clean room. They follow the safety standards to keep all guests safe, they checked for vaccinations card when you go in restaurant. Food is delicious and all staff are friendly.
15 November 2021 1:34
We had a wonderful stay. HISANO at front desk was super kind and helpful to us. 5 stars for excellent hospitality and staff!
16 October 2021 15:21
On July 31, my husband and I checked into the Hilton Whistler for two nights. The room had been booked through Expedia. Upon settling into the room, and turning the AC unit on (which was filthy and covered in dust—photos attached), I had a severe allergic reaction, and we had to leave the property and head back home immediately. At the time, the front desk staff were polite and concerned and assured us we would get a full refund. Six weeks later, I have been chasing both Expedia and Hilton Whistler to get my money back. I am astonished at the lack of accountability and professionalism from both companies. It is boggling to me that Hilton Whistler, with their lack of cleanliness, is the reason a guest had a medical emergency, yet they are holding onto the money. Very disappointed with this experience.
08 October 2021 7:29
Rooms are a good size. When we checked in the room temperature was 20 degrees and it took awhile to warm up.
The pool and spa are unsupervised and you don’t reserve a spot… so really just a free for all. Some people respect your space and time, but others take everything they can get.
06 October 2021 11:18
While it was not entirely the hotel's fault, I can give our stay no more than 3 stars. My wife and I are both diamond members of Hilton Honors and had several free night certificates that we tried to use before they expired, however, Hilton instead used points (which don't expire) from our account instead of the free night certificates. I tried to get this fixed, however, they wouldn't/couldn't fix it for me. Then, upon arrival, I asked to have one room changed from two double beds to a king bed room and, despite showing multiple king bed rooms available on their website, they told me I could not have it switched because there were none available. After a long travel day, we also found that the onsite restaurant was closed without explanation or warning. The website says that it is open and it was open for breakfast the next morning, so I have no idea why it was closed. Also, be warned, there is not nearly enough self parking for the number of people who want to use it and the parking facility has dead ends that you will need to back out of. The front desk also did not properly record our complimentary breakfasts and the restaurant staff told us to go fix it at the desk ourselves the next morning rather than offering to fix it for us.
Outside of these service issues, this is a beautiful hotel, all three of our rooms were very clean as are public spaces, and all staff observe proper covid protocols. The wifi was very good and all of the facilities seem to be well maintained.

