J'y retournerai definitivement lors d'un futur voyage à Vancouver.

Ils ont un endroit barré avec accés restreint pour entreposer les vélos.

A month ago we planned our trip to Vancouver and reserved 4 rooms here through IHG website.
When we were about to check-in we found to our surprise that the owner/manager cancelled our reservations without informing us saying that the credit card could not be authorized. Well what kind of service is that where you cannot verify the credit card during hotel reservations and keep people uninformed until last day. On the top of it they were saying that if you want the rooms you have to reserve again at today's rate which were way higher than what we reserved for.
Maybe they sold our rooms for better rates. I have reserved so many hotel rooms and never this had happened to me in Hilton or Marriot or any other hotel. This was my first and last reservation on IHG hotels.
On the top of it they deleted by account activity. I even cannot find this reservation in Cancelled stays. Holiday Inn (IHG) here is the reservation that you cancelled for your reference: 29759198 (Jun 2,2023 - Jun 4,2023)

We already spoke with Jenny (your manager) and verified that there was no communication made and she emailed when we called her and by that time the reservation was already cancelled.
What is the point of sending the confirmation number a month ago when your old systems technology cannot validate a card and you wait for the last minute for verification. Does Marriot/Hilton or any other hotel wait for last minute verification. You need to be logical and practical. When I discussed this with IHG guest relations they said IHG website cannot do the card verification and put it on the franchise owner. And you don't do the verification either until the last date and try to cancel.
Again, not a single email was received from you or your hotel.

Great location and cleanliness. The one negative was when I ask for late check out they told me I need to call at 6 AM to see if I can get it. Lol. That’s a deal breaker.

I had the misfortune of staying in this hotel for two nights. The staff were very rude. The rooms were not made-up in the morning, all that was done was to change the towels, pull up the doona from one corner, pillows were left on the floor. Breakfast was the worst I have ever come across in any hotel. Buffet breakfast was all dry seemed like it was leftover from the day before, and very little to choose from and served in cardboard bowls and wooden cutlery. I wouldn't stay here again if you payed me.

Reminds me very much of the hotels in Tokyo, very central and close to everything you could ever want or need as a traveler. Every ethnic type of food is a few minutes walk, rapid transit outside the front door, breakfast included (really good selection), very walkable with a massive city park within blocks, no need to drive for anything

Staff are very rude, housekeeping is discusting, breakfast was very poor selection and tasted as if leftover from day before and served on cardboard bowls and wooden cutlery. My advice is go to another hotel.

Very good staff,
Good complementary breakfast, no need to go out for breakfast.
Perfect location. I rented car but you don't have to. Skytrain and bus service are just across the street. Buy daily pass and njoy any public ride for $11 a day.
Highly recommend this place for family vacation.

Holiday Inn Express has come a long way from the first one I stayed in many years ago. Room was large, quiet and king size bed was very comfortable. Breakfast choice was expansive and very tasty. LRT station is across the street with easy access and large mall is all around.
If you are coming to Burnaby this is the place to stay.

This hotel is close to metrotown and sky train. We enjoyed our stay here, staff were friendly and accomodating especially Michelle. Also breakfast kitchen staffs were efficient, friendly and helpful.

One of the best ihg hotel experiences I've had so far.
Arrived at around 1 am due to our over delayed flight with two crying toddlers. The man checking us in was helpful and patient, gave extra snacks - if you've ever traveled with kids, you know snacks are are king. Room was clean and had good amount of room, shower had good pressure. Location was handy, it's right across the street from the skytrain (half hour train ride to CBD). Located as apart of the metro mall, right next to the crystal mall. Tim Hortons and starbucks right at entrance. Great complimentary breakfast, well staffed and good amount of room.
I would definitely stay here again and reccomend it.

This Holiday Inn Express can be said to be located in the city center of Burnaby, Greater Vancouver. It is located in a shopping mall, next to the larger Metrotown Shopping Center. The MRT station and bus transfer station are just around the corner, just a 2-minute walk away. Therefore, it can be seen that the living functions around it are very complete.
The hotel room is not very big, but there is still plenty of space besides the two double beds. The size of the bathroom is also appropriate and does not feel oppressive.
The hotel's access control is mainly based on electronic proximity cards, including entering the lobby. The same goes for entering the restaurant for breakfast.
Basically, this is a good hotel to stay at again. However, between staying for two consecutive nights, there were some minor flaws in the cleanliness of the room on the second day. Although the garbage bags were changed, the cleaning staff negligently forgot to take the garbage out of the room for disposal. In addition, the two bedside lamps in the room are not on, or are there other switches?

