Holiday Inn Express & Suites Vernon, an IHG Hotel

Great place to stay everything was awesome room / breakfast/ staff and only a 2 minute walk to the casino. Why stay anywhere else. Next stay in Vernon stay here you will thank us.

So, this place has only 1 elevator which is abrupt when it takes you down to the lobby. Then you are greeted with a snob, incompetent front desk who doesn't even know what a "band-aid" is. Nevwr smiles and barely speaks english. Which is fine but come on a band aid? Thats like well known around the world you'd think anyway. The floor is dirty. The sofa in the main lobby is covered in stain of all sorts of colors of the rainbow in hell. The chairs are the same. Now, there is not enough parking as it shares with the Best Western that is weirdly located few feet in front of it. Also, the floor in our room was so filthy, i mean i dont expect it to be immaculate but not to the point where i can see stains clearly at night when i only have one lamp on! Then there's the pool so small and when we went there it was so busy that people where basically just standing in the pool because there was no area to swim or even stretch however they do have a lovely cloudy hot tub. So, if you dont mind catching something enjoy the water. In Addition, make sure that when you arrive and check in not to leave because you will not find a spot. I will not recommend this to anyone. You're better off to stay in the motel in the shadiest area of Vernon. DO NOT come here!

Had surgery in town and they let us have an early check in and a late check out to accommodate. Room was clean and staff were kind

Staff were awesome, we had an issue with our room and they instantly upgraded us to the honeymoon suite. 10/10!

Clean rooms, easy access from the road, free breakfast, not the closest to restaurants but not too far either. Would definitely stay again when in Vernon.

I booked a suite for celebrating my kid's birthday, but the staff (sorry that I forgot to ask her name, but she was really helpful and super friendly) called me that the room is unavailable and they would changed another suit for me. She apologized sincerely for the issue few times even it's not her fault and tried her best to comfort me. Really thanks for her help, we had a great time in the hotel.

The location was great. Within 10 minutes walking to the restaurants and superstore.

We love the hot tube and pool, maybe it's in weekdays, there's no person there when we were using it.

The room was clean and cozy. The breakfast was not fancy but good enough for us, crispy bacon was delicious.

Will book for the suite with jacuzzi next time!

That dump with the little boy at the front desk.who had the nerve to judge my dirtiness when I'm mid reno and simply wanting a break to normal for a couple days.anyway, I pay for two days in advance and get there and their machines won't take my credit or debit card. Eat that little boy. Judge this.

Pretty great service. I called in advance to make sure hot tub was working and yes was the answer this am during the ask and when I arrived it was down! But after I mentioned I booked thinking hot tub was operating, I was given a suite at no extra cost. To that I really liked.

Great staff amazing experience. The rooms are really clean. The prices are really great for the services they offer!

Great hotel, super friendly staff, easy to work with when we had to change our arrival by 1 day because of an avalanche near golden. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast was very delicious and there were alot of choices. I will be back here forsure on our next visit to vernon. Thanks Vernon Holiday Inn Express. Although I didn't have the pin number to my credit card, she insisted on taking the security deposit for the rooms.

Good place with clean hot spa & indoor pool. The room carpets may need to be replaced as they’re very old and don’t seem that clean. The all day coffee and tea is nice!

Great value for business trips to Vernon. They also offer an amazing breakfast which is included. Nice warm swimming pool and hot tube.

Great location, clean rooms, and an easy check in. We have two dogs, and the ladies at the front desk were wonderful- even offering treats! Our children loved the pool. We'd definitely stay here again.

Expectations were low, and still too high. Booked by phone and were provided a price for a pet friendly room, and weren't informed the prices don't include the fees related to having the pet actually in the room. First room provided was a hazard, with wet carpeted floors by an electrical outlet, so we had to move rooms to another room with a cracked outlet face, also a hazard. The fitness center is shoddy at best, with a bench that's not secure to the frame, and has exposed metal leading to injuries. All in all, wouldn't recommend.

There was no parking, had to park on the street far from the hotel.lots of vagrants around.door to the room wouldn't close properly abd sqeaked like an.old horror movie door.hotel was playing very loud music in the hallways. Which we found very odd. All round not worth the money to stay

Friendly helpful staff. Easy check in process. Excellent breakfast, even has a pancake maker! Rooms well appointed, I particularly liked the fact they can offer tooth brushes, razors etc if you forgot your own.
The ladies who serviced the room were great to, finding me some decaf coffee.

The place is filthy. Gang of kids were screaming and playing in the hallway from around 7.30ish.
The breakfast is very basic - tables were dirty.
I would avoid this place.

Room was clean, bed was a spring/dated bed but did its job. Breakfast was excellent. Only downside was the AC sounded like a truck in our room.

Worst experience ever! We booked 5 rooms back in April, but while checking, we were told about the temporarily closure of Hot tubs and pool, and they didn't even consider to inform us. After the fact, a discount was applied but kids were bored in the hotel, and since kids were kinda confined to their rooms, which obviously irked them and you know when they are in that state of mind, neighbors be ready for some noise!

Easy to get to, Right off the highway. Highway noise stops around 8pm and the room was quiet until the next morning traffic. Great selection for breakfast. Large room, very clean.

Nice Holiday Inn, with comfortable and quiet rooms. Free breakfast is a great start to the day.

When I come to Vernon, this is the hotel I want to stay at. The rooms are great, hotel is clean, they serve a great breakfast and there is an indoor pool!

Girl that works 2.30-10.30 and night auditor were great people and treated us very well.

Nice enough hotel for the price. Tesla charger was not working when I arrived. Girl working the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Made up for the elevator being broken.