Definitely recommend. Staff was awesome/ friendly great parking but does fill up quickly for underground. Hotel / room was amazing Definitely recommend.
29 September 2021 0:52
Everything was good until 2nd to last day of our stay. After a long & fun day trail riding wanting to swim & relax before going out for dinner but could not get a lounge chair at the pool. Yet no fault of the hotel. When I did get a lounger in the morning (not busy) 75% of them are broken.
The parkade is an absolute joke. Left parkade to go out for dinner that needed a car & upon returning there were no spaces available!
Searching for a spot is dangerous as there is no driving around but need to back up & hit cement barrier denting the side wheel panel. Finally someone left & i parked. I would like to suggest that guest with parking be given a #spot for the duration of their stay.
Check out was terrible & the front staff girl was rude. When she accused me of having 2 cars! Charging me for an additional car to park. Did not believe me when I was adamant that I only have 1 car! She spent quite some time counting her "parking vouchers". Then offering she "made a mistake". Meanwhile not listening to my query about the parkade & thus just gave up. She obviously was NOT listening to guest (my) experience. Not sure I would recommend as there are plenty of other choices in Whistler.
26 September 2021 3:13
Wow! Definitely 5 star here. The service was amazing, I went with 4 of my girlfriends for a girls trip. The pool Was open the whole time, the staff were good, the place was clean. I Definitely will be coming back
20 September 2021 22:07
It was very lower than what a star hotel must be!
Bad restaurant service.
Some bad receptionist people
No service
No fair charging and payment
16 September 2021 15:31
They charged us $200+ for 3 days parking and maintenance fee, even though they didn't do any housekeeping/cleaning. Wifi connection is slow and unstable. False fire alarm at late night. Body lotion is half used.
Pros: The room is big. Dog friendly. Close to town center.
12 September 2021 12:27
We had a pleasant stay at the Hilton! We were there for some of the hottest days of the year and we were so thankful to have a great and functioning AC unit to keep us cool in our rooms!
Easy access to the village, gym/spa amenities, and free 1 hour bike rentals are some of the prime perks of this resort. Like many places in Whistler, the housekeeping unit is currently understaffed and we unfortunately did not get our rooms cleaned daily, however the front desk was kind enough to arrange our rooms on one out of our three days to be cleaned (which we very much appreciated)!
We booked on Expedia and were not aware of the $25/day resort fees and at check out we were quite surprised with this charge per day. WATCH OUT FOR THIS fee which is slyly tucked into booking sites.
Other than that, this was a pleasant experience and do recommend this hotel to any tourists exploring Whistler in the summer.
11 September 2021 14:42
Check in was great, I know we are dealing with covid but no room cleaning or clean towels after paying $1000 for a weekend doesn’t seem right, and walks very thin… children crying next door sound like they are in our room
09 September 2021 17:55
I usually go to the Fairmont but my wife made the mistake of booking here for the first time,
the day we where leaving we had a rain storm I live 3 hours away, road conditions where so bad we called the hotel (took more than 30 minutes to get someone to pickup) when someone finally did they said sure we can change your booking to another date.fast forward 3 days, just got told today bad weather conditions don't qualify you to cancel.
Also I was told I had to cancel before 12, Unfortunately I wasn't able to reach them till 12: 37: - (
I wish i was told this Saturday when I first called instead I was given the run around for a few days, this was a terrible experience I highly do not recommend
06 September 2021 14:03
Excellent location if you want to be close to amenities in the main Whistler village. Also an easy stroll to the Upper Village and North Village businesses. Our room was clean and nicely appointed. The front desk staff was excellent and check-in/check-out was easy. Overall, a great stay and would definitely stay again.
31 August 2021 4:12
Excellent location, clean and tidy but way overpriced for what it is. It’s like a hotel that hasn’t been updated since the 90’s. You are paying a premium for the name.
31 August 2021 2:34
Staying at Hilton Whistler Resort, great location, cleaned room, comfy bed, and nice front desk staff made us have a good experience.
22 August 2021 7:04
Called and confirmed our booking 3 days prior to arrival, arrived at the hotel to check in and was told our booking had been canceled that morning by the third party. Neither the third party nor Hilton bothered to inform me about the cancellation.

I Was unable to get in contact with the third party and no help from the hotel.

They did however offer us a 15% Discount on the rooms available which was $700 a night, which is way more then what we paid for the 3 nights.

Lesson learned, definetly no more hilton hotel stays for us.
17 August 2021 17:32
FRINT DESK HELD OUR CAR KEYS AND WOULD NOT RETURN THEM. We paid our stay but a card declined for a 100$ deposit apparently. It happens. We'd used the card all night and day bjt understand there are other issues sometimes (machines ect). I went down in the morning to get coffee for my husband and I. The front desk let me know card declined and we owed approx $100. I told them I would sort it out with him once he was awake. This was all at 630AM. The woman at the front desk then said she was holding our Range Rover sport supercharged blk edition (a car worth over 100k) keys until the 100$ was paid in case I tried to leave. To assume this was so rude. My husband was happy to deal with it asap but only after we were embarrassed and made assumptions about. Not sure if this is the regular policy but seems extremely unfair to hold car keys for 100$ after we've paid our room, it's early in the morning and my husband was still in the hotel. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Employs taking INSANE amounts of initiative. We could have paid cash, a different card, anything. So many solutions before telling someone they are believed to leave without paying. Don't trust these people to handle any discrepancy appropriately.
17 August 2021 5:05
We had a most wonderful stay at the Hilton Whìstler. Withoùt exception the staff were amazing, helpful, cheerful and service oriented. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of hot and cold dishes served by very efficient and friendly servers. Highly recommend the Cinnamon Bear cafe. Great food selection and terrific staff. Pool was under Covid restrictions which required prebooking. This could be done by text and was effortless, with hotel staff very responsive. Hotel is pet friendly. We are worldwide travellers, well pre-Covid anyway, and our Hilton Whistler stay will be one we'll repeat. Ian & Radana
22 July 2021 6:44
Great hot tub, gym, and spa. Super friendly front desk staff. Comfy beds and pillows for relaxed sleep. Close to all local amenities and mountains. Great for families and couples! Tasty breakfasts and good food at Cinnamon Bear Bar & Grill
17 July 2021 17:18
Facilities not well maintained. The lift was in desparate need of repair and it smelled. The staff did not allow to warm food for our toddler. It was urgent and he had to stay hungry in the morning.never stylaying here again
18 June 2021 2:42
On the last day of our 3 night stay. The upgrade and recognition of Diamond status was appreciated! The room is an ample size evn though a bit dated. The TV allows for laptop hookup with an hdmi cable and the pots in the kitchen were well kept Cuisinart equipment.

