The park is phenomenal!
5 STARS across the board.
The park handyman / maintenance man is an astonishingly RUDE & WILDLY OFFENSIVE man who is impatient with the disabled.
Women in particular are at the top of his "hit list". He's insulting & arrogant.

Always an issue-smoky many years & a flood-mud slide another- no compensation given to timeshare owners who pay plenty- no good general store anymore- so many gnats you can’t sit outside at night- not enough golf carts to rent- they keep upping the fees for timeshare members & give them nothing to warrant it- made me move twice from my original condo.
A real disappointment for the last 8 years. Used to be pretty great.

Fabulous condos and rentable Rv sites. 4 pools, 3 hot tubs, tennis/pickle ball, pool tables, and much more! Very nice!

Awesome place. Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. Staff are very friendly. Big rv park. We rented out a golf cart for a day that was fun as well. (fcfs)
Rv sites are clean and spacious. Close to other lakes as well. Gave us individual wifi router that was.

Holiday Park RV Resort exceeded all our expectations! The park services were impeccable. Its convenient location was a major plus, making our stay a breeze. The pools were delightful, and the pricing for our room was excellent value for money. Above all, the friendly atmosphere made our time there truly unforgettable. Highly recommended! 10/10.

I normally avoid rv parks (like the plague). I find them crowded and noisy with little or no greenery: however I had a discount coupon and needed to dewinterize my rv so thought it was worth a try. Overall i was pleasantly surprised. More of a resort than a typical campground. I was there in early April so not too busy. Only drawback was the outdoor pools weren’t open (too bad I would have enjoyed the lap pool) but the adult only hot tub was open. The sites are pretty packed together but most of them seem permanently occupied so nicely maintained with trees and grass etc. Very friendly check in staff. The little cafe was nice. The cinnamon buns were amazing but you have to get them to keep one for you because they sell out fast. Not sure I would pay full price ($85) but if you like rv parks this is definitely one of the better ones I have been to.

Stayed in their timeshare condo studio. Very friendly staff and people. Got to ski and play pickle ball during the spring week I stayed. It's in lake county which has some great wineries and a cindery down the street.

We come here in our RV but have friends staying in the condos. We have been coming here for 12 years. Our children, grands and great grands. It is a safe place for kids. Security makes their rounds literally every hour.

Went to wood lake rv and camp ground to introduce myself, and find out more about the place. Met the staff and found them friendly and accommodating. I found the rv and camp ground well maintained, and well organized. I also noticed a lot of smiling faces, which tells me it’s one of the best places for a staycation.

We have been coming every year for 4 years now, and have up until now enjoyed a pleasant stay.
This morning we woke up to security telling us that my car (parked in another unused spot), was charged for a full night.
Upon calling to ask why, I was hung up on twice by the front desk woman who charged my card, who simply said "I am not having this conversation with you". Frustrated at not knowing why they didn't simply ask us to move, we drove up to the front to chat with her.
At that time, she said she had told me that if I parked there, I would be charged (which she did not).
I explained to her that the day before, I was out on the lake and got caught in a storm, and almost died. I had even called her to ask her for help when this was happening.
My fiancé had moved my car into the spot it was in, unknowing to me, and he was also never told that there would be a charge if we parked our vehicles there.
I went to the front to speak to the front desk woman to explain that I was injured from the day before, and it was a very scary experience, and that I was sorry that my vehicle was the last thing on my mind. However, neither of us were every told there would be a charge, and it was not our intention to purposefully leave the car there, it was a very traumatic chain of events that had went on the day before, and she was aware of that.
Upon coming to the front desk, she held to her notion that she told me that I would be charged, but that conversation did not happen. She simply had asked me not to park there, and I explained to her that it was not me that moved the car there, it was my fiancé, and he was unaware.
Overall, it would have been nice for my fiancé to have had a warning, though I understand he moved MY vehicle so they thought it was me.
Now, since I refused to leave until figuring it out, the woman said that management would be speaking with me in the morning.
I feel I have the right to be upset about being charged full price (not even the courtesy of charging the discounted rate being offered to people this season due to covid), when I was unaware that it had been moved in the first place, and due to the circumstances, it really sucks knowing that the staff don't care if you almost died on their lake the day before which might warrant forgetfulness.

