Holiday Inn & Suites Osoyoos, an IHG Hotel

Great location on the water with nice little beach. The small patio is always in use. Staff is friendly and helpful, though staffing is short.
The rooms are nicely sized but dated and in need of some repairs. Disappointing considering the cost of the room.
The air conditioning is really sub optimal. Was too warm at night. We had to get a fan. The first night, the fan sent up was broken and I couldn't reach the front desk for replacement. We returned the broken fan the next morning and they kindly replaced it with a newer, better fan. Second night sleep was better.
Can't recommend staying here on the hottest summer days as it's just not comfortable but otherwise would be fine. Every staff member we encountered was lovely and helpful. Shout out to great staff!

Well it's hard to give review if you've never actually stayed at a hotel but I've stayed at many other hotels. I assume that it would be very good and top-notch service because I stay at many of the hotels around here and they are all very accommodating I hope you have a good time and if so yes I live here now so I don't use the hotels but they've always been nice to me and are very gracious enough to let me collect their pop bottles in recycling so I can earn some extra money

Hotel staff call me 20 minutes before check that the air con was not working and we could cancel or hope that a portable air con was available to be used for use, WOW great what are to do 20 minutes before check in all other hotel book. So we don't cancel the room get to the hotel have to Wait a hour for a room to be available/ at this point i am thinking they are doing the best they can. So the air con will keep the room a bit cool ok but still very warm in the bedroom a fan would help to move the cool ai/ So I sleep on the couch so I don`t sweet all night / then i found out the air conditioner has been out of services for a couple of days before we book the hotel room.

NOT INPRESS with them should been told up front about no air conditioner
we could of book another hotel at a different place / but not much chance of doing that 30 minutes before check in Will not book with them again

There’s a prive beach at the property which is so convenient so you don’t need to bother to leave the hotel to enjoy the lake!
My friends and I stayed in a large suite where we could look to the lake from our rooms and living area! Staff is very friendly and helpful! I’d definitely stay there again in the future!

Well. Horrible customer service; unfriendly and unapologetic. Our stay confirmation days before was different from the one when I booked- higher price and added days. We were never given a bill after our stay- charged the incorrect card. Had to call multiple times since management wouldn't return my calls. It took 5days after our check out to deal with this. Disappointed with this hotel. Will not be back.

Wonderfully helpful front-desk staff, especially Hayden and Heidi, when we were caught in a pinch.
Great location on the short isthmus between the lakes.

The place is a little tired but so is almost everything in Osoyoos. Still this good value. And Service is great. They gave us an opportunity to look at a number of different rooms and take our pick. Even gave us a free upgrade!

Horrible service, first off when I called the person on the phone couldn’t understand what I was saying while I was spelling my name and giving my details and got it wrong even while I repeated it and gave the “A as in apple” examples, and upon check in not only was it spelled wrong that person on the phone quoted me the wrong price. The two people at check in were not nice and did not make it easy upon quick in and it took much longer than it should have. The underground parking was very tight so if you have a larger vehicle it may be tricky getting in and out of the spots. It also was almost full after we returned from dinner. They also very much upcharge on the snacks in the lobby I went down to get some chips and dip and it was going to be $15 and the guy at the counter said the chips were $8 alone without the salsa - this is crazy and not worth it so I didn’t purchase them.

The 2 stars because room was nice and fully equipped because it was a suite, you can judge by the photos of the condition of the items. I’m sure this room would be good for a longer stay. We didn’t utilize the pool but it looked nice. They also have a restaurant with a nice view of the lake on the second floor.

Overall the service was just not there which was very disappointing.

Location is good, we came during off season so it wasn’t expensive for the night. They forgot to clean our bathroom from the previous guest. We had used bar soap and shampoo still in the shower and the toilet wasn’t clean. Rest of the room was fine. The balcony with the lake view was nice!

EDIT: The hotel reimbursed my charging fee after talking with them for an hour.
I booked a room at the holiday inn hotel in osoyoos because of the EV charger. However, the charger was out of order and the employee told me to charge my electric car to a paid station and they will cover the cost. The next day another employee says they won't cover the cost because the charger doesn't belong to them and it's the third party company to cover it. The third party company told me that the hotel did not warn them about the charger being out of order.

Also do not take their apple juice, they charge you 5$ for a glass and it is not included in their free breakfast coupon.

We stayed in a family suite and it was so nice! Will definitely be visiting again. Love it and a great walk to the pub and beach.

Stayed for 5 nights in April. Great location on the main road with underground parking. We were told when we arrived that the room would be cleaned after our 3rd night, unfortunately it was not. The slide lock on the patio door was not working properly, the ice machine on the second floor didn't work, wall mounted tvs with the telus box dangling behind it and other lazy looking renovations (no caulking around tub base). The best part of the stay was the breakfast and view in the restaurant. Hopefully they get things fixed up, it would be a great spot if they did.

Outstanding location and lake view, nice little balcony, clean modern room, good underground parking. Professional reception desk. A positive experience overall.