I would stay again.
09 June 2021 18:34
I stayed at Hilton Whistler recently and it’s not a four star hotel. The room is tired, the facilities need work (both hot tubs’ jets had issues), and the front desk “service”. Meh: Didn’t ask whether I was a Hhonors member (I am) or whether I wanted to join, and when I checked out dude wouldn’t even offer me a receipt ‍️ Pictures speak for themselves. Stayed in South Tower - FTLOG if you’re already booked here, stay in the North. I understand it’s semi-decent. Bottom line, with so many choices in Whistler, why choose to stay here at all?
29 April 2021 11:55
Amazing resort, the staff are super accommodating and very friendly will go out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Rooms are very clean as well! 10/10 will stay every time we return. The restaurants are also delicious.
13 April 2021 6:01
I strongly recommend this resort! The staff here knowledgeable, professional and very accommodating. The rooms are clean and very well kept. It's really nice to be able to go for a swim in the heated outdoor pool or jump in the outdoor or indoor hot tub. Then go for a night cap or a bite at the cinnamon bar and grill in your resort robe. 10/10 for places to stay in whistler!
11 March 2021 19:11
Some of the rooms can feel relatively spacious by Whistler standards, including a helpful kitchenette and cute little balcony. The bathroom could use a fresh coat of paint and a new bathtub, which looks outdated and not very appealing. Don't plan on watching netflix or any of your own content on the television - the hotel has disabled HDMI access in order to force guests to pay $25 for on-demand movies. Front desk didn't seem to care about this concern and it reminds me very much of the nickle-and-diming for technology that was so common in hotels 15 years ago. Wouldn't recommend for business travelers or longer-term stays who might want to watch their own content at night.
02 March 2021 12:14
They have a bunch of hidden fees that come after your checking out. Also 35 per day for parking and outdated jet tub in the room where the jets stick out like knobs in the tub so they start to dig into your making for a rather discomforting experience. The rooms are rather small compared to other options. There also seems to be dust circulating around as the kitchen stove and counter area had a dust film buildup the doors can be heard opening and closing all night from other rooms and you can hear the people in the rooms around you. If I had a choice to repeat the experience I would shop around there are better properties to be had!
23 February 2021 13:07
Was deciding between staying at the HIlton or the Westin. Decided to try out the Hilton.
It was a good experience. I booked a room with a kitchenette and I had requested a fireplace but I needed to upgrade in order to get a room with one. The price to upgrade was $30 per night. The hotel wasn't fully booked and 4/8 upgraded rooms in my hallway were not occupied.
The room was spacious. Heat control was a little bit tricky - even when we increased the heat, the vent would still blow out cold air so the room was always chilly. And on top of that, the fireplace required logs vs an electric/gas fireplace. The hotel provided only 1 complimentary log and more was available for $5 each. Nice big kitchenette. We also got a good view of the mountain.

Overall, it was a good experience. However, I feel like I would've gotten more value for my money at the westin. When I stayed at the Westin over Thanksgiving weekend - they gave us a free upgrade to their nicest suite on the top floor with nice high ceilings (at no cost) since they were not fully booked. The rooms also had a smartTV so the movies didn't cost an arm and a leg to buy from the hotel.
20 February 2021 8:33
Very nice and very clean hotel. Room smelled like cleaner (which made me feel better) as well as the rooms is sealed with a sticker between the door and jam which was a nice touch. Service at the downstairs restaurant left much to be desired though. Otherwise this would have been a 4 1/2 or 5 star visit.
19 February 2021 0:02
Staff here is amazing and helpful. Clean rooms. Love the pool and hot tub. Great stay all around.
17 February 2021 22:46
Booked a studio premier suite with king sized bed, kitchenette, personal fireplace, and balcony. Great experience and would definitely come back next time.

Pros - cleanliness was good, gorgeous view of the mountains, great location - can walk right out to Whistler Village and chairlifts.