The customer service we experienced was just very disappointing and frankly hurtful as we have been coming every year and have been nothing but pleasant to deal with.
The woman would rather allow things to escalate than to work with us to figure out an amicable solution.
Unfortunately we will be taking our yearly trips elsewhere from here on out. Very disappointing.

They Closed everything even stuff that would have no interaction with anyone. There was nothing to do here they wanted you to pay for your own wifi. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

These guys are great!
Don Culic is the nicest guy you will ever meet.
Let him and his staff treat you to an unforgettable time at Holiday Park Resort

I live here in a Condo and I love it here.it is a fantastic living here with fantastic neighbors and great people all over the place, a big Dog park, beautiful view on Ellison Lake, little golf court and sooooooo many other great activities and possibilities.sure, some little things could be better but I easy can tolerate them because in overall it is a about great place to live in.best decision my wife and me made to come and move in here

Amenities are nice (dog park, pools etc) and trailer spaces are pretty decently sized. However, there is something wrong with the water here and it can get really gross at times (very strong rotten egg odour). After bringing this to the managers attention I was told that they were not going to address the issue and that they are not forcing me to stay here.disappointing to say the least.

You will not find another RV Resort like this. They have many amenities. It's located on a nice, little lake and a half hour from Kelowna or Vernon. It's a great place!
09 February 2020 2:54
This is a drive-in caravan park BUT it has multi-storey single room and multiple bedroom hotel rooms, mostly with a small kitchen. The really interesting aspect is the heated pools and games rooms usable for your stay.
09 February 2020 0:27
Limited Wi-Fi, but comfortable accommodations. Friendly people, recreation center, and good restaurant. Lots of eating places and wineries nearby.
26 January 2020 22:40
Great sites with RPI. Full timers and part time RVers. Very friendly people. Very well kept. Pools, playground, small golf course, community centers with puzzles, library, games room and card room. Organized events if you want to join in.

The amenities here are great! This place is so relaxing and most of the people you run into are good people. The place looks a little dated. I stayed at a friends timeshare and there were three different paint colours in one room. Place is clean enough and I had a great week relaxing would not hesitate to come again. Location is great as well.

I spent a lot of time at the outdoor adult only hot tub they have showers and a change room out there. Shower heads aren’t great but sit the trick!

They have a pretty decent exercise room and an indoor pool (pool was closed for maintenance when I was here in October) they looked like a good time.

This is an aging park but they try hard to keep it clean and functioning. Some of the tv spots and roads are very narrow but others are ok, so specify to them if you are a big rig and need more room for backing. They have couple of pools and hot tubs, gym, tennis and pickle ball on the same court, but they only allow pickle ball up until 3 pm and you can't play on friday or sunday, which is ridiculous because hardly anyone plays tennis these days. They do lots of group functions like pancake breakfasts, etc. So check out their weekly schedule.
15 October 2019 9:39
Family friendly if you don't have kids. Looked into winter camping here and was told they only allow children in the park up to a max of three months. Not so family oriented after all.
14 October 2019 15:05
What a great place to stay! Our condo was super clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our family. Staff were friendly and helpful, kids had tons of fun in the pool. Grounds were perfectly taken care of and everyone was so nice. Would definitely stay here again
24 September 2019 21:42
Nice park. Clean and good amenities, but full of really cranky old people who seem to hate having kids around. Won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone with kids.
24 September 2019 3:41
Very dated seniors park.
Beach area not taken care of.
Golf course has gravel faraways.
Family outdoor hot tub jets don't work but pool was great. This should be a 2 star timeshare.
11 September 2019 8:44
Great resort overall:
3 outdoor pools & 2 hot tubs
1 indoor pool/hot tub/sauna
2 laundromats open 24/7
Lots of activities & events offered
Private golf course
Convenience store
Restaurant
Wood workshop
Propane refill
Shuffleboard
Basketball/Tennis court
On & off leash dog parks
& more!

Staff on the other hand... Not too impressed. A load of my laundry (my favorite blankets, sheets & housecoats) was taken by a security guard. Another security guard waited outside the shower while my fiancè showered multiple times as well as when our guests showered. This same security guard made complaints about us although our neighbors never made any complaints or hand any issues with us.