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the behavior exhibited by the male front desk staff during my recent stay at your hotel. I believe it is important to bring these incidents to your attention in order to address the poor treatment and racist behavior that my family and I experienced.

On May 9, my family and I checked in as three adults after a long and tiring 15-hour drive from Bella Coola. Our purpose for checking in was solely to drop off our belongings before departing for Campbell River the following day. Unfortunately, our arrival was marred by the unprofessional and disrespectful attitude displayed by the male clerk at the front desk.

Upon our arrival, the male clerk immediately made assumptions that the accompanying children would also be staying in our room. I took the initiative to clarify the situation, explaining that we had arrived in separate vehicles and were waiting as we were locked out of our family members' place. Despite my efforts to provide an explanation, the male clerk continued to treat us with disdain and conveyed an unpleasant attitude throughout the following interaction.

Later that evening, at 11: 30 pm, our family members arrived. As my father went to see my mother, I gave him a key to get in while I left, and soon after my father left, I realized that I had left some food behind and my father had forgotten the key, so we returned the key promptly. To my dismay, I was met with the same disrespectful behavior from a different male staff member, further exacerbating our negative experience.

The culmination of this distressing treatment occurred during the early hours of the morning when we received an unexpected phone call at 2: 00 am. The staff member on the line claimed to have heard noises coming from our room, insinuating that we were causing a disturbance. This unwarranted and baseless accusation not only disrupted our much-needed rest but also left us deeply unsettled.

As a paying customer, I believe it is imperative for your hotel to maintain a professional and respectful environment for all guests, irrespective of their background or ethnicity. The actions and assumptions made by your male front desk staff not only demonstrate a lack of sensitivity and cultural awareness but also contribute to an atmosphere that promotes discrimination and racism.

I kindly request that you address these concerns promptly and take appropriate measures to rectify the situation. It is my hope that by doing so, you will ensure that future guests are not subjected to the same distressing experience that my family and I endured.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that you will take the necessary steps to address and resolve these issues promptly.

Lady attendants were nice and welcoming however the male attendants were very interrogating and accusatory. Not a very welcoming experience getting phoned at 2 am after you've travelled 15 hours! 3 guests @$100 per person you think they'd treat you better! If you believe in bad vibes then stay clear. Yes I'm writing this angry because I got woken up at 2am!

Feeling deceived and let down by the Holiday Inn Metrotown

Despite booking our room weeks in advance and doing our due diligence, we were sorely disappointed by our stay at the Holiday Inn. Upon arrival, we were met with striking hotel staff and a lack of housekeeping services, which was not disclosed to us beforehand, nor was it on their website. This is an utterly deceitful way of doing business, and it's unacceptable.

Furthermore, we were promised breakfast as part of our room rate, but it turned out to be microwavable breakfast boxes that were inedible and unappetizing. We chose the hotel based on this promise and were sorely disappointed, and if we had known beforehand, we would never have stayed there.

Adding to the discomfort was the unclean toilet seat, which was unacceptable. We were also charged for parking, which, considering the other problems we encountered, was inappropriate.

The staff made no effort to check on us or address our concerns, and our checkout process was rushed and unsatisfactory. We had a long journey ahead of us, and we didn't have the energy to argue with the staff.

The only positive aspect of our stay was the spacious room and the friendly lady serving the microwavable breakfast. Nonetheless, we are extremely unhappy with our experience and would like to speak to someone in charge to resolve our issues. We have previously written to the Holiday Inn but have yet to receive a response.

My best advice for ownership is to let go of Scott.

I was here with my girlfriend for valentines, I just wanted to make a comment on how amazing the service was during breakfast. I felt like a king.

This place has a Manger with the most fragile ego. We had a guest visit the room and they watched the cameras and immediately called the room to ask what was going on. Didn't feel welcome and felt like a prison. Worst hotel experience I ever had. Not welcome for families.

My boyfriend and I are currently staying the night here, and we absolutely love it. We live a few Cities over, and definitely will have this as our Go-to place to get away. The staff here are outstanding, and the rooms are so clean. The rooms have everything you need and more. Thanks for having us!
