Nice park with great water features, but be warned, a year ago my 2 year old was by the pond, took 2 steps in and was completely under water over their head. Luckily I was right behind and was able to retrieve said child immediately, but had no idea that the pond was so deep near the edge. Definitely some signage would make sense here (or even a fence), I can't imagine this was the first child for this to happen to, as the pond is in the middle of the water chutes built for playing.

Nice off-leash dog park next to it but this specific park isn't actually dog friendly. Lots of people smoking weed all the time there but they mostly mind their own business.

Nice little park with the following features:

Swings - One accessible swing, several toddler bucket swings, 2 normal swings

Sandbox - Lots of community toys folks have left

Climbing structure - Mostly suited for 3+, but a tall/adventurous toddler could probably do some climbing

Hill/water feature - Water feature at the top of the hill with 2 ramps the water flows down. The stone steps up are quite tall and most young kids will need help going up/down; they should be able to go up/down the grassy slope on their own though.

Small grass field and some walking paths

No washrooms in the park, but JJ Bean is right at the corner.

What a great little park. Nothing fancy but nice place to relax and sit after a long walk and take in the greenery there.

Great play area and interactive water play. Also lots of greens, small wildlife, ponds, bridges and a nearby dog park. Perfect in the summer.

The main feature for this park I believe is the dog park, natural water features it has, habitat Island and water play area. I would say that this park is mostly geared towards adults but with very unique ideas to entertain kids.

The reason I say it's more geared towards adults is that it's got a large open field with lots of open space for sports (though maybe one game at a time), a flower field, a naturalized stream with picnic benches, very short paths for good photo opportunities and the lack luster playground. That's not to say your kids won't get something out of visiting.

For kids there is the rather tame rope playground with three regular seat swings, two infant swings and one handicap swing (6 total). In the summer though there's a very neat water feature where pushing a button that looks much like a crosswalk button will pour water into two metal runnels one leading into a sandpit the other leading into the naturalized stream. There's also a very neat tunnel bridge that is made out of a sewer pipe, but with the other adult features it is quite easily a learning opportunity for your kids. They can see tides rise and fall, the animals that live under those tides, birds nesting and even on the rare occasion medium sized mammals (beavers & otters) though with these features I recommend very close monitoring.

I'd say if they put a bit more effort into their playground this would be a top notch park all around but I feel like this park was built more towards the Olympians that were there when it was originally built thus a meh playground.

Great! Kids can play with water in a totally original way. (Don't forget to bring toys to catch water).
And other amenities the little ones will enjoy very much.

It has a lot going on, especially if you have kids. Duck pond, playground, water feature for playing in, dog park, there's a small island and beach; all steps from athlete's village Square.

Beautiful little corner of wildlife and nature situated at the heart of the city. Great place to walk, sit, hang out, look at nature.

What a little gem in the middle of the city. Very pretty. I visited the dog park. They have a section for Littles and Bigs. The only thing I didn't like was the ground was rocks.

Great little park, nice mix of nature and city. Look for the turtle in the pond, and enjoy the food trucks in the summer.

Lovely little park, close to Olympic village and the water. I love seeing people enjoying more time outdoors now and having picnics in the park. This park has a kids section (very popular) and leads to the off leash dog park.

Food trucks have been hanging out here lately making it a great evening hangout with easy picnic.

Large park. Interesting play area for children and dogs. Close to the water. Can be a bit damp and cool in the fall, dress appropriate.

Good little escape from a busy city traffic. Park is small however enough for a run and family outing.

Great park with lots of greenery, especially a large off-leash dog park to take your furry friends. The dog park includes a water pump to quench your dog’s thirst (although they do shut it off during the winter to prevent pipes freezing). Very popular and busy and you can spend an hour watching multiple dogs cavort with each other.

Beautiful views, but a pretty small park. Good for a rest point if you are walking along the waterfront.

Great little spot. Tucked away from too much traffic noise, and beautiful scenery along False Creek. Great climbing structure and a really fun water feature built in to the natural hillside. Bring spare clothes for the kiddos, they will get wet.

Another amazing park along False Creek in the middle of this beautiful city is so good for families and couples. There's a lot to discover and the child in anyone can appreciate the water feature and wildlife sanctuary (man-made) with an artsy cylinder tunnel with viewing ports. A great place to bring your little one to play on the swings, sandbox or jungle gym or have a picnic with a date or friends on the "Island" peninsula.

Reclaimed railroad spur, now park with dog run.

Dog run is smallish and often crowded, but gravel ground covering and lights make it a godsend in wet winter!
