Ho Tong Restaurant

Had take-out on a Saturday for lunch. Ordered fried rice, lo-mein, SS pork, ginger scallion beef. My wife I both agreed it was the best Chinese take-out we have had in Victoria! This will be our new go-to for take-out now.

Went the very first time like 4 years ago. It was great then and it's still great now. This time I got duck noodle soup. Will always be my go to place for some Chinese food in Victoria

Still a good restaurant after all these years, I was craving for some seafood, so I ordered all seafood dishes, all of them were very tasty.

Authentic Chinese Cuisine that is a must try if you're looking for quality Chinese food! I recommend the BBQ Duck, Sweet and Sour Pork and Beef Brisket Soup Noodles! The staff are always very friendly as well.

One of the most inconspicuous gems I've found yet. Haven't tried anything other than the beef and vegetable chow mein yet, but do I really need to?

Pick up one Fried Rice and one Stir-fried Beef Ho Fan. Fried rice is good, but Ho Fan is one of the worst I had in the last 20 years.

The food is very tasty. Our favourite dishes include black bean stir-fried green beans with beef, deep fried salt and pepper squid, stir-fried garlic broccoli, and egg fried rice. The woman on the phone taking orders is super warm and friendly. Pick up time is accurate as the dishes come out hot. Just wish their online menu was more easily accessible. I’m not even sure if all the items we ordered are on the menu, but we are happy they serve them!

Today being served smaller portions but also when paying bill noticed price increased substantially.
Entered restaurant at 1: 10 pm, saw only 4 customers eating so on ordering food it arrived under 10 minutes. That was rapid. Shrimp fried rice was bland & dry. Not impressed.
Lunch time closes at 2 pm posted on the glass door.
Most probably won't be making return visits.

Had lunch today Dec29th and really enjoyed the food. The price and serving size was generous. Ginger beef and sweet n sour pork were delicious and crispy. Tried a few other restaurants here but this one was the best flavour food.

Delicious Chinese food! The price was very reasonable. One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Victoria, I was so happy to find out they had my favorite dish Pork Belly with Preserved Veg, we also ordered tofu with seafood pot, beef chow fun and Salt and Pepper Squid. I enjoyed everything but wished the Salt and Pepper Squid had a little more salt.

The guy that works at night is extremely rude. I hope he’s family because keeping someone like that around can’t be good for business.

Always a good place for some Chinese food, one of my favorite places to stop and have a bite to eat. Great portions and tastes excellent.

The best Chinese food in Victoria! The food was wonderful and lived up to the recommendation from a long term resident. Service was fine and the atmosphere was OK. Will certainly be back when I am in Victoria!