We enjoyed staying in this resort which is almost a small village with 2000 guests on busy days. The place is very clean, 3 swimming pools, game rooms, hot tubs and they organise many activities. The staff is very friendly. In short, go here when you are travelling with kids and want to enjoy Kelowna and it’s surrounding.
23 August 2019 11:48
New and clean washrooms off the large conversation hot tub. Many other pools and hot tubs. Nice restaurant on location.
21 August 2019 23:56
If you are planning on living here or staying beware that you will have some senior with nothing better to do than complain about something silly. They are a bunch of adult bullies and it’s disgusting. Unfortunately management feeds into it. They have a ton of amenities but it’s only worth it if you want your trip ruined by the amount of silly rules they have. For example, being written up because you were unloading your vehicle for 45 min and your vehicle was 5 inches onto the road. And that’s just one example. I understand disturbing your neighbours with being too loud or smoking but there was none of that from us. I will never stay here again and I hope you think twice about buying or staying here! There’s lots of places in the okanagan with pools and amenities, stay away from this one!
16 August 2019 3:23
If I could give 0 stars I would, this ‘resort’ doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. If you want to stay here, be prepared to be surrounded by a bunch of cranky old people that have nothing better to do then to complain about other people in the park. Oh and make sure you don’t have any animals or children, apparently this park, people staying along with management clearly could care less about having them in their park. Save your money and stay somewhere else, not worth the amenities that they offer.
14 August 2019 3:08
Friendly place to visit family, that is camping and a wounderful place to rent a site from if u want to stay a couple days or a week. I am told.
21 July 2019 2:45
Visited friends,
at gate was an honest, friendly smile who took care and patience to give us not only a map but a 'correct' set of verbal instructions how to find our free food Andrew awaiting hospitality friends.

I recently returned from a week-long stay here. I accidentally left behind an item of clothing and after numerous unanswered calls, voice messages, and emails to see if there is any way I can retrieve it, I finally got through and they mailed it to me (with a $20 charge). I really wanted to like this place more than I did, but there were too many negatives during my stay:

- Ate at the resort's Italian restaurant on the first night. Food tasted amazing, but it gave me food poisoning. Was so sick during the night.

- No free wifi in the condos. You can pay $40 to have wifi for the week, so we called to activate it and were told that it was "broken" and that they would "try" to fix it the next day. Was never fixed. We inquired with the front desk and were told that they don't deal with the wifi. S. O. L.

- Terrible "cable". Limited options on the television. Maybe 3 working channels, and they weren't good ones.

- DVD player was broken. We asked about having it fixed, and came back from a day out to find it finally working.on the last night of our stay.

- All of the outdoor pools were "closed for maintenance" and when we tried to go for a swim in the indoor pool, we walked into a bingo event taking place inside the pool area. So, surprise! No swimming for you.

- Adult hot tub, while nice and big, was not very hot at all. More like a small warm pool.

As for the few positives, the condo had a little kitchen area which was nice for the days we wanted to make our own meals. And it's dog friendly and has a nice large fenced off-leash area for dogs.

Three pools are closed. Arcade is pay. This resort is mainly set up for people living full time. If your not here in June to Sept, it's not worthy of the costs in my opinion.
28 June 2019 20:55
A very nice campground. Lots of amenities. We were here late March so a lot of the amenities were not open (golf course, outdoor pool). The reason for my lower review is we asked for sites close together as there were two of us travelling together. We were told " it's 67 acres, there is no way that can happen". When we got there and got our sites we were two streets apart. Not real bad in a large park we thought. Except the site directly behind ours was empty for the entire weekend. So they could have made a little better effort to accommodate our request.
10 April 2019 13:44
Our site would have been ideal in the height of summer as shaded by trees and large conifers but we were camping in spring so it was too shaded to sit out. Had to carry our chairs to our friends site. Take ear plugs as close to the airport. Loved hot tub nearby. And the rec centre but indoor pool was tiny and very weird in the middle of a large room. Take big spray too April and at dusk lots of mosquitos to contend with.