Cons - expensive parking ($34/day), no oven in the kitchen.
15 February 2021 17:03
I recommend reading the reviews about noise, clientele, amenities and cleanliness or lack thereof. There was way too much noise every night. There are kids in the hallway, teenagers smoking pot and loud music coming thru the walls. In just about any other $700/night hotel constructed with quality materials these noises would be filtered out. Not here.

I was absolutely stunned at the filth of our room. Someone else complained about stains; this is completely accurate. I believe someone used the towels before us to clean body parts and was missed by staff. Indeed, when we telephoned to complain to room service we were rudely blown off. In fact, I was pretty upset and went down to the front desk to speak to the manager, when I noticed one of the staff poking fun at my child who is special needs. I almost lost it. Instead a kept my cool and booked a last minute room in expedia.

This is the worst hotel in Whistler. The pool is not kept up to a warm temp in the winter, and only 30-40% of people are heeding COVID safety protocols.

Avoid this hotel for your own sanity.
08 February 2021 13:22
THIS ONE AND ONLY STAR FOR THE POOL

- We paid for 1 night $466 + $40 parking spot.

- Terrible customer service. (No respect at all) We called three times to the customer service to bring us 5 cups, but they didn't. We walk to the downstairs to ask in person AND THEN they send someone with cups 30 min later.

- THEY DON'T PROVIDE THE PARKING SPOTS for their guests.
- The parking guy is very rude, he didn't notify us about parking payments. He just told us to pay $40 when we checked out. HE CHARGED FOR 2 DAYS because we were late by 30 minutes before checkout.

- The pool was nice but a little bit dirty.

FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO SPEND YOUR WEEKEND!

I was gifted an overnight in Whistler at the Hilton and had to a certain day to book. I booked my trip but had to cancel due to the restrictions our government has made to not travel during the pandemic. I kindly asked Claire Choi (our designated contact at the Hilton) and asked for an extension to rebook when restrictions are lifted and was told no we have to book before December 18. I am extremely disappointed that the Hilton would not honor the rules the government put out for our safety and encourage us to come anyway or miss out on the experience. It saddens me that the Hilton operates this way especially when there is an outbreak up there right now.
12 January 2021 14:10
Stayed at the Hilton in Whistler over the Jan 2nd, 20201, weekend. Was a great experience. Concierge was very helpful with luggage. They allowed a later checkout and also I was able to park for the ski day after I had checked out, with no additional cost. Place was clean, and the kitchennette was perfect for my needs. Very comfy bed. Also had a great enclosed space outdoors to let me dog out, was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.
26 February 2019 16:23
Fastest checkin ever. I usually dread canadian hotels, never made it to a room in less than 2 hours before. Forgot my plug adaptors, who cares USB charging points next to my bed! Gonna be hard to get out of this comfy bed, fire, massive tv combo.
17 February 2019 21:29
Always a pleasure to stay here. Great service, nice rooms, special attention to hhonors and hgv members, and friendly staff
31 December 2018 12:28
One of Whistlers best locations, friendly staff + plus some of the rooms even have fireplaces! Fun apres ski in the Cinnamon Bear Bar too
24 October 2018 12:41
My wife & I stayed for 1 night for our anniversary and had a terrible stay, there was a dog barking next door from check in, until 11pm at night, and we could bairly stay in the room due to the noise, management would not move us or comp anything besides parking, (and had to complain to get that) they did not seem to care besides saying sorry for the noise, also, we had to call to go over the bill because they tried to charge us twice for one night stay. Not happy at all coming from a dog owner myself, how they treated us, and the barking dog. - note - if u have a yappy dog leave them at home and think of others at your hotel. I rate this stay & managment -1
17 October 2018 16:33
Great location and small but functional private parking lot (although EV charging may be an issue since Valet always parks regular vehicles in them so I had to contact the front desk often). Pool was small but nice, same goes for hot tub/whirlpool, gym was a decent size and bonus food/beverage service at the pool deck with happy hour menu! Rooms were modern and clean. Be aware during the hot summer months when the maid cleans your room they turn your air conditioning/thermostat off 'auto' 'cool' therefore upon your return the room never cools down enough to sleep comfortably. Spoke to maintenance, the maid and front desk.everyone seemed to think we were imagining things so why bother.
25 September 2018 15:44
Clean room, nice front line staff when I checked in. Great location and parking price was decent. Would stay here again if in Whistler.