I came here specifically because they advertise a Tesla ev connector. It allows me to charge overnight. It was broken - but luckily they had another level 2 connector that I had an adaptor for. Only 1. If someone else is in it - you’re out of luck. So glad the supercharge network is reliable and everywhere for travel
Cheap price for a room though and comfy for a short stay.

Great location, awesome hotel, fitting Holiday Inn brand reputation. 2 adults, 3 kids in a room with 2 queen beds is good fit. Room has microwave and refrigerator inside worked great for us. Coffee maker and air conditioner was a plus. Window view has partial city and mountain views. Overall recommended without hesitation.

Beds were horribly hard, would have been the same to sleep on the floor. Had the heater set to 65 ferinheight and woke up multiple times with it sitting at 85-88 but showing its still set at 65. The staff refused to enter our room to fix this issue. I'll never come back to this hotel again. Even the coffee is dreadful.

Room was clean, staff were pleasant, breakfast was okay. Only con was the parking, there are nowhere near enough stalls for the number of rooms in the hotel, and not much parking on the street either.

Pre booked for two night stay. Will we stay again? Probably not. Although the front desk people were very accommodating and friendly the room was not that great really. We had to ask for a few things that should have already been in the room (bath towels, toilet paper) and one small garbage can located in the bathroom is not enough. Was not worth the cost. Sorry.

The room was ch lean and nice, location very good. All staff were very friendly. Had a very pleasant stay with my family.

Great location. Room was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Really strong water pressure in the shower but drainage was not so good. Breakfast was conveniently served in "to-go" brown bags, which is understandable considering the current pandemic. Each bag included a pastry (muffin or cinnamon bun), a yogurt, an orange or apple, and a juice box. Would definitely stay again.

The beds are hard as a rock. And the tub drains very slow. So when you are done showering you are left with a foot of dirty water.

Great stay, hot shower, pleasantly firm bed and they found a way to do breakfast during covid. Would stay again.

The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Beds are comfortable, including the pillows with a choice of soft and firm. Breakfast is exactly what you would usually expect from any hotel. Rooms are quiet in the night. Bathrooms are large and clean with soap and other essentials prepared. Price is great and parking is easy to find. Free wifi.

We checked in on January 17,2020 with our hockey team and checked out on January 19,2020. When checking out I left a pair of Black Lugz boots in the bedroom closet top left corner. As we were leaving the maids were cleaning the room. When I got home I called the hotel about My forgotten boots. They then proceeded to tell me there were no boots in the room there never were any boots in the room and they were sorry and hoped I would find them. LIES LIES LIES!

After a terrible experience and a lost reservation at the Best Western across the parking lot, our wedding party went over to the Holiday Inn where we were greeted by Morgan, who went above and beyond to help us! She was able to accommodate our Wedding party and continued to provide excellent customer service and great hospitality throughout the wedding weekend!

I can not express enough gratitude to this hotel! I had originally booked three rooms at the Best Western and when we went to check in the night before our wedding they had gave away our rooms and had no solution for us. We went to the Holiday Inn and they went above and beyond. Including giving us a card to apologize on behalf of the Best Western, roses, a bottle of wine and a great deal on rooms. Their customer service was amazing and I can thank them enough for coming to the rescue! Thanks again for everything!

Easy check-in. Staff at reception was friendly and professional. Free breakfast has a lot of options including fresh fruit and yogurt. Room was clean, but a little dated. There was a leak under the sink in the washroom and I told the front desk and they fixed it the next day. Convenient free parking. Large fridge and comfortable bed. Would come back.

First of ALL it was big, nice, clean, fancy, larger than other hotels ive been to today, also the NICEST ive ever been to.

I stayed last weekend and initially was given room 201. It stunk, like mold and cigarettes. I tried to phone the front desk to ask if we could move rooms but the phone wouldn't work. So we went back down to the front desk with our concerns. The ladies at the front desk were not very customer oriented, they seemed a bit scared about how to deal with our request. We were being sweet and reasonable. Finally they had a little whisper and the likely more senior employee said she had to come to the room with us to see about the smell and didn't believe that the phone didn't work. Okay now I am getting annoyed. We had early check in, and while they were fully booked, we were one of the first people there so getting another room shouldn't have even been an issue. Move us, figure it out and move on.anyway, so we go to the room, she agrees it smells and then starts fiddling with the phone and says we have to press line 1.it was already depressed and still couldn't reach the front desk. We stated again we didn't want to stay in this room. She blamed the odour on the last tenant, but this smelled like old smoke and a leak that hasn't been fixed. Begrudgingly she moved us, our second room was 207, it was "okay" not really clean, the light above the mirror was burnt out and there were lots of gross stains on the bathroom door, the shower wasn't really clean and the water would not drain, so that was also very unpleasant. The front door needed to be shaved down and scraped on the carpet when it opened leaving a dirty ring where it stops, so the carpet looked extra gross. The beds were comfy, the pool was fine, the breakfast was good, but they need to do a thorough clean of both the rooms we saw and train their staff to deal with the customer first and figure out what is wrong after. If my company hadn't of booked here, I would never have stayed here, and I wouldn't stay again unless every other decent hotel in Vernon was booked.

Took 20 minutes to check in. 19 minutes waiting for the person at the counter to actually get checked in and 1 minute for me. What?

Beds are very comfy with a choice of soft or firm pillows. The pancake machine is what I like the pancakes are awesome.

When I ever come to Vernon my stay is always wonderfull from the moment I walk in Darian and aileen make me feel at home! The rooms are always very clean free breakfast is really tasty (love the pancake machine)!

Great place to stay. Close to everything. Indoor pool and hot tub. Friendly staff. Clean rooms.
